Velkyn as you walk along the winding red path it takes you closer to the West wall, near the image of what looks like it might be a wizard's work room. Two jackal-headed human figures are painted so as to appear to be standing in the room holding a bronze chest. The bronze chest seems to have a different texture then the rest of the wall and even protrudes a small amount. You don't see any writing on the wall.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grexx will walk up to the protruding chest. He will touch the chest and trace the outer edges as well as where the chest would normally open with his fingers. Does anything happen?
Still standing on the path, Dell watches with interest and a somewhat dubious look on his face. "This crew is gonna get me killed if they don't keep their hands to themselves. But they seem intent on it, so let's see how this plays out...". Catching Velkyn's eye as the elf warily steps back and stands at the ready, Manguyre tenses up and he scans around the room, all senses in alert as his comrades fumble with wall decoration.
"If anything blows up I'll personally come and haunt you in the afterlife !" he shouts at Barry and Grexx as they poke around at the dog pictures and the chest, respectively.

Intrigued about what could be so special about a painting, Anders positions himself about in the middle of everyone. Shield pointed towards the two at the wall and squats down. So everyone can see what’s going on.
Velkyn takes in the imagery around the bronze chest inspecting it for runes and trying to recall lore that might help. And comes up with nothing. Then steps back to let the others look.
Grexx approaches and runs his fingers around the outer edge of the box and discovers it has slightly hidden hinges along the top and a small latch at the bottom.
Barry approaches and begins checking out the paintings of the Jackal headed people.
Dell is anxious abut all the touching and prodding, and Anders prepares for trouble.
Grexx, just before you finish checking it out you happen to notice a a small catch near the opening that would indicate a possible trap. But you think that, with maybe a small dagger, you would probably be able to open it without hitting the catch.
Grexx looks to the others and says, "This box appears to work like a normal chest and has slightly hidden hinges along the top and a small latch at the bottom. However, there is a small catch near the bottom that makes me believed this is trapped. Someone with a small dagger would probably be able to open it without hitting the catch. Unfortunately, I do not have a small dagger and do not have the most nimble hands. Would any of you be equipped with the equipment and skills to open this without triggering the trap?"
Grexx will then move behind Anders and her shield.
With a little bit of dread in his voice Barry will whisper to the people in the shield wall "Hey friends... there isn't any water, people or buildings here. How are we supposed to sleep tonight if there isn't an Inn? If we were at my house we could all sleep there."

Dell discreetly sighs with relief on seeing Grexx retreat from the chest. "Finally someone with common sense", he thinks to himself as he struts confidently towards the trap, patting the druid on the shoulder in passing and gracing him with his trademark side-looped grin and throwing him a quick nod, as he says casually: " Well done, Furry Man. I got this, now..."
Crouching in front of the mural box and after a quick cursory glance at the latch, he pulls out a small leather pouch containing an array of small stiletos, probes and other mysterious-looking instruments, like small chains, lenses, clamps and other devices that the others find hard to identify. Very deliberately, he inserts the tip of one very fine and flexible blade underneath the latch and gives it a few, very sharp and expert thugs, softly whistling between his teeth as he operates the device...

Its already been investigated, it would be more Sleight of Hand, which you have an even better score in, lol so lets say its a 23.
So with ease you expertly pop open the 'lid' of the box without triggering the trap, and open it up to reveal!........ what appears to be an empty box.
The rogue chuckles as he bends his head towards the empty box to examine it, but without touching it. "Okay, whoever built this has a twisted sense of humor. Probably a wizard. They're all like that, I find...".
Turning to the group: "Anyone wants to try his luck with this? You never know, may contain a genie, or something. I'm not keen on magical boxes, you gents have at it!"
And with that he takes a step back and points his jutting chin at the group questioningly.

Barry will tilt his head with a puzzled look on his face "If it's empty why don't we put something in it? After all boxes are made to hold stuff!" he will then carefully go through his bag and pull out a torch and put it in. "Hopefully the next people in here can use this."
Barry will follow behind Dell and Velkyn with maul drawn positioning himself so he can barely see around them.
Grexx will follow behind Barry and the others in their advance but will remain 7 feet behind them.
Can I make an Arcana check on the protruding bronze chest?
Arcana -> 23
/e No, no I cannot.
Grexx will walk up to the protruding chest. He will touch the chest and trace the outer edges as well as where the chest would normally open with his fingers. Does anything happen?
Investigation: 19
Velkyn will take 10 steps back from Grexx as he touches the chest, staying on the red path, bow still drawn ready to let loose an arrow when needed.
Seeing Grexx touching the chest Barry will saddle up beside him and use his free hand to try to do the same to the dog people.
Still standing on the path, Dell watches with interest and a somewhat dubious look on his face. "This crew is gonna get me killed if they don't keep their hands to themselves. Grexx will then move behind Anders and her shield.
Upon hearing the word trap Barry will slowly creep behind the people behind the shield and begin the ritual for Commune with Nature
OOC: After his casting time of 11 minutes he will be looking for:
I think this doesn't work in a constructed temple, you'd have to be outside.
"The spell doesn't function where nature has been replaced by construction, such as in dungeons and towns"
With a little bit of dread in his voice Barry will whisper to the people in the shield wall "Hey friends... there isn't any water, people or buildings here. How are we supposed to sleep tonight if there isn't an Inn? If we were at my house we could all sleep there."
OOC: That's fine he doesn't know that.

Barry you hear the torch 'clink' against something as you shove it in
"Hey guys someone left us something!"
OOC: is Barry tall enough to reach in and grab whatever it is? If so he will do so.
