Having traveled far and wide, Portia can sleep anywhere, so decides to join her new companions in the stables.
"Hi, we haven't been properly introduced. I'm Portia. You asked about skills earlier; well, I'm quite good at traveling, and talking" she grins "but I'm also very good at not being seen when I need to."
"I also seem to be able to open things that should be locked." Portia suddenly looks embarrassed "I don't mean that like it sounds" she looks flustered "I mean like doors!" "Not all doors! I mean like barn doors or stables or things! When it's raining and I need shelter."
Looking decidedly red in the face she retreats into a corner of the stable"I'm going to stop talking now. Just ignore what I said"
"Pleasure Miss. No shame in knowing your talents" Dragen says matter of factly. Smiling a warm smile at her.
*The next morning on the road*
"Mind if I ride along up front? I get a little motion sick on these things" He says to Cleo
Doria looks at Grommok, "Of course I'm coming, I'm in charge here." He is short, bordering on rude, but he seems alert. "I do not know those gnomes or why they are so happy. They drive wagon, we guard the wagon" and he seems to be done speaking for the moment.
Cleo says, "Well, I'm sure we could make some room for you, plenty of room for us small folk" she says happily, sliding over to make room for Dragen. "Nice to meet you, master Dragen!"
"You two" she says, looking at the other halfling and Tiefling, "don't be shy. I know you have a job to do, but no reason to be so quiet about it. We have a few hours until lunch and I think the rain may stop soon!"
This elicits a groan from her brother, his cloak still pulled over his head to fend off the rain.
"You may regret asking me not to be quiet, I may start asking questions" Portia giggles. She is currently sat looking out of the wagon, with a journal on her lap sketching and making notes.

"I sure hope so," Gelidus mutters, their voice flat and uninterested, eyes a mix of lifeless boredom and mild annoyance. They had pulled the hood over their head when the rain started, though it barely fit around their horns and hair bun, making their head look almost twice as large. Now, the soggy hood droops heavily, weighed down by the rain and still holding onto a few stubborn droplets, giving them a somewhat funny look.

"Questions are fine so long as you accept the answer might be" *Dragen does a deep apologetic pantomime of a shrug* "but I'd never forgive myself for silencing a pleasant voice such as your own"
After lunch you continue your journey towards Knott. The rain does not relent, and you’re all feeling a bit worn down from the constant dampness.
An hour after lunch, two wagons pass you going in the opposite direction, most likely belonging to a Noble or well to do merchant by the looks of it. Their guards nod at you but have no interest in conversation, no doubt also tired of their rain drenched clothing.
A few more hours and the road rides parallel to the woods. Serendipitously, the rain begins to slow and eventually stops. You camp off the road, on the edge of the trees.
“Tomorrow, we cross the River Ulv, we’ll be in Knott by dinner. First round is on me.” the dragonborn says, a glint of personality leaking out of him. “I’ll take the first watch” he says, looking at the rest of you, assuming you’ll figure out the rest of the night.
[Let me know what you want to do for the night, as far as watch, night vision, etc.

Gelidus will make their annoyance and tiredness apparent and reluctantly take the last watch. They'll try to have a well deserved rest after a such a long and rainy day.
Dragen sets up a magical alarm around camp, and takes first watch with Dorai, sitting near the fire, trying to dry up. Watch then shifts to Grommok, Nyli, and lastly Gelidus. The long, wet day on the road has taken its toll, and the last three watchers find themselves slipping in and out of sleep during their watches. Luckily, the alarm is triggered and you all wake to the smell of some sort of cooking meat, as Leo cooks over the fire and Cleo is busy attaching Cookie and Duke back to the wagon.
You all enjoy a simple, but delicious breakfast and gear up for the second day of the journey, knowing that when you reach Knott you'll get your first payment of 5 gold.
As Leo puts away the last of the breakfast utensils, it is time to go.
The dragonborn approaches the group, his look sterner then normal somehow. He points at Grommok, Nyli and Gelidus, "You! What happened on your shifts, what did you see? We have a problem. The chest full of coins is missing!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gelidus tries to remember if the chest was missing when they woke up for their watch. ( History? : 20 )
Whether they remember it or not, Gelidus will still sigh and look at the other two with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms, as if Gelidus' name wasn't mentioned.
"Not that I remember, but I don't have darkvision so it could have been taken without me seeing." Portia thinks for a moment then looks at Dragen "If something came into camp, why didn't the alarm go off?" She looks panicked "I'm not casting blame, I'm wondering if something could have avoiding tripping it."

“Well, I’m not unfamiliar with this type of… situation. If it is not one of you…” Gelidus squints at Grommock and Portia, but tries to make it subtle. “Which I’ll assume so… for now.” Gelidus abruptly stops talking and walks closer to the cargo. They'll cast Guidance on self and try to look for anything out of place, maybe footprints or any traces that are noteworthy.

Grommok would like to inquire with the dragonborn. "Are you coming? Who are those cheerful gnomes?" "I wonder what makes them so happy" he muses.
"I cast Fireball."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"I cast Fireball."
"It's a 15 by 15 room."
"I said I cast Fireball."
"Pleasure Miss. No shame in knowing your talents" Dragen says matter of factly. Smiling a warm smile at her.
