Kizori nods. "I have already explored the depths of the forest nearby, I am ready for sights yet seen." He motions at his gear, "I am equipped and ready to start."
He smiles. "Thank you, of course." He hands you a large metal key with 18 etched into it. "You are officially a Rank E member of the Lodge; do not attempt missions above your rank, without the appropriate group size and ranks, and always ask if someone is already on a mission. E's are on the second floor; you'll be comfortable."
He sees another young face wandering towards him and politely asks you to step aside. You are now facing both the stairs and the bar. What do you do?
You reach the top of the stairs and a long hall leading to rows of rooms lays before you. The halls and opened rooms appear to house several inexperienced young people, seeking adventure.
Upon finding your room, you unlock it and head in. The bed looks like fresh soft hay covered by a thick bedding and blanket. There is also a dresser, with about as much room as your backpack. Thankfully there is a section for a bathroom, fully stocked.
Kizori takes a deep breath, and relishs the idea of living as other adventurers do. Then he lays down to rest, as it has been a while since he last slept.
It is night by the time you wake, the general roar of activity continues to come from the rooms below. You rise and stretch, ready to meet your fellow adventurers and begin your first journey.
The first quest you come to is an E rank mission to find any information regarding the location of a missing person. They went missing after trying to track down a wild boar near his homestead.
Larn speaks up from his desk. "No removing quest; we don't want them to get lost, do we?"
He waves you over. "You start by walking over here and describing the quest." He smiles at you like this isn't the first time it's happened, but he always finds it funny.
Kizori explains the quest, noting his humor at the situation, and also finding it funny himself. "I am to track someone down, who was lost searching for a boar. Tracking is in my blood, I can do this one no problem."
He hands you a small pendant. It says, 'Active'. "Place this on the pin for the quest, and when you return I shall have the details for you." You begin to notice several active pendants all over the walls.

Kizori cheerfully approaches the older man, raising a hand in greeting, "Where may I find Larn? I'm eager to begin adventuring."
In a smooth aged voice the man replies; "A Tortle, I haven't seen one of you in years. I am Larn, do you wish to join?"
Kizori nods. "I have already explored the depths of the forest nearby, I am ready for sights yet seen." He motions at his gear, "I am equipped and ready to start."
"Wonderful, welcome to the guild. Are you independent or were you sent here by a local business?" Larn asks while pulling out a check list.
"Indebt to the Grinning Wagon, sir.", Kizori shifts slightly, seemingly uncomfortable being tied down.
"Ah, yes. Do you have the card?" He asks politely.
Kizori fishes the card from his purse, and hands the etched wooden card to Larn, "I believe this is what you're looking for.
He smiles. "Thank you, of course." He hands you a large metal key with 18 etched into it. Kizori smiles and heads for the stairs. He needed to examine his room, and maybe even rearrange the furniture. He was bristling with excitement.

Kizori checks himself over before heading back down the stairs. He stops at the board and begins pouring over the quests.
It seems like the boards are separated by environments, from plains, to urban, to forest, etc. Which did do you go to first?
"Let's go to the plains first." Kizori takes a rank E notice from the board and reads over it.
