Aidan calls out as the group approaches the carriage,
"By the sound of it, I suspect that we may be the ones you are waiting for."
As he reaches the carriage, Aidan holds open the door for the others.

Once outside, Lilliana glances around for the guard from earlier that claimed to have recognized her... Lilliana glances at the casual racism of the dwarf and with cool difference brushes passed him into the carriage. "Gael, I would take this cage to the one from which we just escaped. At least this one has a larger frame and the larger the frame, the weaker it is. Let us find our quarry and get our charges revoked. I for you, will be looking for a backup escape should they decide to ignore our agreement."
Once we’re all inside, Nate says quietly, “Now that we’re all alone, are we actually gonna believe the little gnome, or should we get goin’ while the goin’s good? If y’all want, we could probably find my old ship. She’s the fastest vessel in the skies.” Looking at the group size he comments, “Might need to get some more crew too.”
"You are certainly free to run like a dog with its tail tucked, but I can do no such thing,"Liana shrugs. She removes her mask before it can be seen by any regular civilians. "A villainous aarakocra is loose with aspirations of killing hundreds of thousands-" Liana leans forward and looks at everyone, "would that really be okay with you? Would it really be okay if you are captured again for running away and Aerovail topples while you are completely trapped? Personally, I find the very idea of running reprehensible."

"If there's even the slightest chance that I can be pardon for my crimes, then I will take that opportunity and make the best of it. If I run now, I'll be running for the rest of my days and I'm tired of running." She glances at Liana. "I have no personal responsibility to these people, but I would not want to see the innocent people be hurt by the decision they had no hand in making." She nods. "I am with you, Liana."
“Well I mean no offense to you Liana, but nowhere did I say we don’t kill that thing in my plan, because we do. I’m just asking if we believe that gnome or not, because capturin’ is a whole lot harder than killin’.” Nate looks hard at Liana. “And runnin’ ain’t a cowards way out if charging in gets people killed. And you don’t like it when that happens right?
"There is no need to be at each other's throats when we all have the city military on our necks."
Being one of the less reconizable members of the group, Aidan keeps his eyes out the carriage window.
"As to trusting the Commander to keep his word, he is one of the few that I would. That said, others under his command may not be so trustworthy, and having a backup plan should go without saying."
"Regardless though, this bird cannot be allowed to continue threatening so many lives."

"Y'all gonna keep chatting or give my a name. Ain't got all day to haul y'all around the city! Besides, I'm missing out on the rush hour here for these sticks here." The old dwarf grumbles as he spits at the ground before the guards. They fidget in place but don't make a move towards him, just shake their heads.
"I know some people that might be able to direct us to where she entered the city. Or perhaps who helped her get into the city." She pointedly ignores the dwarf, while speaking to her companions.

"Very true words, Aidan, but learning who helped her get in could also lead us to where she's laying low. It's been my experience that the people who can smuggle you in, can also put you to safe houses and those that are good at creating new identities. That said, if you all already know some of those places, then let us begin our search there perhaps.
"Very true, my dear Aidan," Liana nods. "I mean to cause no inter-group issues. Teamwork works best, however, I think the time to run will become more apparent, after all, we will probably know more about the situation than any guard..."
Liana listens to Aidan and Lilli and hums to herself in thought, "A smuggler's den, hm? I might know something about that, but, my contacts in Aerovail are mostly the commonfolk. There are people who might take in someone like the aarakocra unwittingly. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing."
(Virst, should I roll something to check or is there a list? Or did you want us to just make someone up and roll with it? Thankies!)

Aidan shakes his head slightly at Liana's suggestion.
"We don't have much time to work with, so we need to find the most likely contact and work out from there if needed."
He looks back to Nate.
"My only contacts would be a couple crews that work out of the industrial district, shipping supplies to surface communities. They may not like city politics, but the surface towns rely on many industrial supplies that they just can't produce yet. They would have little reason to want to crash the city. Are there any crews you know of with such inclinations?"

Nate says to the group, “Well if we’re doin’ this, I know a place most people from the shadier side of things go for a drink. If we want some information, we should go there. It’s called the Broken Wing.”
"Sure, we can hit that place up. Perhaps if I find a Red Hood there, I will see what they know..."Liana smiles at the dwarven driver, "Sorry for the wait, my good sir. We would like to head to the Broken Wing in..." and Liana says whatever district the joint is located in.

"Ah, the Broken Wing...could go for a cup or two, myself. Off we go to the poor district." The carriage juts forward as it makes it's way out of the castle and out of the noble district. You're back in the commoner's district but take a turn into a more shabby area. The carriage rocks more as it hits potholes and debris. But the people here are still lively, their clothes and appearance a bit worn but happy nonetheless. The road there is rather rough but not that long as it stops before a building with an old flag tied over it's sign. The building is rather large and filled with folks, filtering in and out. People of varying occupations go to and fro, some a bit suspicious and some very. Though you can hear a few shouts and cussing, the tavern is overflowing with shanties.
"Alright, I'll be at the bar, filling my quench. Find me there if y'all want to head somewhere else. Gotta stick with you all till you want to head back to the castle." The dwarf says as he hops down and pushes his way through the patrons.
@Nate
You recognize the flag to be one of the rare retired pirate crews. The flag is a red boar's skull, the tusks replaced with daggers. A rather odd flag but the crew themselves managed to buy their freedom and even have enough to happily retire. One of the crew settled here and opened this bar, Jack Trough. A dwarven man who's merry to all and loves to share stories about his time as a pirate.
@Liana
You spot a little kid, running and darting through the crowds. And you see a red scarf upon the little boy.
The bartender looks back and breaks out a large grin as he gives a laugh, "Hahah! For a dead man, you're looking quite well! Though can't say it's much different, the girlies will still be flocking to me. How about a drink to git rid of those worries, on the house." Jack fills a mug and slides it over to you, "So where's the crew? A few of you still got tabs to pay and story to tell. How the hell did you all manage to escape?"
