Realizing the insane lizardman who obviously was a terrible animal trainer, was running away, Navrine quickly ran through the rough terrain using half movement of 20 feet flanking the Cockatrice. Using the same non-lethal approach strikes out at the little devil trying to knock it out rather than kill it out right. “We have to support Stone feather, let me try and knock this devilish monstrosity unconscious so it doesn't turn us to stone!”Navrine lashes out with controlled unarmed strikes to attempt to subdue the horrid little beast.
Movement: 20’ (difficult terrain) Should be able to flank C2. Action: unarmed strike, (1, +5) 6 for a miss. Bonus Action: unarmed strike, (14 +5) 19 to hit if it hits 5 points of non-lethal bludgeoning damage.
Cassian nods. "Yes, let's knock it out and get m-moving!" He aims at the cockatrice with a non-lethal swing of his blade. He will then lay a hand on Navrine to bolster her health for the battle ahead.
Action: Longsword to hit on cockatrice 12, damage 8 non-lethal slashing
After completely missing that first attack on that horrid little beast, Navrine felt her self-doubt rising, then the pain of her wounds easing a bit, as she felt the warm healing glow course though her. “Thanks Cassian, Sorry I missed that horrid little beast!”
The shambling mound reared up, its hulking form towering over the bog. With a thunderous roar, it brought down two of its massive, vine-like limbs upon one of the summoned crocodiles.
It was too much for the summoned crocodile, its form dissipating into a cloud of mist ... the summoning magic allowing retreat back to wherever it was that it had been called from.
On the periphery of the chaos, the last remaining cockatrice flapped its wings frantically, squawking in terror as it flew away into the dense swamp. The final bogman, battered and demoralized, followed suit, hopping clumsily into the muck.
The paladin laid a gauntleted hand on Navrine's shoulder, channeling the last of his divine power to heal her wounds.
Meanwhile, Doc and the Frog Prince continued their bitter duel. The cleric swung his warhammer with all his might, but the wily amphibian leapt clear, croaking a guttural laugh. Seizing the opening, the Frog Prince lunged forward, its slimy jaws clamping down on Doc’s arm with surprising strength, its mocking voice echoed across the battlefield.

The tide of battle shifted as Navrine and Doc turned their full attention to the Frog Prince. Navrine darted in with precision strikes. Doc followed up with a crushing swing of his warhammer, the weapon striking true and caving in the Frog Prince's chest.
The vile creature let out a final, gurgling croak before collapsing into the mud, its reign of cruelty ended.
Across the bog, Cassian sprinted through the trampled cattails, the swampy ground sucking at his boots. As he reached the massive crocodile that was Stone Feather’s shape-shifted form, the paladin leapt onto its scaled back! The lizardfolk shaman, understanding Cassian’s intent, surged forward, bore the paladin toward the shambling mound.
Together, rider and mount presented a formidable sight, their combined might directed at the monstrous foe.
The terrible plant beast showed no signs of relenting. Its massive, vine-wrapped limbs slammed into the nearest crocodile with devastating force, reducing another one of the summoned beasts to a dispersing mist.
Though only one enemy remained, the heroes knew the battle was far from over. The towering shambling mound loomed overhead — death incarnate — its every movement filled with primal malice.

Cassian clings tightly to the back of the crocodile as it surges through the muck, a part of him marveling at the thrill of riding such a fearsome creature. But that wonder is quickly forgotten as they near the Shambling Mound. The monstrosity’s hulking form radiates malice. He swings his blade at the writhing vines, but his inexperience with mounted combat shines through as he misses completely.
Navrine smiles as she sees Cassian jumping on Stonefeathers shapeshifted form and tells Doc “I guess we should give Cassian the title ‘Beast Rider’ from now on!”Jumping down the hillock she charges toward the shambling mound. At the end of her moment she does a flying scissor kick at the large mound of vegetation.

The heroes rallied! Each of them striking at the towering Shambling Mound.
Navrine darted in, her powerful kick connecting with a tangle of vines, causing the creature to lurch. Chromir, roaring in fury, brought his greataxe down in a brutal arc, slicing through the dense mass of vegetation. Doc followed suit, hurling a javelin that buried itself deep within the creature’s writhing form. Each blow tore through the Shambling Mound, weakening it.
Cassian, still astride Stone Feather in his crocodile form, swung his longsword with all his might, but the strike glanced off the mound’s tough, shifting surface.
The Shambling Mound lashed out with a pair of vine-like appendages, aiming to crush Stone Feather beneath its tremendous strength. Cassian’s shield, however, was interposed it just in time ... deflecting the pair of deadly blows!
Stone Feather, undeterred in his crocodilian form, lunged forward. His powerful jaws clamped down around the Shambling Mound, teeth sinking into the writhing vegetation. With a mighty twist of his neck, the lizardfolk shaman restrained the creature, pinning it in place. The Shambling Mound struggled against the crushing grip, but the crocodile’s strength held firm, leaving it vulnerable to the heroes’ next assault.

Successfully deflecting the massive monstrosity's blows sends a surge of relief through Cassian. Seeing the SM restrained in Stone Feather's jaws, he strikes again with renewed confidence.
"Keep it up! We can do this!"
