Jason approaches Sniss, and drops to a knee, closes his eyes, and Lay on Hands:
"May the grace of healing be upon you, bringing comfort and restoration to every part of your being. May you find peace in the knowledge that you are surrounded by support, guiding you on your journey to recovery. May your body and mind be strengthened, and may you feel the presence of divine healing energy flowing through you, bringing wholeness and wellness. May you be blessed with the strength and courage to face any challenges that may come your way, knowing that you are never alone in your journey towards healing. Praised be the Raven Queen!"
(Of a pool of 10 HP, 5 have now been added to Sniss).
"I know the healing wasn't as much as I would wish, but it should help to stabilize you, little friend."
"Which of us shall pursue the creature? I think I'll show it my skills as a Polearm Master, and let it feel my Divine Smite!"
Sniss would stand up, bracing themselves on their knees, before quickly adding on “and I’ll punch it real good, make it feel Tha thundah!” Before raising his fist up with a small crackle of excited electricity
Edena looks at the two. "If you need help tracking it, I still have my hunter's mark on it. Otherwise, I think I would be more help preparing the boar to take back with us."

I'm not sure how hurt everyone is, but I also vote that we escape the forest and return another day.
Erdon replies, "My new friends. Let's not rush into the unknown when we have the Boar here that needs to be dealt with and processed to get back for our quest reward. A Stirge in hand is worth 2 in the bush, my momma always told me. Or something like that." Erdon smiles.

Eldrin will use the help action to give the next person advantage on either slight of hand or survival to make precise cuts to remove the fur If someone helps Eldrin, he will gain advantage on his survival check to skin the boar at survival +3, 13
We might need another check to remove the legs at the joint, and to store them in sacks. Yet another check to collect vials of blood, if anyone is interested in calligraphy or spell scrolls. Maybe one or two more checks to remove non leg meat.
Eldrin might have some vials, and some extra sacks.
At the end of all the checks, if we are successful, 1x Large Boar Pelt 4x skins 4x boar legs 25-100 lbs of boar meat 4x vials of boar blood
That should take us 30-60 minutes if we all work together. Pulling all the parts off, and collecting the bones will take much longer and require all of our packs and probably more sacks than we have.
“Can DeDe carry sum of this?” Sniss gestures to the boar and looks mildly concerned on if they might lose some material
Erdon replies, "Dede is definitely able to strap some over their back with small sacks so not to drag on the ground. I have a bag of holding my friends that I have created from my artificer's infusions. It should care a nice portion of it for us."
"That's fine. We can handle the boar, now, and later, we can opt to battle the creature, should we decide to pursue that option."
Jason makes his way towards where the creature vanished, having his shield at the ready, and his spear, and takes up a watch.
"As a solider, I'm not one for finesse. I'd just hack it, and make a mess. I will stand guard, in case the creature regains some courage, or perhaps decides to be ornery, and thinks it can get some easy pickings from our boar."
"If my pack, or anything else, needs usage to help bring leftovers back to town, I can help with that, once the rest of it is packed up."

“Ats a solid ideas, I’ll stay by ya and make sure that nasty flappy stays far way from our lootz” sniss would walk over and prepare to fight in case the Cloaker wants to try anything
"It's always good to take a short rest, before a fight. If we have people ready that can keep it down, or better, keep it from getting airborn in the first place, I have a couple of smites ready, to make short work of it."
Jason brings up his shield and spear to the ready, scanning for any possible unseen attacks by any other creatures, looking for tracks.
"I don't have anything that can keep it down, but I can hit it even if its airborne." Edena states, looking around as well and finishing packing the boar. She has no need of a short rest, but is giving the others time for it. "I'll have to get an eye on it again, but after I can help track it easier as well, if it escapes again." She then takes off her backpack, and starts looking for a place to hide it. She is still wearing her quiver, shortswords, and longbow. Eventually she ties a rope to her pack and slings it up a tree, tying the rope around the tree at her eye level. "There, that should be away from bears and rodents." She then looks around, and begins helping anyone else where she can.

Attempting to set up some small talk “So… whos dis raven queen? Iz she bird lady? Why you say she gives me heals?Sniss is big confuse.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I think we are all thinking the same thing, we have taken a short rest and spent time carving up the giant boar carcass. Now it's time to enter the Cave.
Eldrin casts Mage Armor from a scroll and his Arcane Ward is now 6 hp.

"I'm a Paladin, who also has some Warlock skills. Warlocks have a variety of Patrons. Some are evil, like fiends. Some are good, like Celestials. Similar to Clerics, Paladins often have a deity. For some like me, there can be issues, because the patron and deity can be on opposite alignments, which causes problems for the person. Sometimes, a patron and deity may not want a person to 'split their attention.'
"Other times, one, or both, may show indifference, so the person can use the spells and abilities they're blessed with, but may not be able to have otherworldly guidance. Technically, I'm what some may call an 'Oathless Paladin,' although I am on a path of vengeance.'
"Some Warlocks get their powers from The Shadowfell, sort of a counterpart to the Feywild, in the sense that it was a reflection, or "echo", of the Prime Material Plane. Unlike the Feywild, it was a bleak, desolate place full of decay and death.
"Untold generations ago, she was originally a much beloved elf queen from the Feywild who witnessed the conflict between Corellon and Lolth. Worried that the dispute might tear the Seldarine asunder, she rallied her followers to perform a powerful ritual in order to become a deity, so she could have the leverage to appeal to the deities' senses. The ritual involved the offering of the queen's followers' souls and magic to add to her own power, enabling her to reach Arvandor. The followers, who called themselves shadar-kai, firmly believed that their queen was capable of reunifying the elven pantheon and the sundered elves.
"However, evil wizards among the queen's followers attempted to divert some of the energy from the ritual to amplify their own powers. The queen reacted by punishing the wizards with a burst of divine fury. This curse corrupted the ritual into a siphon that dragged the queen and her followers into the Shadowfell, where she was instantly killed. However, thanks to her recently acquired divine powers, the queen rose from the ashes and, in her growing madness and grief, transformed the wizards into wretched avian forms. Corellon and Lolth considered her actions to be treason, so they erased the memory of her existence from all elves. In order to avoid disappearing entirely, she drew memories of her existence from the Shadowfell itself in order to sustain her identity. The remains of the queen and the loose darkened memories gave rise to the entity that became known as the Raven Queen.
"So, she looks for champions, through the multiverse. To help sustain her, she craves memories, which comes most easiest from devotees. She can see threads of fate for some, and can see who could be best suited for this. Some of those who can be the best devotees are amongst the kidnapped. I am one of those, who can rescue these people, and bring them to be a devotee, which will help her maintain her identity."

"Between all of us we'll have enough space to carry all the goodies and head to the cave to deal with that blanket."
Most should go in the back of holding for meats and others can carry skins and such.
"Let's get to the cave then and be ready. Give your eyes time to adjust unless we're using light sources."

With the Boar carcass taken care of, we short rest in the time for anyone who needed it, then we march to the cave to confront the "Cave Monster"
Eldrin will stand in front, having mage armor still in effect, with 2 hours left.
We are all 10-30 feet from the entrance to the cave, and we try to see if the creature is hiding or wants to engage.
