As an action, you can withdraw into your shell to gain a +4 bonus to AC and advantage on STR and CON saving throws. While in your shell, you are prone, your speed is 0, you have disadvantage on DEX saving throws, and you can't take reactions. You can emerge from your shell as a bonus action.
Aka'ula, injured by the fall, retracts into his shell!
Jakob waits to hear how the beast responds to Mikhael's attempt to speak with it.
The rage drake is locked in on its first target, Galorash! Charging, it attempts to rake its two claws across the gnome!
(Attack: 19 Damage: 6)
(Attack: 16 Damage: 4)
Both claws hit! Galorash is bloodied, but still up and running!
Mikhael attempts to communicate with the beast: "Pok, Charir Darss, Ya Tuor Renthisj." The beast seems to understand but not care, roaring with rage at Mikhael!
(Medskan, Kalman, Galorash and Balin are up; for Kalman, the drake is within sight for crossbow attack.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC Having used disengage as a Cunning action (bonus), am I able to get away just far enough to turn to throw his daggers at the drake at the end of the turn or is his move taken this round? He wants to be clear enough to have the Drake's attack on others, but close enough to hit effectively if rolls allow.
Dagger 1 : Attack - 18 Damage - 5
Dagger 2 : Attack - 25 Damage - 4
If he is unable to do this but still apply medicine skill to his severe injury he will do so - 4 and upon next opportunity ready his daggers.
Mispost. Waiting for the beast to come into view from my vantage point up top.

Aka'ula and Jakob get to go before the Rage Drake.
Jakob hears Mikhael attempt to communicate with the beast. Jakob grunts frustrated and carefully watched the beast.
I am holding Jakob's turn until the beast looks like it is about to attack one of us. Then I'll strike.

Hoping that being the first to see the thing might give me some sort of advantage on my action? Otherwise I won't need to lead it anywhere.
I'll give you advantage on initiative since you did see the drake before the rest of the party, roll it again.
5 Initiative
<cry> but he doesn't, I think I like my first roll better
Also holding til the beast attacks

Galorash rushes away from the drake, then throws two daggers at it! One is deflected by the beast's tough hide, but the other hits home!
(Aka'ula and Jakob are up next, followed by the rage drake.)
