Is there anything to suggest next of kin, any letters or anything? asks Marrow, trying desperately to cling to some kind of official procedure while trapped in an underground dungeon of undead monsters.
After some searching, Tumal discovers a leather strap necklace that has a wolf's fang on it and a wood-carved symbol of Kelemvor. He looks at Marrow. "Aside from gear, this is all I have found." He looks at the necklace, turning it in his nimble fingers. "I wish I had been able to ask him for his story."
The survivors, as well as a single bound kobold, stand in room marked 14. The room with the curtain is to the north, and a quick glance reveals nothing further of interest there -- bedding and other evidence indicating this plan had been effect for quite some time, and was intended to last for quite a while longer. The tunnel towards Phlan dead ends after a while, as it clear is not complete, but its existence explains the mounds of dirt in the southern portion of the room.
At the mention of further rest, Cassyt shakes her head. "Too much time has already passed since the Thayan escaped. We must tell the Order at once." The initiate looks around, nervous, but trying to appear determined. "If it comes to it, I will go alone."

Casmenos shakes his head, saying, "I will not allow you to go on alone. I am no longer hurt, but I am drained. Pray to Kelemvor we do not face too many more foes this day."
Casmenos will ask Bastian to stealth a little bit ahead of the group and explore the passage straight north from room 12.
Bastian proceeds down the corridor, where is shortly opens into an enormous chamber, far larger than one you have seen before.
It's as if you've entered a subterranean city. The crypts here are modeled after surface homes and other buildings, although they're only about two-thirds the size of their real counterparts.
Coming from somewhere to your left, you hear sounds of scratching and scraping. How far off it's coming from is very difficult to judge in these tunnels.
Cassyt frows at Bastian's words. "If you continued past where we stopped off to deal with this Thayan, you have entered into the mausoleum where our most recently interred rest. Although...," her expression brightens, "if that is the case, the scratching may have simply been the elevator we use to bring bodies, once prepared, down to this level."

Agreed, says Marrow. And we don't really have much choice, so let's press on. Marrow moves forward at Kelvin's side, back to the area Bastian just explored, but not attempting to stealth. He motions for the rest of the group to follow at a short distance. He stops at the entrance to the large chamber, and with his limited ability to see in the dark, attempts to look for threats or other features of note: Perception 21
Moving up to Bastian's area of exploration, you see the corridor open up into an enormous chamber, with crypts an mausoleums stretching back further than your eyes can see. Several dozen feet to your left there is also a door on the wall.
Room 13 on the map. Each icon on the map represents a crypt or tombstone -- they are of wildly different sizes.
Marrow's holding at the entrance way, watching and letting Bastian do his thing. He also quietly holds his sword up to Casmenos and, through silent gestures and facial expressions attempts to indicate that it would be helpful to get a light spell again.

I suppose we can hole ourselves up in the northern part of room 14, past the curtain. One small choke point to defend while we get a long rest?

Marrow hangs back, waiting for Bastian to make a sign that it's safe to follow.
Bastian returns and informs the party that there are more scratching sounds, similar to all the other undead that the party has battled in this crypt.
"That elevator would bring us back to the beginning." Kelvin says, and starts moving towards the mausoleum.

Casmenos will follow the leaders, ready to place himself in front of any serious threat. Bastian will follow from the rear, bow ready for an attack.

The scratching seems to be emanating from a few dozen feet to the west, around the door on the southern wall.
Casmenos will cast Light on Marrow's sword.
Bastian will inform the party he thinks the noises are coming from behind the door to the west. Then he'll go scout the remainder of room 13.
