Dell flashes a falsely subdued look at Velkyn as he gets ready to enter the passageway... indeed crawl through it. "Yep, I wouldn't want ye to smear dust all over them fancy elven duds, let the common folk do the work, here. There we... gnnh... darn this city life has not been kind to my silhouette, can't barely squeeze through !", then almost immediately poking his head out again: "Bear definitely won't make it past. Okay, never mind, here we go again... c'mon now..."
He then finally seems to be swallowed into the mouth of the entrance, diving head first into the darkness.
As always, senses in alert and using his newly found rod to poke around in the corridor and detect eventual pressure plates etc...

As Dell begins crawling through the passage way, Velkyn will get down behind him again looking through to the other side, close his right hand into a fist and put it against his chest, causing the purple signet on his ring to glow as he casts Misty Step to teleport to the other side of the passage way. He will reach down with his left hand to help Dell to his feet with a sly grin and more certainly a boastful wink. No words shared.

Grexx will stand on his hind legs as a Brown Bear and cancel Wild Shape turning back into a human. He then says to Barry, "I appreciate the hospitality." Grexx will then enter the shaft as well.
With a puzzled look on his face Barry will slowly look at the remaining people then back at Grexx and slowly proceed. Once on the other side he will poke Grexx a few times shrug and carry on.
Anders makes his way through the opening. Preparing his shield in front of him he touches the broad side and casts light and golden light starts emanating to fill up the room.
When Anders' light fills the room, it reveals that this is a long, unusual tunnel. Bright, brilliant colors can be seen everywhere, the stones and pigments undimmed by the passage of decades. The floor of the corridor is a colorful mosaic of stone, with a distinct, winding path of red tiles about 2 feet wide that snakes from one end to the other. No stonework can be seen on the walls or the ceiling 20 feet above, some sort of cement or plaster has been smoothed over all of these surfaces and then illustrated.
The scenes painted show fields with cows grazing, a forest with several wolves in the background, slaves (human, orc, elven, and strange human-animal mixture pig-human, ape-human, and doghuman) going about various tasks. Some of the frescoes show rooms of some buildings: a library filled with many books and scrolls, a torture chamber, a wizard’s work room. There are chairs, windows, boxes, bales, doors, chests, birds, bats, spiders and all manner of things shown all over the walls.
Grexx - At the far end of the tunnel you see an image of the Demon Goristro whose mouth is agape in a the form of a perfect black circle of about 3 feet in diameter
Grexx announces his findings to the group by saying, "I am not certain of the significance. It could have been drawn as a warning or to honor it but that image at the end of the hall is of the Demon Goristro. It appears a perfect circle has been is being used for it's mouth. Do any of you see anything of interest?"
So the room is a long tunnel, you're on one end, the Demon face i described is on the other end. There's paintings all over the walls as i described above, and the snaking red path along the floor. If you want to do something or get a better look at something be specific and tell me what your doing and how your doing it and make a roll to go along with it.
That will kind of go for most rooms as there's a lot going on in this dungeon.
For now you're all just standing near the entrance you emerged from. Let's say your'e on the North side and the Demon face is on the South side if that helps
In an almost trance like state Barry will stumble down the hallway trying to take in everything drawn on the walls randomly bumping into people as he goes. If nobody stops him he will walk right up to the wall and just stare at it.

As the dwarf takes his first step down the corridor, Dell raises an arm to gently but firmly bar his way.
"Hold on a minute, there, Master Dwarf. Let me do the honors, if you please ?"
Glancing first at the winding floor tiles, then roving slowly along the paintings, his eyes finally rest on the depiction of the demon on the opposite side of the passage. He seems lost in thought for a few seconds, then adresses the whole group arrayed around him:
"Let's see what we have here: a meandering but nevertheless very distinctive path of red tiles that leads across the floor towards the image of a DEMON with what appears to be a GAPING HOLE in its mouth. I dunno if you get my drift, but I smell 'TRAP', here. Y'all savvy ?".
The rogue then turns intently on Barry: " Now, Master Dwarf, I don't know how lucky you feel, but from now on I would humbly suggest you WAIT before rushing into a room, or touching anything. Or do anything at all, for that matter. Unless I give the green light first." Then, after a moment, adding: " Barry: Green Light Means GO. Okay? Green: YES. Red Light: NO. Right now it's red light. Okay... ? Okay."
He then concentrates on examining the floor, first crouching intently to examine the nearest tiles and the immediate area around them, looking for any type of depression on the ground, crevices, slits, movable parts etc.
Eventually, if nothing captures his attention, he very carefully will poke on and around the first tile with his rod, trying to find a mechanism of sorts.
First Perception roll to Find Traps, then an eventual Investigation to disarm them if need be.

Dell - There appears to be some faint runes in the red tiles that start at your end and continue all the way down the red path. It's not a repeating pattern and appears to be a message written in a language you can't read. All of the tiles in your vicinity appear to be just normal tiles.

"Hold on there, buddy." Velkyn puts his hand on Barry's shoulder. "Why don't you let me have a look? Now, will you all be quiet for a minute and let me listen." Velkyn, is going to gingerly walk in the middle of the red stone path listening carefully for any sort of sounds and further investigate the wall paintings. He has his bow drawn with an arrow notched prepared to let lose in a moments notice.
Is there any sort of writing on the walls or just the images?
Velkyn as you walk along the winding red path it takes you closer to the West wall, near the image of what looks like it might be a wizard's work room. Two jackal-headed human figures are painted so as to appear to be standing in the room holding a bronze chest. The bronze chest seems to have a different texture then the rest of the wall and even protrudes a small amount. You don't see any writing on the wall.
Anders follows along behind the investigators making sure to give them plenty of light to assist their investigation. He will look at the writings to see if it’s a language he understands (celestial, abyssal) .

It's super dark in here. Anybody lighting it up?
Anders makes his way through the opening. Preparing his shield in front of him he touches the broad side and casts light and golden light starts emanating to fill up the room.

While examining the scenes on the walls would Grexx recognize any as having religious significance?
