"Foul boar! For your assault upon our party, you have felt our fury!"
(Jason uses his bonus action to recall the Hex, and reassigns it to the new creature. Hit roll: 11 If successful 9) "You! Flying monster, shall meet your fate! Eldritch Blast!" (Hex damage if hits: 5 + disadvantage on DEX).
Your eldritch blast misses as the cloaker manages to dodge it
Give this man inspiration, that was beautiful role play

OOC: As a DM, I would encourage you to respond in character, to how Jason's words made your character feel. As a rule, it's poor etiquette for to ask for inspiration. It's also poor etiquette to respond to another character's miss, out of character like this. Responding in-character is considered good etiquette, say some words of encouragement or lament in-character that your party member missed. Who knows, your response might garnish inspiration for your character too.

(OOC: TY for clarifying NathanAscher. I think rafflmandel meant well, when stating such. Sometimes, when I take a little time to make a real developed blessing with my Cleric in a different game, I've had some other players suggest Inspiration. Sometimes, the DMs have so much they're doing, they may not be thinking of Inspiration. When they get feedback from other players, they may decide "sure, I'll do that." But, of course, we ask, and respect whichever choice the DM makes. Sometimes, in games, we players can mix with what we know, with what characters won't know, due to our excitement. Again, TY for your points.
Also, while it's true Jason missed--and I keep forgetting to roll for Hex AND EB!--rafflmandel was complimenting the RP, not the attack miss. That will, inevitably transfer from me, to Jason. Maybe the creature's dodging the EB puts it right into Sniss's attack, so that in character, Sniss can say something like "Thanks for the set up, Jason!" "Uh, sure! That was my plan!"
All-in-all, I'm having a Blast...yes, bad pun intended!" ^_^)
“Incredible, but next time it would be pretty cool if the blast made impact!”
Eldrin sees a group of adventurers working as a team, "Friend or Foe?" he calls out to the closest one, "We surely must come together as a team to defeat such a heinous monster."
Eldrin skirts the tree line, trying to find a way to escape the cave monster without sewing too much chaos.
Erdon catches up to DeDe, "Lets go to the cave and finish the rug creature. Anyone else want to join us. We'll come back to the boar. Mihgt be more stuff in that cave though too. Thoughts everyone?"
Erdon pauses with DeDe a moment to reflect with the others.

Eldrin rushes to meet the party. "Hello new friends, I am known as Eldrin the Wanderer. I've become lost in these woods. Might I join your ranks at least long enough to find the way back to town?"
Edena, to Eldrin. "Of course you can join us. We can always use another person." And then to everybody else "I think we should go to the cave, but if we do that the boars' meat might get eaten by scavengers or go bad in the heat."
Eldrin pulls out some spare sacks, some rope, and daggers.
"If we tie a rope to the boar's back legs, and hoist it up over strong branches, we can bleed it out, which makes harvesting the meat much less messy. Collected vials of blood can be mixed with common minerals to make ink. We can skin the hide and remove the fur, if done by an artisan, it could catch a fair price. Saving some bones might be useful to dry them and ground them into valuable bone meal."
Edena considers. "It won't be quick, but how urgently do we need to go into the cave anyway? Lets get working on it. Any one have any vials or containers for the blood?"
"First, I'd like to inquire of this fellow, who was in the cave, whom this creature was pursing. Can you tell us why you were in the cave, and if there are any dangers we should be aware of?"
As Jason waits for the fellow to reply, he turns his attention to Sniss: "Good to see you're still alive. Do you need any help? As a Paladin, I can use my Lay on Hands to help stabilize you, if you need a little boost."
"First, I'd like to inquire of this fellow, who was in the cave, whom this creature was pursing. Can you tell us why you were in the cave, and if there are any dangers we should be aware of?"
"I was lost on the ridge above the cave entrance and without warning I fell and tumbled down the cliff. When I got up, I noticed a beautiful cloak, just inside that spooky cave. Thinking it was a magic cloak, or at least valuable one, I grabbed it. Little did I know it was a cave monster in disguise."
"Erdon comments, "Ok, let's hoist the boar up and go finish this other beastie in the cave. Here I'll create a trinket to memorialize the event. The mission was for the boar meat. We need to protect it, I guess. DeDe and I can stay here with Sniss perhaps."
Erdon takes some bark and creates a trinket with all the names that helped slay the boar creating a visual of the hanging boar and the group around it for proof. He'll make sure to make note of any special feature to identify the boar too.

“OH THANK KURTELMAK, IM ACTIVELY DYING, I WAZ GOIN TO BE DEADS IN THAT CAVE!”
Jason approaches Sniss, and drops to a knee, closes his eyes, and Lay on Hands:
"May the grace of healing be upon you, bringing comfort and restoration to every part of your being. May you find peace in the knowledge that you are surrounded by support, guiding you on your journey to recovery. May your body and mind be strengthened, and may you feel the presence of divine healing energy flowing through you, bringing wholeness and wellness. May you be blessed with the strength and courage to face any challenges that may come your way, knowing that you are never alone in your journey towards healing. Praised be the Raven Queen!"
(Of a pool of 10 HP, 5 have now been added to Sniss).
"I know the healing wasn't as much as I would wish, but it should help to stabilize you, little friend."
"Which of us shall pursue the creature? I think I'll show it my skills as a Polearm Master, and let it feel my Divine Smite!"

( any suggestions for the Dm send via pm to not block up the narrative. Great advice from Nathan. i think Dungho Dave has gone awol and will skip)
Salt Peet will be inspired by watching Sniss run right up to the incoming toothy rug and sock it one.
” Thats mazin Sniss, wata punch!”
he will look down at his own fist for a second and then change his mind and send a fist shaped bolt of fire at it instead.
cast firebolt: Attack: 18 Damage: 5
The firebolt scorches the beast’s face causing it to bank off and retreat to the darkness of the cave, looking very injured.
