Chandra reappears.  "Surely we can resolve this without calling the guards," she says to the man in the doorway.  "We were let in here by someone who said he had a right to be here.  Clearly this is all just a misunderstanding."

Ixalin - You peer into the mind of the man out the window, his thoughts are about gaining favour with the Hunter's Guild, he is an employee of the Guild much like Ashlee although he doesnt seem to recognize him. When you mention that you know his secrets he fears that you know he's been stealing from his employer for years.

Chandra - Id say you're not deceiving him because you we're let in by someone who had a right to be there, so ill go with your persuasion roll. He says "Wait, do you all work for the guild too? What are you all doing in here?"

Tonk - Give me a History check,  actually anyone who thinks their character has lived here for some length of time roll it too,

     "That's what we're trying to figure out, but you and the jester can't manage to sit still long enough." The dwarf releases his vice-like grip on Tonk's neck, and takes a calming breath. "Now, in the interest of mutual self-preservation...," he pauses at the (likely) blank stare from the goblin at his choice of words, "...since we're all trying to keep our necks, why don't we try to get a plan of action?" He gives the goblin a smack on its rear with the flat of his axe, ushering him to the front door. "Once we're out of harm's way, then maybe you can find some more rocks to chase."

Ixalin leans over to Chandra and whispers what he learned in her ear. He feels like she may be better suited to talk them out of this mess.

Garliq knows that the Hunter's Guild is a big deal in Oakharbour, more than just hunters. They started out as a small group when the town was formed just over 100 years ago but branched out into different sectors as the money rolled in.  They own a lot of real estate in Oakharbour and have their fingers in a lot of pies. 

Tonk does not know this info.

"Tonk sorry for window, Tonk has bad aim" he snickers to himself while trying to look innocent and mutters to himself "Or good aim" he holds out his rock "Here take rock jingly lady say worth ten million coins! You fix Tonk accident! Cap'n will be so proud of me for fixing Tonk's problem this time!"

     "Oh, hells...did someone say sumthin' about the Hunter's Guild?" Gairlik says returning to the main room. "They got lots of pull over many things in town." He turns to Ahslee, "Do you for the The Guild?"

 For some reason i read the beginning in my head like "Ahh Hell Naw.. as if you were Will smith now, and now i can only read your voice like that.

Ashlee says "Umm Yes.." he roots around in his little bag and pulls out a metal pin with an HG logo with a little arrow through the letters, "See, we're here to assess the building's infrastructure, the rock through the window was an accident, everything's fine"

The man says "Oh, sorry, sorry, just a concerned citizen, carry on." He looks around and sees that no guards were coming anyway. "Sorry to disturb you"  and he walks away.

Ashlee says to the group, "Okay, we need to get out of here, do we have a plan? If you guys want to come on my boat we need a plan to sneak you on. Or a reason I need to bring a bunch of people with me. Anybody got any bright ideas?"

“Gairlik, do you have any tricks we haven’t seen yet? I imagine Chandra can go where she pleases with that invisibility of hers, I can disguise myself like one of the crew, and Tonk... You’re small, I bet you’re pretty sneaky when need be, right? How hard could it be to sneak on the boat?”

At some point Ashlee has produced an old bucket and filled it with water magically, and hes using a ripped piece of cloth to try to clean some dried blood off himself, and he motions for anyone to use it too. and he says.  "Now I know this is going to sound a little crazy, but can we put the littlest guy on the second littlest guy's shoulders and maybe put a big coat on them?"

     "Nope,  don''t have any magical tricks up these sleeves. My talents lie with these," Gairlik says indicating the weapons attached to him. "However, I have worked plenty of security details in my years, so I can offer those services - maybe at a minimal wage, if it will get me on the boat?"

     The dwarf blinks with bewilderment at the half elf's suggestion. "Hah! That's the oldest trick in the book. Your captain that stupid? But, if you think it'll work." He sighs then looks to Tonk, "And if you can stop chasing shiny things." 

"I need to rest for a bit before I turn invisible again.  Give me that time and I can make two of us disappear.  I can disguise myself as one of the crew too... Got it.  We chill for an hour, make Tonk and Garrlik invisible, and Ixalin and I blend in with the crew."  Chandra says this while cleaning herself up as best she can.

"Tonk no carry dwarf, dwarf carry Tonk!" He pauses "Tonk very sneaky" He's going to try stealthing right where he's standing, which technically doesn't work lol.

Stealth -> 8

    "Good job, little guy," he pats the goblin on the head. "You're DEFINITELY very sneaky," he says in a whispered voice to the goblin. Gairlik rolls his eyes at the others and shakes his head, as he's not sure their plan is going to work. Then as if he has forgotten something he suddenly adds, "Oh, by the way, for those that don't know, the name's Gairlik." 

“I too could use an hour to rest.” Ixalin says, cleaning himself with the water. 

***if we’re able to short rest, Ixalin will use this rest to attune to the wand of hold person, and use arcane Recovery upon completion of the rest. 

"My plan doesn't exactly work I can only turn one person invisible at a time"

     "I know you said sumthin' about being on a schedule here," Gairlik says to Ashlee, "but are these two okay to take a break?"

Provided we rest:

    As the others rest, Gairlik looks around and tries to find some boards and nails - perhaps scavenged from leftover items, and proceeds to board up the broken window. "Here make yerself useful and hold this," the says calling Tonk over. He uses the back side of his axe as in impromptu hammer as the goblin holds the boards in place.

Tonk holds the boards but every time he swings his axe he recoils slightly which in turn slightly moves the boards.
