Stuck on the road for Sun/Mon, gang. I will only have my tablet with me which is not ideal to do the typing I would need to do when I format/post the round summary.
As much as is possible, I would like to use the roller located on your character sheets.
I find that the in-thread dice rolling function is a bit too wonky/glitchy for my taste. The dice & modifiers rolled displayed in the mouseover rarely agree with the result that is posted in the thread.
That's fair^^ Will try to remember to use the sheet roller.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"grandpa" Salkur, Gnome Arti/Sorc: Forged in Chaos | Pepin, Human Arti/Cleric: Goblin horde | Mixtli, Volc Genasi Arti: Champions of the Citadel | Erix Vadalitis, Human Druid: Rising from the last war |Smithy, Human Arti: Night Ravens: Black orchids for Biscotti | Tamphalic Aliprax, Dragonborn Wizard: Chronicles of the Accursed | Doc, Dwarven Cleric (2024): Adventure at Hope's End | Abathax, Tiefling Illriger: Hunt for the Balowang | Gorin Mestel, Human Arti: Descend into Avernus
No worries, I know folks aren't re-rolling to cheat and get better results or anything (as that triggers and displays a warning banner on the message).
But the macro that displays the dice on the mouseover is very hit or miss. Sometimes you ask it to roll 1d20+2, and it says you tried to roll 1d12+3 or something. Very glitchy. It makes it difficult to ensure you used the correct modifiers on the roll.
The rolling function within the character sheets is much less wonky, and the rolls made there are also logged on the campaign page (which makes for an easy place to keep track of them).
7 slashing damage (the sheet dice roller won't give an option to not include the Str modifier so is higher than actual by 2)
The correction should have been 4 instead of 2.
I missed this when I summed up the round. The damage, after being adjusted, should have been 5 (in other words, just the result of the roll with no modifiers).
Moving forward, whenever Chromir uses the cleave weapon mastery property, feel free to just roll a straight d12 for the damage. It will reduce the chances of making an error when taking out any unneeded modifiers.
Are the die rollers in DnD beyond not working I cant seem to make an attack this morning? I will check a different character sheet and see if its Just Navrine or all of my characters.

Would it not include the rage damage (+2) as that isn't an ability modifier? I don't mind either way, and I'm happy to roll a d12 regardless and just add rage damage manually if applicable
I forgot to add bless for that last round. Didn't need it luckily. Unfortunately the rats placed themselves in such a way that chromir can't hit both with one swing. I'll wait until the morning before posting as he's last and I want to see positioning of people first (and I'm about to sleep)
In that last round, folks got a little too far ahead of themselves with their posted actions, and then a series of follow-on posted actions. It all worked out okay this time because nothing really crazy happened during the DM summary of the first series of actions. In other words, nothing that would have changed folks' minds on what they would like to do.
Moving forward though, please let me sum up the previously posted actions before folks post what next series of actions they would like to take.
Yes I agree I'm just following you though Chromir is probably going down that path following rats. I guess we wait to see which way Chromir actually went?
Well untill i know which way Cromir went I dont really know Which way I saw Him go. He was going prior to the DM stating there was a left or right option.
Ok done, Edited the post to include my turn when it comes. Movement, action, bonus action done :) I'll get the hang of it :)

That's a very good point. I reread the sections on Rage and Cleave and you are absolutely correct.

Sounds like the right passage is trapped.

Can Navrine mention what she heard/saw through the crack so Cass knows it? He'll stop following if Chromir is going that way.

I mean this part:
The faint sound of scurrying claws could be heard down rightmost corridor ... but then a heavy, wet, slashing sound greeted the adventurer's ears.
THWISHH!
Both of the warriors were experienced enough to recognize the sound of a large blade sinking heavily into flesh!
