He/Him. I am the DM, you are the player. You make the mistakes and I decide the consequences. Now, with that being said - Are you SURE you want to cast Fireball?
Kitsune continued her cautious approach to the still figure on the bed, her keen eyes detecting a subtle stillness that belied true slumber. A touch confirmed the unnatural cold, and the lack of breath brought a somber certainty to her inspection. "Not asleep" she stated quietly. Immediately, a different focus settled upon her features. Her hand lingered for a moment, as if grasping something intangible, before she withdrew her charcoal and notebook. With swift, precise strokes, she began to sketch the scene – the peaceful yet frozen expression, the skin's discoloration, the stillness, the...putrid smell. These details, along with her written observations of Tulgi's passing, became a silent testament, a story to be carried back to the Raven Queen's distant court in the Shadowfell, her home.
Avery looked up. "So... that's it? He's just... dead? What a waste of time. What now?"

Kitsune, still sketching the details of Tulgi's peaceful yet lifeless face, glanced up briefly at Avery, her brow furrowed slightly. "Not a waste" she murmured, her voice quiet but firm. "This is...data. Evidence. The manner of passing, the state of the dwelling...all potential pieces of the puzzle. As for 'what now'...we continue to gather information. We examine the surroundings. We look for anything that might explain this mysterious disease."

Avery shook her head. "Nothing. This place is a wasteland."

Kitsune, her charcoal still poised above her notebook, looked up at Lavis, her pale grey eyes thoughtful. "Anything...unusual" she murmured. "Anomalies. Discrepancies. Note the state of things. The disarray. The types of belongings. Anything that seems out of place, or doesn't fit. Was there a struggle?"
Continuing, "Look for residue, for markings, for anything that might indicate the how of this...mystery. And," she added, glancing towards the strange head mounted above the fireplace, "pay particular attention to anything...out of the ordinary. Like that." She gestured with her charcoal towards the unsettling trophy of the head of a snarling white beast with grey horn. "Anyone recognize that beast? Is it a native of this area?"
Avery cackles "Yeah sure, ask the blind girl to go look for stuff, great idea braniac!"

Vivith joins the others investigating Tulgi's residence, but her real interest is the body lying on the bed. She inspects the deceased for any indications as to the manner and time of death, drawing on her experience with curing diseases as a temple healer. Obviously, Vivith looks for any signs that Tulgi is turned or turning into ice like Urgon.

Kitsune blinked slowly, her mind focusing on Avery's outburst. "Blind?" she murmured, tilting her head slightly, a flicker of confusion in her gaze. She then returned her attention to the room, her brow furrowed slightly at Avery's response. "My apologies, Master Avery. I was unaware of a visual impairment."
She then frowned slightly, considering Avery's statement about feeling unwell. She took a moment, a rare instance of introspection, to assess her own physical state. A slight dizziness still lingered from the initial odor, but beyond that...she couldn't discern anything definitive. "Unwell?" she echoed, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I...am unsure. My senses are...clouded, apparently."
OOC: This reminds me- we should probably give some visual descriptions of our characters; this is Kitsune:
For those who are not elves: she appears as a young teenage girl. Pale grey eyes. Raven black hair. Alabaster skin. A whopping 4'9" tall. A lithe 80 pounds.
For those who <are> elves: Kitsune is a Shadar Kai. You've got a feeling that she is <much> older than her outward appearance would suggest. Those Shadar Kai relatives of yours are quite the curiosity, though. You never can tell what they're really up to!
Vivith shrugs, confused. "Well, she's a stiff, but she's not ice. Maybe Elro was mistaken? Maybe she didn't die from the same cause as Urgon."
She leans a bit closer over the dwarf's dead body and inhales slowly. "And if that horrid stench is coming from her . . . that confirms it. Frozen meat doesn't rot."
Avery shook her head. "No she definitely died from the same thing, and I think we might've caught it."

You are unable to acquire any clues from the current room, it appears she was “spiraling the drain” not long before you got there.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Spiraling the Drain is a term used by Vets when they describe someone reaching the end of their natural life.
