"It'll do." He places a packet on the counter. It is filled with maps and parchments. "This holds all the information already known about this quest." He shakes his head. "Don't worry, we have copies. Good luck on your first quest; and remember, they are always harder then we think they are."
Kizori nods, picking up the packet and heading for the door. He walks back towards the Grinning Wagon to pick up his horse and wagon loaner, read the packet all the while.
The map shows you the direction to the homestead, a marking of last known location, and known dangers of the area. The parchments detail the man's name and the name of his concerned neighbor, as well as various other bits of information.
Kizori takes his pack from his side, his large shell making it difficult to sling it across his back. His places the packet in his pack, and replaces it on his side. He was going to have to sit down and come up with a better method for carrying it. He stops once he reaches the Grinning Wagon, and delights in the different style of wagons, before going to find the salesmen once more.
It takes only a moment before you see him almost twirling around the shop floor, moving customer to customer, ensuring that everything is okay. During one of his twirls away, he catches sight of you and the next spin is in your direction.
"My good friend, I don't recall the name, I am pleased to see you back; did you need to purchase further wares?"
"No, I am on my way to help find a lost man. I am sure I can track him. I just wanted to pick up that horse and wagon you promised. Be faster than walking I suspect." Kizori smiles at him, lightly amused with his dancing.
"But of course." He claps his hands and a pair of young stable hands appear. "Take our friend to a suitable temporary wagon."
The boys lead you to a pretty nice wagon, the horse is nice as well. They then stand tall and together state; "Please remember to inform Grinning Wagon when your rank increases for special benefits and rewards.". You can tell they rehearsed that, it was quite cute.
Several minutes of instructions later and you are officially on your way. The forest slowly gives way to massive plains; larger than you once thought possible to be in this area.
Noway Blackwulff enters the town. Following the directions from an adventurer he meet earlier, Blackwulff headed toward the adventurers guild. He looked at the shops he passed along the way.
It was not long before Blackwulff reached his destination. He entered the two story, walked until he caught glimpse of the lodge sign and stepped in.
Unfortunately Blackwulff did not get a name.”Hello I am Noway Blackwulff,I seek the one in charge of the work.”
A cough loud enough to be heard over the roar of the crowd comes from an elder but sturdy looking man behind a counter; he motions for you to come over to him.
"Freelance former soldiers are always welcomed here." He motions to the many walls around the room, covered with pinned parchments. "And you are surrounded by work."
Pulling out a check list he says. "Are you independent or were you sent here by a local business?"
He makes two checks. "That completes it; now see what mission calls you." He places the parchment somewhere to dry. "The walls are organized by environment type, don't remove the quest, just come back to me and describe it's attached description." He hands you a large metal key with 10 etched into it.
"You are officially a Rank E member of the Lodge; do not attempt missions above your rank, without the appropriate group size and ranks, and always ask if someone is already on a mission. E's are on the second floor; you'll be comfortable."

Kizori takes the pin and places it on the parchment, then returns to Larn. "Like that?"
"It'll do." He places a packet on the counter. It is filled with maps and parchments. "This holds all the information already known about this quest." He shakes his head. "Don't worry, we have copies. Good luck on your first quest; and remember, they are always harder then we think they are."

Kizori holds back a grin and laugh, "Thank you friends." He looks at the wagon and then back at the boys, "Uh... Would you show me how this works?"

A cough loud enough to be heard over the roar of the crowd comes from an elder but sturdy looking man behind a counter; he motions for you to come over to him.
Blackwulff walks over to the gentlemen,” I was told there may be work here. “
Blackwulff looked around the room.” I’m a soldier, was a soldier now I’m freelance.”
"Freelance former soldiers are always welcomed here." He motions to the many walls around the room, covered with pinned parchments. "And you are surrounded by work."
Pulling out a check list he says. "Are you independent or were you sent here by a local business?"
Blackwulff gives a smile,” alright I’m ready. What do I need to do first? Looks like I got a lot to do.”
"I'm going to take it your independent." He makes a check. "Do you have housing or funds for housing?"
“Yes I’m independent.” Blackwulff scratches his chin,” No I have no housing, I usually sleep where ever.”
Another check. "Housing will be provided and deducted from you earnings." He redips his quill. "Do you have gear or do you need gear rental?"
(I have gear from my background and class not sure if that was something we where supposed to do.)
”I have gear,but if I find I need something for a quest I don’t have I’ll let you know.”
Blackwulff ponders for a moment,” I don’t have a horse or anything to that effect.”
(Yeah, start with gear and gold.)
He makes two checks. "That completes it; now see what mission calls you." He places the parchment somewhere to dry.
