Caves of the Kobold Slave Masters

Skritch casts create bonfire (DEX save 14, else 1d8 dam = 4 fire damage, per log) right in the smashed window, hoping it either causes damage or makes it harder for the sniper to see out. 

You know what is worse than a crossbow bolt pointed in your direction? It is a crossbow bolt heading in your direction! With that little bit of wisdom, Dealuri sends a bolt in the direction of the bolt (attack 15, damage 8). 

Vakas closes the distance and gets up against the wall, crouching down and out of line of sight of the crossbow, casting false life on himself, getting another 7 points of a shady darkness surrounding him and bolstering him.  He looks to see how far away the crossbow is, thinking he might be able to snatch the crossbow or bolt out of their hands.  

Skritch you light your fire in front of the window and hear a yelp from inside as someone or something stumbles back from the opening. You also hear a screech from behind as the fire catches the attention of one of the winged demons. It has not spotted you all yet but it is only a matter of time.

Dealuri you send your bolt flying through the gap as you all move toward the building and hear a further cry of pain as it hits home. 

Vakas you make the outer wall of the building but the gap is now obscured by the magical fire. Also, it seems that what ever was hidden there has now stumbled back further into the building. You crouch between the window and the door, which remains closed. In the distance you see that the building has caught the attention of one of the demons. It sits head cocked to one side, it's eyes fixed on the flickering fire.

Vakas hisses “Put that out!  They see it!”  He looks for a door to enter or window to go through to enter the building, and does so.  

Skritch is so surprised to be hissed at that he drops the create bonfire spell whether he thought it was a good idea or not. 

Aware the adversaries could be on them any second, he urges Sunhill towards the western door. (OoC: Think I've got that orientation correct?) 

OOC: I think you mean east? :)

Vakas you find the door to be blocked by debris but it gives way with a strong push and suddenly you are inside the building. This appears to have once been a home, perhaps for the gatekeeper. It is sparsely decorated; and most of the furniture has been dismantled to build barricades inside and to board up the windows. You see a human woman lying on the ground in the far corner. Her face is black from bonfire soot and a crossbow bolt is stuck in her right shoulder. Her own crossbow lies on the ground discarded as she looks at you with eyes wide with fear.

Outside the demon seems to have lost interest now the fire has been doused. Do the rest of you enter?
