"Well met, then, Fredrik. I am Illmirth. I am curious about your Mother Night. Perhaps when the funeral has concluded you would tell me more of her."
When the party began to join the group at the pyre Illmirth followed them.out. He was not physicslly strong, but lent his arm to the task, helping to drag the ghoul remains to the growing pile. When the grim duty was done, and the smoke began to rise to the heavans, like a blight leaving the land, he sang.
I close my eyes, only for a moment and the moment's gone. All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity.
Dust in the wind. All they are is dust in the wind.
Now don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky. It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy.
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
As the fire burns low, Illmirth approaches Rhianne, a thoughtful look on his face. "Is it common for the ravens here to befriend strangers?" He very much enjoyed his chats with Frederik, but was iintensely curious, especially in light of the helpful ravens and wereravens that aided in the battle for the cemetery.

Crisaryn listens to Rhianne's comments about her role and the place sacred to the Raven Queen. She thanks her for the information and is left pondering what she said about the young Lathanderite cleric. She continues to offer help in moving bodies if it is needed.
Outside, Vaelar's brow is beaded with sweat at the effort of having piled up the ghoul's corpses. When he sees the others approach he wipes it with the sleeve of his shirt.
She looks askance at him, her head on one side, then smiled. There are some real ravens amongst that lot you know? The conspiracy of Ravens contains real ravens, familiars, were-ravens and spell changed ravens. You can contact us through local ravens. I see Frederik has taken a liking for you, that is good. Ever since his sister died he's been quiet, you'll be good for each other.
The local priest Donavich had turned into a ghoul eating the flesh of the dead left here for burial. Your friends dispatched him. The local Elders and their families are scrubbing the chapel clean so we can cast Hallow on it.
The crypt held a prisoner, his son Doru changed into vampire spawn. We fought him and Lorelei took the final blow, his body is on the pyre now.
She whispered to Vaelar so softly that no-one could overhear I fought with you and you used your swords in defence of this graveyard. I know that you are Dhampir I saw you change. You should be aware that the Hallow spell which we are working in the chapel and cemetery will not discomfort you, you are not evil. You felt the desecration in your body, it would make you a skilled hunter of the undead if you so choose. The Vistani have Dhampir amongst their clans, they should be able to help you.
The graveyard is clear of ghouls. The chapel is clear of bodies also. I will let the graveyard ghosts go back to their rest.
The pair of them watched by the elders walked the graveyard once again this time she swung her censer about. and Aiden sang a hymn of rest into their minds. Rhianne touched each grave as they passed and the ghost sighed and dissipated. Finally Rhianne touched her pommel to the gate and Aiden touched his medallion of the Morning Lord. The entire graveyard lit up as two Hallows slid into place, first the red light of the Raven Queen, then the blue light of Lathander. The earth once again consecrated sighs beneath you.
The chapel would be next after Rhianne had the chance to rest.
Illmirth watches the cleansing of the cemetery with interest. He had witnessed wonders, wicked and amazing in the temple of Lloth. He was duly awed by the displays of power that he observed, but this was different. The power of the servants of the Morning Lord and the Raven Queen was equally impressive, but left a feeling of peace. He was entranced by the proceedings and watched quietly from start to finish.
He smiles when Rhianne talks about Frederik. "I too am becoming quite fond of the chatty little fellow. Where does he fall in the pecking order of the conspiracy?" As the light reclaimed the area Illmirth's mood lightened as well, he chuckled softly at his own terrible pun.

Frederik is a young familiar he is staying with us until he finds his preferred wizard, druid or warlock. That can take a while. He is quite the scholar and often gets into conversations with the were ravens and other clerics.
The bard listens with interest as the cleric of the Raven Queen provides more information about Frederik. He looks thoughtful, processing her words before saying, "I have always been envious of that ability. It is a spell that I have been unable to replicate with music thus far. Perhaps as I grow in power I will master such magic."

Not evil, but not good either, Vaelar thinks to himself, though he nods a small acknowledgement to Rhianne as she leaves him to put the spirits back to rest. He hopes he will get the chance to speak to the Vistani dhampir soon.
He moves to stand near Illmirth, using the grass to clean the last of the battle's gore off his blades before sheathing them on his back once more.
"Did you see the figure in the shadows commanding the undead? The Lord Strahd moves against us already," he says gravely.
"Perhaps," the bard replies after a thoughtful pause. "But by the looks of the church, this situation here has been going on for a while. It's possible that this this encounter was by chance, maybe we interrupted some wicked scheme he had been working on. In either case, I'm just glad we didn't run into him as the sun was setting." He shuddered a little at the thought.

"I tend to agree with Illmirth," Crisaryn says. "If that was Lord Strahd we saw, I rather think his business was with the town, not us." She glances about, "And perhaps Ireena. Do we know where she went?" She tries to see if she is still out here near the graveyard.
Ireena is standing with Ismark. She has picked an armful of wild flowers and is now arranging them at the entrance to the Mausoleum. She fought well in the fight with the ghouls and aided the party by holding wall space against them since they didn't attack her.
Rhianne says, that looked like Strahd, I'd say it was lucky that we met him in combat so near to the dawn. The conspiracy was ready to Hallow the ground and chapel but not for a head on fight with him. We will see what night brings.
Meanwhile the young priestess with the blonde braided hair does what she can to assist the others, praying at the pyre for the souls of the innocent villagers, hoping to grant some comfort and reassurance to the still living.
As the townsfolk finishes cleaning the remnants of the ghouls foul feast Illmirth considers the party's next move. If daylight permitted, perhaps they could travel to the Vistani camp. He was quite fond of the colorful group and very interested in meeting their elder, who was rumored to have the gift of foresight.
"Well, it seems that the warning against traveling at night were well founded. If we have the time, perhaps we should visit the Vistani camp. I for one would like to hear the words of Madam Eva."

Mother Night is Raven Queen. We speak later. With that Frederik flew up to the roof to sit with the other ravens.
Rhianne goes out to join Vaelar in moving the bodies, the ghosts watched, and some pointed out missing pieces.
She listened to Illmirths song at the fire, it moved the heart.
