Throgg, familiar with navigators tools, tries to see if he can guess at where the man would’ve floated from. (Perception Nat 1 + 4 — that tracks with his character lol)
Throgg can’t figure out what this fellow is doing way out here. Kel is standing at the ready with rope and other crewmen call out to this guy who apparently can’t understand a lick of common or any other languages people tried. Suddenly, the man just swims off and dives under. Whatever he was trying to signal lost under the waves. Lagazara had just come on deck to check out why the ship was slowed and notice the man just as he dived out of sight. “ Ahh, just a sea elf. They can sure be a pain in the backside…” she informed the captain of the situation and once again order to haul out the reefs and full sail ahead. Everyone ok. Board would keep an extra sharp eye out in case he was signaling some kind of danger
(Eclipse chose sign language as his second language. Yes, I’ve been reading Rebecca Yarros! Any chance this ability might help in understanding whatever the sea elf might have been trying to convey through his gestures? Here’s a Hail Mary roll in case there’s a chance: 9)
Unfortunately no luck. He was just signaling and could not understand anyones responses. The sea seems fine, nothing out of the ordinary other than the momentary strange interaction.
The ships continues on in peace until the evening comes once again. Another gorgeous setting of the sun and this evening no fishing nets due to the sea elf sighting. This noght the watches will be completed by other crewmen. Thagal who has spent most of his time pouring over maps and charts in the Captain’s cabin. Lands Thagal never dreamed men could know, laid out before him in stunning detail on these extraordinary, well rendered maps. Some of the charts even hinted at continents never before seen by anyone in Faerun to his knowledge. Ships that try to cross never seem to make it back to tell. Maybe in the wizards tower library there will be information he can find. Surely the powerful workers of the arcane can see and visit anywhere this realm or others? Thagal gets a greedy sort of look for a second. Maybe the benefactor can reveal these secrets to him.
After the food, the ships settles in for some entertainment provided by Kel. ( roll your performance check)
For the first time, both the “ Snake” sisters are seen together. Shocking how similar their upper bodies and face are and striking seeing the slithery snakes coils of Sinmana. Nobody ever mentioned it …at least not in her presence and she made a lot of the regular crew a little uncomfortable. Some say it is like she can see their souls as she passes by them. Always patrolling the boat an nobody ever seems to hear her coming.
Throgg performs his duties as normal. After he goes to the one in charge of steering the ship.
”Mind if Throgg takes over for a while? I miss holding the wheel and controlling ship. Used to do it on last ship before everyone died.” Then a slight pause before saying, “Not because of ship crash. Just lots of swords.”
(proficiency with navigation tools and water vehicles)
Eclipse will join Kel in his performance when duties allow. He has a bright tenor voice and knows the words to many songs. “My parlor trick to… make friends at dinner parties and celebrations,” he says with a wink. (Proficiency in Performance, Entertainer background… give Advantage to Kel’s roll with a ‘Help action’?)

The rudderman having watched Throgg perform his rigging duties with skill and efficiency the last two days and hearing the complimentary remarks said by the Master rigger agrees to let Throgg take control for a bit. He sits back to relax and work on a small carving as he enjoys the music and the evening air.

Eclipse’s singing isnt to terrible, but doesn’t quite blend as well into Kels masterful playing. It doesnt harm anything and the crew are still having a good time.
After a while, everyone heads to their racks for sleep. Feeling good, and glad for the rest. Full bellies, good entertainment and wonderful weather. Really hard to ask anything more out of life.
240 nautical miles traveled over two days, even with the minor delay caused by the sea elf sighting.
wind direction and speed: winds are heading due North, with some stronger gusts and the sea is becoming a little rougher. Sinmana updates the Captain on the changing conditions and the helmsman is ordered to maintain course and heading. Daeric the Master rigger directs Throgg to adjust sails for closed hauled sailing into the wind.
Kel would be trying his best to carry over the rope to help pull the stranger in.

No signs of a ship wrecked or otherwise and no floating debris of any kind.

Kel would get onto the ships mini stage as he looked at eclipse with a smile. "Thank you everyone for this opportunity!

Again, Kels natural talent shines. He was truly born to play like this. Everyone on the ship is enthralled, and the morale is high.

As for kels perfomance he would try singing mixxed with his lute, while doing a small dance, his was overjoyed.
