Kitsune, still noting the feel and color of Tulgi's skin, paused at Vivith's comment about no ice. "That's a big difference" she murmured, thinking hard. "Different ways it shows up? Or something else happened to Urgon?"
She then looked at Avery, her eyes a little wider now. "Caught it?" she repeated. She took another second to check how she was feeling, really focusing past the dizzy. "That smell was strong. If it spreads through the air...being stuck in here..." She stopped, her mind clearly racing. Then, a strange look crossed her face as she tentatively sniffed at her own sleeve. "Huh. Nope, don't have a horrid stench, so I'm not dead. Yet." Her gaze then returned to the deceased dwarf, the brief moment of self-assessment already forgotten as her analytical mind re-engaged with the mystery.
Abruptly, Kitsune stood, her hands moving in a swift, intricate spiral gesture as she murmured a few arcane words, a faint silver light flickering around her fingertips. Her eyes then widened, their gaze sweeping slowly across the room and her companions, her senses intently searching.

You detect a Disease in the air, most likely from the body of Tulgi. You can’t discern the nature of the Disease though, it may be too powerful to be discerned through magical means.
Avery's head turns. "Shit. Looks like we got company."

He/Him. I am the DM, you are the player. You make the mistakes and I decide the consequences. Now, with that being said - Are you SURE you want to cast Fireball?
You hear a box set down outside the door, “There’s no one here right?” said one of the grunts. “There shouldn’t be, we got rid of that old hag a week ago.” The other replied.
Avery's going to attempt to discern whether or not these mooks are friendlies or not.

Kitsune moved with a sudden, fluid grace that belied her earlier dizziness. Her slight frame allowed her to slip quickly behind the overturned table laden with dirty dishes. She crouched low, her dark clothing blending surprisingly well with the shadows of the dimly lit cabin. Her eyes remained fixed on the door, as she pressed herself against the rough wood, making herself as small and inconspicuous as possible, her breath shallow and silent.
Stealth: 26
She will then Ready her shortsword, ready to spring an attack on the intruders if they decide to enter the house.

you ready your Shortsword as you hide behind the table, the assailants didn’t notice you.
Kitsune, her body still pressed low behind the overturned table, turned her head slightly towards Vivith, her eyes wide open with fright. In hushed, flowing Elvish, she whispered .
Unlike the others, Vivith makes no attempt to hide, but instead steps toward the door and calmly swings it open. She readies her sword and shield, to add a touch of menace to her appearance and addresses the potential arsonists outside. "As you can see, this house is not empty, so now you must answer to me. Who are you? Why are you here? and who is this 'old hag' of whom you speak?"
As she awaits an answer, Vivith studies them closely, hoping to discern the honesty of their response.

You can’t really tell about their honesty but can see that they have an intent to attempt to murder you based off of the giant Battle Axe they hold in their hands and the other is carrying what seems to be powder.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lavis smiles at the pair. "Now fellas, we're trying to find out what's killing people here lately. I can understand if you're scared of whatever disease or curse is responsible, but we can't let you get in our way. How'bout you fellas put down the axe and let us do our jobs. If you really want to stop the disease then why don't you tell us what you know about the 'old hag'?"
