Kathleen watches as Flux keeps triggering the traps. She says with concern, "I don't think this is working. Maybe we should step back and try to figure this out before we keep getting sliced by the blades?"
Torrel listens to Bryn and having watched flux stands up and moves to the mosaic tiles and stops and kneels looking for seams . " I know you don't want to hear my voice, I will shut up after I ask a question of you Flux. did only the grass move when you pressed on it ? Where there seems at the edges of the sky and water .? "
Torrel I think you're onto something. The words in the riddle, air, earth, water and fire show up in the images. Try crossing only walking on the sky portion of the first mosaic. Bryn crosses his fingers and hopes he's right.
**OOC** Just wanted to say Hey to everyone, my gaming hours are limited .. 5:00 am for about 10 mins and 6:00 - 8:00 pm M-F .EST. and most anytime on the weekends.
the D&D phone app cant reach this forum ( unless I'm missing something ) I'm waiting for Flex to have a chance to roll before I advance in game play. and to allow others to make moves.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Do you want in thread or out of thread and put it in here?
I'll do this one in thread, but I've noticed that the thread dice have been a bit buggy lately, so just let me know what you want. I'm running my own campaign, and everyone either keeps rolling under 8s, or Nat20's, and idk if that'll happen here too.
Kathleen finally ask, "Does anyone have like a long stick or something like that? We can use it to check which part of it is safe and which part isn't. At least then, any damage done would be done to the stick."
Bryn slings his crossbow over his shoulder, checks his gear and steps onto the first panel, making sure to only walk on the air, sky tiles. If able then he'll continue, once he gets to the second tile he'll make sure to step on the earth, grass tiles. Again, if he's still alive and has both his feet, once he gets to the next panel he'll step onto the water, river tiles.
You move some rubble, but more falls down as it moves.
Not sure what section Flux is on but, Flux, stay on the blue sky part through the first section, see if that'll work?

OOC: what kind of check would I need to make to remember that?

Torrel hesitantly presses the tip of his Quarterstaff ( keeping himself back ) onto the Sky of the first mosaic.. " I hope we are right Bryn..*
Lets do a history check with advantage to remember a recent experience.
Nothing happens as you press the sky portion.

Alright, availability problem solved. I can now access the forums on my phone.
You remember that one of your feet was on the grass, but you don't remember which one or where your other foot was.
Kathleen finally ask, "Does anyone have like a long stick or something like that? We can use it to check which part of it is safe and which part isn't. At least then, any damage done would be done to the stick."
Also a question. How big across are the panels? I'm considering jumping over it with a Running Long Jump.
Torrel steps back away from the tiles . " Patients is not dwarfed strength I see." And starts to follow along. "Fire next boss. "
The panels total 20 ft. across.
Bryn walks across 3 panels without trouble.
Bryn looks back over his shoulder, da last one says something about fire right?
"Night sees shining, roaring fire, as wood and coals burn on the pyre" Kathleen repeats "Yeah it says something about fire."
Torrel follows along behind Bryn remaining a tile behind. Yes, fire 'pyre. Said twice.
