Lorelei follows the lullaby until she sees a woman in tatters, with no regard for personal hygiene. She is sitting in a childs room rocking a doll. She doesn't react to Loreleis presence.
The young priestess with the blonde braided hair moves closer to the woman in tatters, kneeling down by her side to place a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I'm Lorelei, I want to help you if I can." She says softly with a reassuring smile.

Mary suddenly looks at Lorelei then darts backwards clutching the doll behind her, I won't let you touch my daughter!
Lorelei sees Marys eyes flutter upwards then a moment of sanity, He took her, Gertruda, she ran away, he took her! She turned and clutched the doll to her chest, tears falling down her face.
Mary is lost in her own world but has moments of clarity.
Illmirth catches the glance from Lorelei and his heart hurt for both women; one desperate for her child, the other pulled by compassion to ease her suffering. He was right behind her when she entered. Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder he said, "I am with you my friend. Let us do what we can to ease her suffering."
Illmirth listened to the broken lullaby, searching his memory for the tune. If he didn't know it he did his best to pick up the lyrics and flow of the song.

He did, the devil took her. I kept her safe here and she never left, nor played outside. He called to her and she answered. He took her. She left her Blinsky toy! He took her, he did!
She descended once again into holding the toy as a child. She was only 13, it was her birthday. Then she started singing a birthday song.
She grasped the Blinsky close. Her eyes straying to the bed. Time for bed Gertruda, and she stumbled over to the bed to put Blinksky to sleep. She wasn't looking at Lorelei anymore.
Illmirth begins to hum the lullaby. He begins very softly, watching her closely to see if the tune settles her down and brings her attention back.

Illmirth looks to Lorelei and gently shakes his head. "I don't think we will get much more out of here without some magical assistance. Do you by chance know the enchantment to calm emotions? If not we can always try again in the evening." If she has no more questions for Mary at the moment he heads back down to rejoin the team. The Vistani camp was not far, and he was eager meet Madam Eva.

Crisaryn follows along after Lorelei and Illmirth. She has little to add to the conversation with the woman she thinks is obviously mad. Though she does wonder about the fate of her child.
"No, I don't think we can help her now, but perhaps we will be able to find out what Strahd did to her daughter at least." Lorelei says to Illmirth and Crisaryn with a heavy heart and rises to follow the others downstairs again, ready to see Madame Eva now.
Holding out only a small sliver of hope that any news they would uncover might be positive, Crisaryn nods. "It does seem like there is little to do for her right now." She turns to go as well, before quickly adding, "You did your best to help the woman, Lorelei."
With heavy hearts the team mount the horses and follow Ismark. Maybe Mary would be more coherent at night.
After an hour they see lights twinkling in the woods, each Vardo lit up by lanterns and campfires even at this time in the day. You see colourfully dressed women tending the cooking of rich stews, the smell of which makes your mouth water. You look around trying to find a friendly face amongst the curious eyes. Finally you find Stanimir or rather he finds you.
My friends you came! Welcome to the gathering he says. Are you here to visit with us? Come share salt and wine friends.
You notice Annaletta stirring one of the iron pots, she waves a spoon at you. A waft of spice on the wind comes your way.
Vaelar offered Lorelei a sympathetic shrug at Mad Mary's reluctance, but agreed to join her later in the evening to try again.
Once they arrive at the Vistani camp, it is clear that Vaelar is alert and searching the faces for anyone with the pallid complexion that had plagued him since that fateful night.
"Thanks Crisaryn, but I feel my best is seldom enough." Lorelei says with a small grateful smile to the sorceress.
The young blonde priestess is quiet on the way to the Vistani camp but perks up and smiles again as she spots the colourfully dressed people in the clearing ahead.
"Yes, thank you Stanimir, it is good to see you again. We'll be grateful to share what you are offering, and we are ready to meet with Madame Eva now."She says with a polite bow and a friendly smile to the vistani.
Illmirth's face lights up as they draw near the Vistani camp. The festive style and friendliness of the people put him in a mood to celebrate. He knew that the party had business to attend to with Madam Eva, but he couldn't help the strong desire to grab an instrument and get to the merriment.
The bard greeted Stanimir and Annaletta with a wide smile. "Your hospitality is most welcome," he says with complete sincerity as he drops gracefully to the ground.

Come sit, come all of you take salt and wine as my guests then we can see if Mother Eva is ready to see you, she normally sleeps for a while in the afternoon as she stays awake all night.
Stanimir opened the flap of his tent and left it open for you to follow. He busies himself in the corner amongst the thick carpet and cushions, and then comes back to the seated party with a white bowl filled with salt and a bottle of Dragons Crush wine. He passes some goblets around and liberally pours the wine. I have other bottles Drink!
He takes a pinch of salt and places it on his tongue, then sips on the wine. You have guest right here, do not attack any Vistani and in return they'll not harm you and yours.
Viktor is out with the twin sisters, our Dhampir hunters, we still have Dimitri to avenge. They should be back in a mark or so.
Can you stay the night, we've been boasting about Illmirths skill at music, it would be a kindness to spread such ability.
Illmirth follows Stanimir's lead, placing a pinch of salt on his tongue then following it with a sip of the Dragon Crush wine. He drinks again, smiling at the delicate blend of flavors. "To repay such hospitality with a silent lute would be rude at best, criminal at worst! It would be my great pleasure to play with the talented musicians of your people," he says. "While I cannot speak for the others, I would be most pleased to take you up on your offer. If we celebrate in the grand style of your people I dont think anyone could find their way back if they wanted to!" he adds with a wink.

Crisaryn finds the ride relaxing, and she is pleased when they start to see the twinkling lights and then the vibrantly dressed people. It's as though these people camped out here are the real civilization. Just normal people living their lives, while the town was an oppressive wilderness. She waves to Annaletta as they arrive, though it seems that they are being led in another direction. As she dismounts, she greets Stanamir. "Yes, here to visit and here to see Madam Eva, as Lorelei said." She follows the group as they head inside Stanamir's tent.
She readily accepts the offered salt and drink. She is grateful for others leading the way, as she was unsure of what to do exactly. But she quickly follows Stanamir and Illmirth in placing the salt on her tongue then sipping the wine. "Your offer to stay the night is both generous and tempting. I am not sure if we should be getting back to Ireena and Ismark. Who knows whether their home will be assailed once again tonight. He seemed to hope we would return."
