Crisaryn watched as apparently Lorelei and Alerya speak with the stag. She relaxes a bit, but feels a bit unnerved by the conversation in front of her that she can't hear. When the stag finally leaves, she finally relaxes more completely.
The pounding hooves drew her attention and she was surprised to see the woman following after.
The bard guides his steed to the front of the procession. It takes but a moment, as the caravan has stopped. Before them stood what appeared to be the queen of the forest, surrounded by her royal Court of ungulates. He smiles in greeting to the woman, but remains silent. Vaelar had things under control.
He listens carefully into her reply, trying to discern truth or motive from her words.
Careful to not seem threatening the woman held her arms out to the side, a welcoming gesture. keeping her hands away from the sickle at her side.
We have fled the desecration of a Moonwell and travel now back to the safer vale in the deep forest of the mountains where we can start again. I am Eloise Whitehart, Druid of Moonshae, I too became lost in the mists but Durthan found me. I've been tending the herd ever since.
She threw back her head and lets out a grunt call. The deer surround her watching the Vistani and companions.
The King Stag breaks away from the caravan and prances to her side. He stuck his nose into her braids and snuffled.
I spent the last 10 years creating and consecrating a Moonwell here, like the one I served back home. The druids here are in danger of losing their way, they poisoned the Moonwell, we lost many of the herd, then we were chased by dire wolves under the direction of a dark druid. Luckily Durthan came to help.
The Earthmother can be heard even here in the darkness of Barovia. Her messengers amongst the Fey seem to be able to leave this place, like Durthan. Even amongst the evil that festers here, good finds a way to help.
Illmirth listens with professional curiosity whan the Eloise speaks of the Moonwell. He had never heard of a Moonwell and loved to add interesting bits of arcane lore to his knowledge base.

“Let him not vow to walk in the dark, who has not seen the nightfall.” — Elrond
"I have only recently come through the mists. It is saddening to hear that a moonwell, somehow created in such a dark place, has been tained. I'm sorry,"he offers his earnest regrets.
"I wonder if the dark druid who chased you out was the one that I saw. A woman with black hair and horns."
We cleared away as much as we could leaving the moonwell as a mere watering hole. The druid you saw who led the direwolves does indeed sound like the one than harassed us.
We ask permission to ride with you until we reach the foothills east of Vallaki, then we'll take hunting trails to the woods surrounding Mount Baratok. We have an understanding with the mage there.
Beware we are close to the Windmill, and the hags there prowl at night, sometimes in your dreams.

Vaelar
Instinctively, Vaelar's hand went to his weapons. He does not draw them, but he readies himself.
When he sees the hooves belong to dear and are lead by a lone woman, he slowly lowers his hand, though he keeps his grey eyes trained upon her.
"Hello," he calls tentatively. "Does something chase you and your herd?"

Bouncing with joy, Alerya claps her hands when she sees the deer. Surely they are friends of the white stag. So exciting!

Eloise Whitehart to Vaelar
Illmirth insight
He feels that she has spoken truly, even with the odd accent in common tongue. A Moonshae druid, so far from home.
Vaelar
"A moonwell?" Vaelar asks in his quiet voice.
"In this land? Or was it before you crossed the mists?"
