Grexx sees that Dell has made a discovery and believes that their time in this room will soon come to an end. Grexx says, "I have to know what is behind this painting of a door." Grexx looks to Barry and says, "Barry, if you would please use your talents to knock a hole right here" Grexx will point exactly to the door and step away to the right. "I will be very grateful."
Barry's maul easily smashes a 1 foot hole in the wall. This section is revealed to be cloth and plaster disguised as wall. Just a bit back an actual door is behind it.

Abandoning his perfunctory poking into the transporter alcove, Dell shuffles over to the hidden door Barry's slamming just revealed. The rogue can't suppress a hearty laugh at the dwarf's contented expression, as he sees him hugging his massive hammer with a beaming grin.
" Okay, I take back everything I've said, Master Dwarf: ye have some skills, by Menathar's Leggings ! Good work... Should I have a look at this and make sure it's not wired to yet another trap ?"
If the party agrees, he will perform a investigation check on the door, focusing his attention on the lock, if lock there is...

Dell as you poke around the door the rest of the plaster falls away, fragile after Barry's assault. The door doesn't appear to be trapped or rigged up in any way. As far as you can tell.
Dell looks around at the rest of the crew with an ironic raising of the eyebrows: " Fancy this: we had no real idea where to go and it seems we now have too many options ! So, any suggestions ? Keep in mind that this door was hidden behind some ugly beast painting, so that probably means danger - but then again, anywhere in this crazy barrow probably means danger. As for the archway, well... I gotta try one more thing first."
And with that, the rogue goes up to the lit transporter and presses the yellow light on the left side.
"Now that should tell us if there are a different destinations for each color, or if they simply all light up to tell us that this gizmo's working. These magic devices are always somewhat tricky, in my experience..."
He stands and watches to see if his pressing the yellow stone has any effect, if not he'll press the orange one and the blue one in that order, waiting a moment between each try, to check the effect .

Grexx says, “Indeed we should exhaust all options with this transporter first before proceeding.” Grexx then says, “Oh Velkyn! I forgot there was a rock and an arrow in the jail cell that I could not retrieve in Owl form. Would you be able to go back and get it them with your athletics? I would not be able to get back out without assistance.”
Grexx then turns to Riynor. “I have seen you detect magic, can you also identify items such as the rock, arrow, and these.” Grexx will take the goggles off his head and hand them to Riynor. “They may be useful in our current situation if we know what these items do.”
Dell - no matter which stones you touch, it just stays all lit up.
Grexx - you can just have the rock and arrow, Riynors detect magic would still be active and they don't glow, they're just the ones you guys launched into the mist. The goggles do glow but the detect magic doesn't give you any other info about them.
Grexx will drop the rock and give Velkyn back his arrow. He well then say, "It worked out well last time. Let us see what happens." Grexx will walk into the room that the Archway revealed.
Dell looks stunned for a second as the druid vanishes, then turns towards the others: " Ooookay, that was... mmh, how to say this ? Unsettling. Anyone else wants to vanish ? Shouldn't we open that door over there before we scoot ? ", he asks, pointing towards the door behind the broken plaster.
DM: How are the lights on the archway now ? still flashing ? or have they gone out ?
He then says, almost to himself: " Wonder what's up with that paladin, now... eaten by a stone demon is a heck of a way to go. Especially for a holy man and all... "

Dell answers the elven ranger with a shrug: "Well, looks like we lost both our paladin and our druid for now... This is a conundrum of sorts: if we don't follow him, he' ll be on his own to face whatever awaits on the other side of that teleporter; on the other hand, if we go through that archway there's no guarantee that we'll be able to come back here afterwards. And I don't know about you, but I just cannot pass by a locked door without having a wee lookee inside first, eh ?"
At that, Dell once again strides back towards the now-exposed secret door and put his ear to it, signaling the others to quieten down as he tries to detect any presence on the other side.

Dell - You listen at the door for a moment. No sound can be heard from the other side. You check the door and it appears unlocked. You gently open the door a crack and peek through. Something flies through the air at you and slams into the door.

Riynor - everything that was glowing before is still glowing, the arch, the face, and the runes on the path
Grexx and Velkyn - sorry I think I forgot to say there was a rock and/or arrow in the little cell you were in.
Barry will wind up and swing away until there's a hole.

Grexx says enthusiastically, “Well done, Barry! Please proceed, Dell! It appears we have two leads now.”
Barry will just happily nod.

Grexx vanishes in a flash of light

I would say the lights on the archway go out and the mist reforms after he disappeared
"Huh, so do we follow Grexx or take this side door here."
Dell answers the elven ranger with a shrug: "Well, looks like we lost both our paladin and our druid for now... If the listening in doesn't reveal anything, he'll try opening the door a crack and use his Darkvision to have a peek inside.
(also if needed, he'll go ahead and pick the lock)
