You were never meant to walk with the darkness, or to treat the abyss like glass. But we find ways to scold the darkness, to put chains on our troubles even if it means caging nature. But try to hard, and you'll be seeing more than lights in the afterlife - assuming you go to one. Because a soul clinging to an object will keep clinging forever, until destroyed or removed, and to remove it is taking the child's doll; it ends with only suffering. But do it properly, and it is like replacing a child's doll with another, giving the item magic as you take out the spirit. This needs powerful magic and perhaps some necromancy to pull it out, but the item has no more need of clinging.

Sky is this thing on the material plane, it's just air and space above you that appears blue. But at lights out, the fiery orb of the sky falls and plunges the world into darkness with tiny dots of light. Give it 12 hours and it is light again. Yes, there are many other worlds.

You then find a book listing basic descriptions on every plane. [I won't say exactly what it said, but it gives basic descriptions]

Thrudor closes the book with his head spinning he finds a seat on the third floor. There is a material plane....a world that is the main world of all the worlds and existences....He takes out the book from floor 2, the druidic book, and begins to page through it trying to connect the dots between all the books on other worlds.

Connecting the dots is tough, but you manage to find out how it works. The center plane is the material plane, with a feywild and shadowfell layered onto it. Then there are the elemental planes, and your on the earth plane, and finally a ton of outer planes around that.

Clapper grabs his bag, heads back to the tavern and goes straight to bed. It's been a long day! (Long rest?)
In the morning, he'll pay for another days stay, (I assume that's ho this works? I need an amount to pay though.)
and try to find the barmaid from before and ask for more details on this wizards tower, including where to find it.
If she cautions him on staying away again, he'll asks if she knows of anyone he could pay to help train him, wether in martial or magic arts, in case he ends up fighting the feller. Or maybe somewhere he can fight, to practice?

Her reply is "Please tell me you're not considering it again. A vampire lives in that tower. I mean, maybe if you let him bite you for free he'll let you talk, but that could kill you and he might not let you leave anyway." She thinks for a moment. "Unless you find out his weaknesses. He has some of the usual ones like taking a stake in the heart or running water, but vampires also have unique weaknesses. I heard he has no silver weakness like some others, but that he hates mirrors."

(I am guessing in Thrudor's time it is evening-ish...so maybe he heads to find a place to stay)

Thrudor not really fond of staying in Inns/taverns and such decides it's probably best for him to do so with having to visit a tower to talk about helping the farm. He goes to the tavern and gets a room for the night. He wakes early the next AM and grabs a little food.

With your passive perception, you notice a dog with its front paws on the window, watching you closely. It's a husky breed.

Thrudor sits and finishes his breakfast, while casting (ritually) speak with animals. He approaches the dog with his hand out and a little piece of food from his breakfast "Hello there. What is your name?"

Clapper heads back to his room and pulls out Zernia.
"I'll admit. This Vampire fella seems pretty dreadful. I could probably do everyone around her a service if I got rid of him, but I doubt i can manage that. At least right now.
I remember something about an arena or something, I wonder where that it?"
Clapper will go back to the maid.
"Hi, sorry to bother you again. But I heard something about an arena, where maybe I could train, or practice. Any idea where that would be?
Also, since i haven't done this yet, hi. My name is clapper. You?"

"Call me Raiden." The dog snatches and eats the piece of food. "And you are..."

"That's the blood circle, center of town."

Clapper will go there.

Whisper considers trying to sneak past the spider for a moment before sighing. Whatever is in there may be too powerful for her alone. She instead heads toward the city.

The Blood Circle is a large arena of sand with big crowds watching on rows of seats. There are 4 spaces to fight. There are a couple people waiting for a fight, some with hollow wooden training weapons and others real ones.
