Illmirth follows the group into the cellar to face what remains of Doru. He looks on the boy with a mix of saddness and disgust. The son of the priest was no more. The light and life, the personality and bravery that made him unique had been drained away through two tiny holes in his neck.
The old paladin sprang into action before the abomination that was once Doru. Blood; vile, black, and tainted by evil, spilled from a grievous wound in his chest as the long sword tore through fabric, flesh, and bone. Illmirth watched the horrific scene with tears welling in his eyes. Changed. The boy had been changed, and was the boy no more. Changed....
With a shudder, Illmirth turned his eyes to the ceiling, lit by Aiden's light, and called upon the cleansing, radiant flame to descend upon the spawn, for that was all that remained. Doru was gone, this thing must be put down.
Illmirths sacred flame makes Doru scream as he tries to put out the radiant flames and fails, his skin now scorched you see his eyes change to a bright red.
The young blonde priestess raises shining shield and blade, joining the old paladin in fighting the spawn of Strahd, calling out to the Dawnfather to have mercy on the brave young man's soul, then letting her radiant blade fall.

Assuming she has a shot at the boy turned undead, Crisaryn would stay where she is at to launch her spell. Otherwise, she would drop down below behind the others. She quickly casts Sorcerous Burst with Psychic energy. (Spell Attack: 8, Damage: 7 psychic damage)
Doru dashes forward and grapples Rhianne, they fall to the floor together in a tangled mess. He snarls then tries to bite the cleric in the neck but his teeth slide away from the armour
Rhianne hits at him with the pommel of her sword, the holy symbol there burning deep into his flesh for 12 points of damage, his face gashed and bleeding and one eye damaged.
Aiden
He swoops down on Doru inserting his holy symbol against his face, it burns like the heart of the sun, Doru lets go of Rhianne for an instant rolls free. He casts sacred flame for 6 points of radiant damage.
Loreleis swing catches Doru on the back of his neck, the stroke following through to sever his head.
Rhianne stands up and says to Lorelei You have my thanks that was as near to a vampire bite that I've ever been! We may as well cremate the body with the ghouls and Donavich. Just to make sure that Strahd doesn't try another necromancy spell. He was a brave boy taking on Strahd, but too inexperienced.
The group makes mercifully quick work of the spawn of Strahd. When the grim deed is done he takes a moment to search around in the cellar for anything of interest or that may be of use in the future. Throughout the building, up stairs as well, he hunts for a hymnal.

Illmirth sticks his head around the door that led to Donavichs office. Everything was covered in thick dust, even the books on the shelves. He sees several books that might be Hymnals and takes them into better light to see. All three have the sigil of the Morning Lord embossed on them.
Better now? A croaky voice asks him, then taps on the floor tap tap, his friendly Raven sat there.
The young blonde priestess cries out in anger as she watches the brave boy dead by her radiant blade, then calming herself, kneeling by his corpse to pray to the Morninglord for absolution for herself and the acceptance of the innocent soul.
Illmirth glances through the books, hunting for something appropriate for the growing pyre; something to honor the dead at final rest and to sooth the spirits of those left to deal with the aftermath of Strahd's undead onslaught. As he flipped a page his attention is pulled to that most unusual of ravens. "Better, I suppose than what it was, but a sad state of affairs none the less. The priest's son has been put to rest, and even now the defiled corpses are being burned to ash. The faithful have returned, and soon the filth of undeath will be washed clean from this place," he says. "I am curious. Why would a disciple of the Raven Queen, and the queen's own favored, come to fight for a place sacred to the Morning Lord?" There is nothing in his question but sincere curiosity.

"The dead stay dead, and the living stay alive," the bard repeated softly. He found beauty in the simplicity of the ravens words. "Have you a name?" he asked the raven. "I should like to remain alive, and it seems that allies of like mind would make that easier for all involved."

Crisaryn simply nods as the boy is decapitated. She is about to say something when she notes Lorelei cry out. Instead, she just watches in silence, ready to Rhianne with the body when the time comes. As they work she asks, "Will you stay here in this town to help some more? Or does the Raven Queen's business take you elsewhere? You have been a huge help to the fight here."
Rhianne studied Crisaryn, I'll stay here until we have reconsecrated the chapel, Aiden is staying here until a new priest of the Morning Lord can be found, he is more than capable, even if he is dead. Maybe your young cleric will be called to take a position here. Me? I'll head to Vallaki, and find out where I'm needed.
"I am sure the town will be grateful for you doing that," Crisaryn says. She considers the comment about the cleric a moment. "Perhaps. I don't really know her that well. She seems a touch indecisive though." When Rhianne mentions Vallaki, she asks, "Where is that? I'm afraid I don't know much about this place."
She'll grow into it. Killing the undead becomes easier once you've seen their savagery. She grieves for the brave boy that he was, not the thing that remained.
Vallaki lies on the shores of lake Zarovich in a valley of vineyards to the north west of here. It is a meeting place for Ravenkind.
We came to help elder Elsa, who begged us to come and deal with the different forms of undead that infested the chapel and graveyard. If you need to contact us, go to the stone circle on the hill above the village, the ravens there will come to us if needed, it is a very old and sacred place for Mother Night. The elder is also the villages midwife, she walks in both worlds. Some seem surprised that we would help sanctify the graveyard, let alone the chapel.
The young blonde priestess finally stands up and turns to the others, collecting herself before speaking. "So, what next? Do you think we can hold a funeral for the Burgomeister and the others who stood up to Strahd?"
The Burgomeister is safely resting in the family mausoleum. The chapel is still being scrubbed clean we'll be casting Hallow on it later tomorrow. Your words though would be appreciated, Aiden can be frightening to those not used to ghosts. Perhaps by the Pyre?
