Over in the IC thread, I don’t mind if a little OOC creeps in at the end of an IC post (particularly if you are clarifying an action or game effect or something).
If the entirety of the post is OOC, though, then this is the place for this OOC conversations.

So that was round one now we continue inititive round two? So Navrine is up? All I have a bad feeling about this fight one person is down already I have like 6 hp due to the trap. well I giuess its a good day to die.
I will post, as i dont want to hold anyone up. Not sure the 12 will hit or not :(
24 damage from the swarm! That is impressive even for a crit. Quite scary at level 1, that would have instantly killed Doc or Navrine, which is why they tend to stay out of melee. If Chromir survives this, he has a new hatred for all spiders now. No matter how big or small they are.
Cassian struck the swarm of spiders with a sap weapon as part of the paladin's readied action.
This meant that the swarm would have had disadvantage on its next attack (the attack which, incidentally, originally rolled a nat 20 to drop the barbarian).
I rerolled the attack and got a 19 ... so it is still a hit ... but not a critical.
Handwavium inbound.
Instead of a critical hit that did 24hp damage (which was reduced to 12hp due to Chromir's Rage), the attack will instead deal 12hp (which will be reduced to 6hp due to Chromir's Rage).
Doc really needs to acquire better weapons and some extra ranged options besides the spear^^

There are/were only two. The trapped section of hallway was 10 feet long, comprised of two 5 foot squares end-to-end.
Chromir disabled the first, and Navrine disarmed the second.
Oh, ok.
I’d like to use this thread for the OOC comments.

Yes, and yes. Although there is no need to make posts solely in init order.
Even if Navrine did not have the highest init, it would still be appropriate to declare actions for round two.
After each player gets a chance to do so, then I'll make another post and sum up the round.
Hang in there! Characters dropping to 0hp remaining is not the end of the game.
The dodge action is always an option -.-;; Cass has two spell slots, so two smites.
Oh, did his reaction longsword attack put sap on the swarm? It has disadvantage on its next attack roll if so.

That is an excellent point. I believe Cas just took the critical hit out of play!
Alright gang, update to the update.

Leaves him on 1hp!

Nice!
Oh wait, I also forgot about my stone's endurance reaction. He reduces the damage by 9 (and therefore doesn't take anything) so is still on 7hp!

I think it's about to get very messy for the spiders!
I was tempted to drop rage so I could poison spray them. But I want to keep my damage resistance.

EDIT — Please disregard.
I don't believe I can reach with my greataxe due to the webbing being difficult terrain. I have updated my post

Cool, cool. Thanks for everyone hanging in there for the crazy edits and re-edits.
I totally forgot about the weapon mastery properties (and in this instance it quite literally turned the tide of battle).
