OOC: Does Tyrus know of the Knights of Samular? History: 4
The Knights of Samular were an order of paladins in the service of Tyrwho tended to focus on the supremacy of law. They were a well-respected order in the Northlandswith their base of operations in the Summit Hall while also maintaining a base in Waterdeep.Formed in 952 DR after the Second Troll War, the Knights of Samular traced their roots to three brothers who became champions of the war, Samular Caradoon, Renwick Caradoon, and Amphail the Just. While successfully stopping the siege of trollsthrough the use of the Rings of Samular and the magical siege engine known as the Kezefbane, Amphail and Renwick were killed around the end of the war(though the latter would become an archlich entombed at the Sumber Hills). The invading trolls were eventually routed by Samular and his growing group of Tyrran paladins. These knights would eventually come to be known as the Knights of Samular.
After routing the warlord Brunyundar Margaster from the keep, the knights made Thornhold as their chapterhouse. The Knights lost their headquarters to the Zhentarim thanks to the treachery of Dag Zoreth. The keep was then confiscated by Bronwyn Caradoon, who took up residence with her niece. This resulted in a breakdown of relations between the Knights of Samular and the Harpers. After their initial loss of the keep, the Knights of Samular were based out of Summit Hall.
Their symbol is a shield in the shape of fire with a red background. On that background is fire with an upright sword in the center of the fire.

The half-orc continues to strike poses and flexes his muscles to the inspecting guards as he asks questions.
"Thagakh wants to know *Harumph* if you guys know *Uhumph* anything useful *Hurah* against vampires and such *Ahumph*?"

"Thagakh have a few items to trade, let me check for a second."
The topless half-orc rummages through his belongings.
"Thagakh is willing to trade 59 crossbow bolts with 3 cases included, a hand crossbow and a heavy crossbow.
Thagakh also wants to know if you have magic items to sell."

Thagakh dons his armor as he speaks with the dwarf.
"That's a big drop of number, from 500 to 20. Thagakh is amazed there are still people left around guarding this city.
During Thagakh's time as a soldier, if a battalion is reduced to that, it means things are pretty bad, if not worst.
Thagakh's suggestion is to leave the place and come back with reinforcements."
