"I am." Kizori is still intently examining the supports, but turns his attention back to the human. "Would you tell me about horse's? My mother and father only recanted little, but seeing one in person, I'd love to know more. Maybe I'll buy a horse in town.'
"You might be better off buying a wagon." He says as he steps back and motions for you to enter and be seated. The two of you talk long into the day; about horses, building construction, the general livelihood of people in the area. Growing up on a farm has taught him many interesting and useful things. You also find out that he had heard stories of your people when he was a child.
After some time he treats you to the baked goods he began making when you met. When he returns with the tray, he asks; "So, why are you checking up on people? What is your end goal? I've always wondered this about the Tortle."
"We like to learn. One day, I'll get the urge to mate. When I am old and dying. I will find a mate and together we will build a hatchery. There we will raise our litter, and we will teach them everything we can, and then pass into death." Kizori smiles deeply, as if speaking of a life worth living. "And, I get to have adventures. I get to see the world, and learn." He takes a treat from the tray, savoring it as he devours it.
"As far as checking in, well I have hesrd stories of the area, of it's people, and I wanted to see it for myself. Not sure where I am going yet, but I'll get there one day." Kizori takes a gold piece from his purse laced onto the strap of his pack. He places it on the table, as he stands, "I must be off now! I have to see about a wagon!" He strides to the door. "I will come back sometime and see you my friend!"
Before you stand you hear Jimi say; "That sounds like a wonderful life." As you begin to leave you hear him say; "The town is just a mile down the road. Wagon shop is on the main road, can't miss it."
As you start heading away, he steps outside and calls out; "Until we meet again... Friend!" He stands on his porch waiving farewell; and even the horse seems pleased by your visit.
As you travel down the road, it slowly looks more and more like a an actual road; as you begin passing houses. You hear the commotion of the town ahead; and can already see people and wagons moving about. It seems small, maybe a few hundred people, but its all new to you.
You encounter a mix of surprise, wonder, and even fear from the villagers. All don't know exactly what you are; though a number could hazard a guess. They clear way as you stride up to a large building surrounded by wagons.
He examines every wagon intently, checking their structural soundness, and how they are built. "Now which one would be best for an adventure?" He ponders aloud to himself.
"Adventuring huh? A big guy like you will need a strong and sturdy one, come with me." The thin and overeager gentleman before you appears to be guiding you deeper inside the shop. "Now take a look at this one, isn't she a beauty? Made of pure bloodwood; now I know what your thinking, but don't worry, that's just what its called. Some people like to use it's softer name of satine, but I always liked the name bloodwood, know what I mean? It's more dangerous. And your an adventurer, its perfect for you. It's only 350 gold, but for you, I'll give you the adventurer's bonus; 50 gold right off the top. Just 300 gold, shall we call it a deal?" The wagon looks beautiful and is a warm red color.
Kizori smiles deeply at the man, "I'm afraid I don't have that much. Do you need any help building anything? I am very good with my hands." He lifts them up and shows them to the man. "I am also good at tracking people, and animals."
"You know." He smiles widely. "I know just what you are looking for." Somehow, his smile gets even wider. "There is a tavern up this side road." He says, motioning towards the road running along the right side of the building. "And in this tavern is an adventurers board, where different quest come in and adventurers complete them and get paid. We will be willing to cover your first month food and board if you sign this document..." A fully covered parchment of writing is pulled from inside his vest. "...stating that after that month you will begin paying towards the ownership of the bloodwood wagon in amounts no less than 10 gold a month. Failure to do so will put you indebted to the Grinning Wagon to the sum of the expenses of that month of provided housing plus 20 gold. During this time, adequate wagon and horse will be provided until the bloodwood wagon becomes under full ownership of the signed party. i. e. You."
He takes a breath. "Do you agree to the terms I have provided?"
Kizori seems lost in thought for a moment, before asking, "May I make larger payments? To pay it off sooner? I don't like to sit in one place too long."
He sets the parchment so that the ink can dry, and pulls out a small thin piece of wood, with Grinning Wagon etched into it. "Give this to Larn. You'll know the place."
You past many shops, markets, and people of many races. This village likely has another hundred more people than you first thought. You know the tavern on sight, a massive two story stone building painted blue. The paint is pealing, but that doesn't lose it any of the charm.
Surrounding the building are what could only be described as adventurers. There are weapons and armors and clothing of all kinds. Most of them are funneled through a large, doorless, stone opening.
Kizori is very impressed with the layout of the building, even the peeling paint. He exclaims, "It's beautiful!" As he begins examining the construction. After a few minutes lost in thought, he turns to the others nearby, "Greetings fellows! Are you here searching for adventure as well?"
You notice that a few people watch you as you approach, but most lose interest when you begin examining the building's structure. It is very solid; likely to survive an attack, especially with all these people around. Upon close examination you find that the outer wall appears to be a mixture of small stones and gravel, somehow cemented together into a kind of protective barrier around the tavern; kind of like mud, but made out of stone instead of dirt.
A group is nearby, all of whom are wearing the symbol of the tavern; a swan with its wings spread wide in preparation of flight. As you turn towards them and ask about adventure, a strong looking human female steps forward. "Greetings, all new adventurers should see Larn first. Welcome to the adventure; stay safe." Her and her several companions step aside, revealing the almost funnel like flow of people entering and leaving. Above the entryway is the symbol of the tavern again, over the simple word of 'Lodge'.
There is a physical push as the flow pulls you forward. The room is open and full of boards covered with parchments. Several of which have stamps stating 'Completed' and a person or team name written underneath. Many of the parchments are unstamped. To the far left is a large bar, massive even, with a stairway between it and this room. Standing at a counter next to the stairs is a tall lean older gentleman with long gray hair.

Kizori seems lost in thought for a moment, before asking, "May I make larger payments? To pay it off sooner? I don't like to sit in one place too long."
"Why of course, just sign here." A wetted quill is suddenly in your hand.
Kizori thinks on it again, "Sure. Let's do it." He signs the form, and hands the quill back to the man.
He sets the parchment so that the ink can dry, and pulls out a small thin piece of wood, with Grinning Wagon etched into it. "Give this to Larn. You'll know the place."
Kizori nods, and begins his treck up the road towards the tavern he was directed at.

"This way then?" Kizori less asks, and more states, as he follows the flow of adventurers into the tavern.
