Now that Priscilla has returned, Jason addresses her, Persuasion 15 : Miss Priscilla? First, we appreciate the meal. As I was just speaking with your...associate? Horsch? Since we seem to be at a loss, about where were are, and you've been in this general land for some time, and we have provided some answers about how the road works, perhaps you can spare some people to sort as guides, and maybe answer some questions, as we go. I'm sure you have a few options to reconnect. We'll do our best to keep them safe. As Jasmine mentioned, we should have some more information, before charging off...especially with the possibilities of gods and goddess in our...quest."
"Yes, I'm sure that can be arranged." She relays the question to a male dragonborn, who promptly heads off to find someone. "I'll send Leoport with you. He's one of our best foresters, and will be a great help. He knows this land as well as anyone." Leoport has a scout statblock.
"Well done, Jason," Armeros remarked smoothly. "You’ve managed to acquire a—shall we say—skilled guide to accompany us. Quite the useful ally, this Leoport." He paused for a brief moment, his golden eyes flicking toward Priscilla and then back to Jason.
He gave a final nod toward Jason before turning his attention to Priscilla. "We are in your debt, Priscilla. Your generosity is most appreciated, and we shall do our utmost to ensure Leoport’s safe return." His smile was polite, though his mind was already working, plotting how best to use this new resource for the group’s benefit.

"Half..." The word catches in Jasmine's mind and she decides to ask, "Lady Priscilla, I don't mean to pry but you said we solved half your mystery. What is the other half? If you don't mind answering of course."
Priscilla just smiles. "We still need to find out how the road came to be, and why." She looks behind her and you notice a clean shaven young man approaching. He has dark hair, brown eyes, and is mostly wearing brown leathers. "I hear I'm to travel with you lot. My names Leaport. He reaches over to shake Jasmine's hand, being the closest." "Well. I'm afraid i must leave you now. I wish you good luck on your quest!" Priscilla swiftly leaves, heading over to talk again with the elders.
"So not even a HINT then? Ok...thanks...?" Taxidea shakes his head. "Well at least the food was good, right Remis?"

Jasmine will shake the man's hand. Her hand is cold to the touch and is rough thanks to being scaly.
Xondario agrees the group should travel the route they had been going, the roads Ability to change simply because one asked bothers him, perhaps ot was just a coincidence the road changed as the remark was made. "Your welcome to tag along Loeport, I hope you know what your getting into, how will you find the caravan whe n you wish to return?"
Leoport pulls out a palm size, glowing green stone. "This stone is hooked up with an identical one carried by Priscilla. Anytime I want, I can use it to come back."
"Yes, let's be on our way,"Armeros agrees, watching Leoport and eyeing the teleportation stone curiously. "How convenient!" He tries to recall if he has heard of such stones before, and specifically if they can be used by anyone or only the intended user. Arcana 9 -.-
As they head out, he takes his previous position near the back of the party.
Jasmine will take her position in the middle of the party, behind the front-liners and in front of the back-rank members. That way she can both defend them from rushing enemies and support the ones in front with spells and Eldritch Blasts.
Taxidea positions himself in the middle of the party, near Remis.

"Flynt Westaire." says Flynt as he grabs the brim of his hat and gives his head a slight nod in greeting to Leoport. He takes up a position along side the guide as the troupe leaves the path and begins to once again trek through the wood.
So I'm slightly confused. I know several of you don't think you should follow the path, but are you than just walking alongside it? It's going the direction you are, so I'm just wondering where you guys are walking.

Priscilla returns a polite smile.
"Of course. We are really just as much in your debt, for solving half of our mystery for us!"

"When one is far from home, finding a friend to show the way is good sense, Armeros. Glad to help the group."
Mentally his ears perk up, at the rapid fire of exchanges. How and why the road came to be? If it took them this long, to just find this..?
"Um, Ms. Priscilla?" he calls, rather loudly, "As the road flows to where you want to go...ask if it can take you to those who can help with answers!"
For now, Jason will make his way to a forward flank on the party, but will adjust, as needed, to where he can be the most use.
These stones in particular don't stand out in your memory, but wizards and sorcerers are always finding new ways to teleport.

((?? I thought we were following the path? ))
Oh, ok. My bad.
And you guys are heading straight for the tower, or looking for a town first?
