" Ooommph ! " Dell's wind is knocked out of him as the large stone-like winged horror barrels into his chest, knocking him flat on his back. Yet with lightning speed - and calling on the muscle memory of his long years of training (and of many similar falls) - the wiry thief instinctively executes a back roll which brings him back to his feet in an instant. With another few well-calculated vaulting steps, he nimbly twists his body sideways to avoid being gored by the gargoyle's claws and bounces his way to the archway's corner of the room, away from the magical monster's snapping jaws.
Using his Turn Action to get back on his feet and the Disengage bonus action , Dell uses the rest of his movement (I think 15 feet ?) to go towards the misty archway, thereby avoiding any attacks of opportunity and positioning himself out of the gargoyle's attack range.
With a trembling hand, the rogue prepares to press the archway command stones and re-activate the transporter.
" I knew this was a terrible idea ! " he quips hypocritically as he lands near the archway, gasping for breath, " that beast staring at us from that torture chamber painting... bad news, very bad news indeed ! Now we've landed ourselves in the Raykhar's turd with no Goblin Paddle(*) ! Velkyn, watch for them claws ! Here ye go...". But as the battle rages (gargoyle screaming and arrows flying all around him) he seems to settle a bit, and a bright thought comes to him: " although them things often protect magical treasures... mmh, yes, of course... that could be better news, somewhat..."
(*) a colorful expression from the highland barbarian tribes of Skotterfjörn, meaning "being stuck in a troublesome situation with little or no way out". The hairy buffalo-like Raykhars are the nomadic tribes' main source of food and their dung is notoriously plentiful and strewn liberally across the Skotterlands. As for the Goblin Paddle, it is a big wooden kitchen implement sometimes used by Skotter wives to discipline their children (and as likely as not their drunken husbands).

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Barry will start saying "DON'T HURT MY FRI..." as a slow guttural growl starts to overtake his shouts. His shoulders will slump over as a feral look starts to over take his face and he begins to froth a little bit at the corners of his mouth.
OOC: Barry would like to rage
As Barry rushes over to the beast it actually looks as if his hair is getting thicker and his teeth look larger as he begins to slam his maul into the gargoyle.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Velkyn will shoot twice at it with his Longbow he will use distant strike on the first attack to teleport 10ft backwards so that he's not within melee range.
Action -> Shoot Longbow twice, distant strike on first shot.
To hit -> 15
Damage -> 11 Piercing damage
To hit -> 22
Damage -> 12 Piercing damage
Bonus action -> Planar Warrior
The first shot to hit does force damage instead of piercing and also does 11 additional force damage!
Planar Warrior
As a bonus action, choose one creature you can see within 30 ft. of you. The next time you hit that creature on this turn with a weapon attack, all damage dealt by the attack becomes force damage, and the creature takes an extra 1d8 force damage from the attack. [11th] 2d8 force damage.
Dell is knocked back as the door crashes into him and the Gargoyle emerges.
Velkyn gets off a quick shot as he sees the creature emerge through the doorway.
Barry will start saying "DON'T HURT MY FRI..." as a slow guttural growl starts to overtake his shouts. His shoulders will slump over as a feral look starts to over take his face and he begins to froth a little bit at the corners of his mouth. The Gargoyle darts around in the air and Barry takes a few swings, hitting it once with his maul for 12 dmg
The Gargoyle takes 2 furious swings at Barry and zips over and takes 2 at Dell. Barry gets hit once for 15 and Dell gets hit for 11 5
Dell quickly rolls back up to his feet and moves along the path towards the arch. And presses in the sequence to clear the mist again. The wound where the Gargoyle scratched him burns for a moment inflicting 15 extra dmg.
Velkyn fires off another clean shot, then teleports backwards away from the beast and fires once again, the second shot erupting with energy as it hits the Gargoyle.
As Barry sees the Gargoyle move past him to attack Dell he will swing into its back with his maul while letting out a feral roar for an opportunity attack.
Suddenly there is a 'Pop!" and a flash of light, and there standing in the middle of the room is Grexx holding his wand, and he's as naked as the day he was born.
Barry, your wound from the gargoyle stings you as you swing your maul causing you 15 dmg
The Gargoyle is looking a little rough already, but still has some fight in it, it flies at Barry and takes 4 vicious swipes. Barry manages to swat away 2 of the arms while the others scratch him for 16 and 10
Dell raises an eyebrow and sighs as he sees the naked Grexx re-materializing into the room. He thinks to himself: "This thing is getting more surreal all the time... if it wouldn't be for the burning pain on my side, I'd swear I'm dreaming all this and I'll wake up in one of Kalishmar's houses of pleasures, cuddling my favorite opium shisha. Anyways... better shut bulldog-face down, here, and double-quick ! "
He pulls one dagger from each boot and send them both hurtling towards the gargoyle's back in quick succession.
Sneack attack + off-hand attack with throwing daggers

Velkyn will shoot at the gargoyle twice again and use distant strike twice, as well as planar warrior on the first hit. Velkyn will teleport to the other side of Grexx, assuming he is within 10ft of Velkyn and give him a light kick in the ass then fire at the gargoyle, he will then teleport again near Dell and whisper "Boo." in Dell's ear before firing again!
*** As a reminder Velkyn teleports because of Distant Strike before shooting.
Bonus Action -> Planar Warrior Extra Damage -> 9 Force damage Bonus -> Whichever hit deals the extra force damage is also converted to force damage instead of piercing damage!
Action -> Distant Strike & Longbow vs Gargoyle To hit -> 29 Damage -> 6 Piercing Damage
Action -> Distant Strike & Longbow vs Gargoyle To hit -> 12 Damage -> 6 Piercing Damage
*I like that you use your teleporting powers to just be a bit of a dick. Lol
Your arrows strike the gargoyle in the head, causing it to flail around and then crash to the ground. You see something sparkle as it breaks into several peices on the ground.
Dell's onto the sparkly bit like a tiger pouncing on a mouse. "Hold on there, let the professionals evaluate the goodies, make way please, thaaank you kindly !" he shouts exhuberantly as he dashes towards the broken gargoyle.
Dash action, although it's probably useless , what with our teleporting bouncy elf here *wink*
As he speeds by Grexx he shouts: "and someone gets that druid some clothing ! By Barudyr's Leviathan's Laundry List, where were you, man ?"
*Note to DM: this is mostly for comic relief, not even sure who actually saw the jewel (assuming it is what the sparkling is), but if Dell did, he's definitely going for it, venal wee devil that he is...!

Barry will swing at any of the large bits of the Gargoyle that remain as it falls to pieces until his rage subsides. He will blink several times in quick succession, hands trembling with his maul in tow as he slowly comes to the realization that things are okay "Where'd that big bat guy go? He didn't seem very happy to see us."
*I thought about letting others roll competing dex checks with Dell, but that'll take too long, lol
Dell you make it there first, and find a collar that was around the gargoyles neck that has 3 large gems attached to it, you grab it just as Barry comes up behind you and starts smashing the remains of the creature.
