"OK let's get some food. Then maybe we can find out where Urgon went and which route he took to come back." Harold shrugs, surely somebody knows something.

As you arrive at The Whispering Goat, you see Elro sitting at a table. He beckons you to sit down, you sit down hoping to catch a bite. He speaks up: “Friends, I have a job for you to do to find out where the plague is coming from. Go to Tulgi’s house, Tulgi is one of our sick friends and I would like to see if you can find anything that might’ve caused her sickness.”
Avery frowns a bit. "I dunno, I haven't eaten yet, and I don't really do anything well on an empty stomach."

Vivith is morbidly curious about the otherworldly origins of the freezing sickness that killed Urgon, but she is plagued by a growing concern that her expertise in mundane diseases will provide little help.
When Elro identifies another infected townsperson -- Tulgi -- Vivith shakes her head. Trying to establish a pattern of infection, assuming that Urgon must be 'patient zero', she asks Elro a series of questions. "Is Urgon the first to die from the disease? Could we investigate Urgon's home for possible clues? And is there any connection you're aware of between Urgon and Tulgi?"
Kitsune scans the menu with an intensity usually reserved for ancient texts, finally settled on a Comfortable Meal. "Eight gold pieces" she murmured, pulling a small pouch from her belt and carefully counting out the coins. "These prices are highway robbery!"
As Elro outlined the task regarding Tulgi, Kitsune's attention sharpened. "Tulgi." she echoed, her brow furrowed in thought. "A crucial data point. Is there any correlation between Urgon's condition and Tulgi's? Were they acquainted? Did they frequent the same locations? Any shared...artifacts or possessions?" She paused, tapping a slender finger against her chin. "And the method of infection...is it localized? Airborne? Perhaps waterborne? We must establish the parameters of contagion." She then looked at Elro directly. "Before we proceed to Tulgi's residence, I concur with Vivith. Investigating Urgon's dwelling may yield valuable insights. A baseline, if you will, for comparison."
After a moment deep in thought, she shutters a bit and announces "Wait...what if Tulgi is contagious?! Wouldn't we be putting ourselves at risk?" she then looks around at the other adventurers.

“Yes, I would prefer if you were to search his home.”

“No, we have discovered that it isn’t contagious but mysteriously goes to anybody. We don’t have a clear definition on how it spreads yet, but I can confirm that you will be safe.”
Kitsune nodded, her gaze shifting between Harold and Elro. "Efficiency is paramount" she stated, her voice precise. "If Tulgi is not contagious, then direct interaction is acceptable. However, Harold's suggestion of caution is...prudent. We should approach with observation as our primary objective. Detailed questioning, environmental analysis, and sample collection, if possible. We must establish a clear timeline of events." She trailed off, her attention already returning to her voluminous notes, sketching a few more diagrams with rapid, precise strokes.
Lost in thought and madly scribbling, she then proceeded to wolf down her warming breakfast in a few, efficient bites.
OOC: Anyone have any more questions? Should we proceed to Urgon's home first, then visit with Tulgi (if she's even alive any longer...)?
Vivith gives Harold a sideways glance, and the slightest of smiles raises the corners of her mouth. She nods, and says, “Yes, let’s check on Tulgi first. We don’t want the trail to go . . . cold.”
Turning to Elro, Vivith asks, “Can you post a guard outside Urgon’s house? To keep people out until we have a chance to look for clues?”
Then, looking over Kitsune’s shoulder, Vivith nods in approval and admiration at her thorough note-taking.
“I think we’re ready. Which way to Tulgiks house?”
Avery clicks her tongue, annoyed that she hasn't gotten her food, but stretches with a sigh and Cracks her neck. "Let's do this thing, and try not to freeze to death."

Sorry. I was posting from my iPad on the couch while helping my daughter make an endangered bluefin tuna out of recyclable materials and my wife make an award certificate for her school. I didn't realize I'd posted more than once.

Kitsune, still chewing thoughtfully on the last of her meal and occasionally glancing at her notes, nodded in agreement with Vivith. "A logical progression" she mumbled, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "Assess the currently afflicted, then examine the locus of the initial incident. And yes," she added, looking up briefly at Vivith with a flicker of acknowledgement for her note-taking comment, "precautionary measures regarding Urgon's dwelling are...sensible. We must preserve the integrity of the potential evidence."
She then looked towards Elro, her pale grey eyes intent. "Direction to Tulgi's residence, please. And perhaps any information regarding her recent activities or potential contacts?"
Noticing Avery's comment about not having eaten, Kitsune frowned slightly, a rare display of social awareness momentarily overriding her focus (OOC: she's quite the obsessive/compulsive type; she tends to focus on the research subject at-hand and doesn't realize there is a world going on around her...). She gestured to a nearby barmaid. "Excuse me? My lovely friend Avery here hasn't received her order yet. She tends to get...quite...peckish if she doesn't have a good meal!"
Avery snapped her fingers. "C'mon, chop chops we got a body to study or something!"
