Dealuri your bolt flies wide. (With a 21) you focus on your senses and immediately the stench of the dead and dying assails your senses. You ruthlessly push this aside and quest into the thick smell of the smoke trying to find some note that will give you a hint to the prisoners health. Sweat, blood but no decay? The hints are faint and fading, the smoke consuming all. (OOC: FYI you were in melee with that kobold in front of you).
Rachus you retreat behind the dragon ducking away from the slavers attacks.
Vakas, Skritch and Dealuri make DEX saving throw DC 14 or take 8 acid damage as the kobold emerges from the smoke cloud and throws a flask in your direction. The flask splashes spraying acid over the three of you and the two nearby kobolds. The one opposite you Dealuri fall to the ground dead. The kobold slips back into the smoke cloud and out of sight.
Still taking damage the dragon kills three more of the creatures and suddenly roars in frustration as the salver (1) throws its net onto the beast. It struggles violently, finding itself restrained.
Thanadol sends a firebolt toward the closest slaver (2) Attack: 8 Damage: 3
Vakas shakes himself as he is suddenly doused with acid, cursing under his breath. (Dex save : 13). He moves 15 feet to the west and lines up the kobold slaver #2 with his short bow, taking a shot at him. He was hidden in the shadows, but still took splash damage from the acid.
Short bow : 13 to hit, for 7 points of piercing damage, 4 sneak attack damage, and 2 points of electrical damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(Ooc, just wondering what happened to the 'bold I smacked then dove back from? Was the hit enough to do it in? Did it swipe at me, AC15, as I stepped back? Did it come after me and take the BB damage? Or has none of that happened yet? Or was all my stuff against the one that was killed by the acid, so it doesn't matter?)
(OOC: I think my above attack has been negated by the acid death of the 'bold in front of Dealuri? In which case...)
Skritch chitters like a maniac, charging at the next nearest enemy (4), and smacks at him with his magicked club!
Attack: 6+5=11, Dam: 7+3=10, Booming Blade dam (if it moves): 5
And - IF he hit - Skritch does what he’d meant to do before: He jumps back, risking the AOO, and tele-taunts his sound-surrounded victim to come get him!
Okay. In that case, Skritch will stand where he is then, his shield up and hoping he doesn't attract too much agro.
He's holding his action. Trigger: The kobold with the flasks emerges from the smoke again to hurl more flasks.
Action: When he sees the kobold ready to throw his flask, Skritch Catapults the lump of metal (the one he had collected earlier in the armoury) at the flask, to smash it in the 'bold's hands. Hoping it spills acid or whatever is in the flask, all over the 'bold.
(Dex saving throw, if relevant, is DC13. Catapult damage, if relevant, is: 3d8: 14 dam)
Seeing that the others likely have the kobold slaver handled, Vakas starts to move north, dashing if he needs to, aiming to enter the cloud of fog. As he’s moving, he straps his bow over his back and shoulder, stowing it away. He does not attack, but moves into the cloud if he can make it there, listening for sounds of movement, for sounds of the restrained captive, but also footfalls of the kobold with the potions, trying to determine his position.
Movement : 30 feet north
Action : Dashes another 30 feet north to enter the cloud.
Perception : to hear location of where the kobold or the prisoner are within the cloud : 7

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Rachus your starry whisp zips through the air to strike the slaver. It is only a glancing blow, but is enough to end the creatures sorry life.
Skritch you hold your action to catapult a projectile toward the kobold as Vakas you race forward and enter the cloud. The smoke overwhelms your senses and you are temporarily disorientated.
(OOC: Because I am not pure evil I will point out that breaking the flask will cause AOE damage and you now have both the prisoner and Vakas in the cloud with the kobold.)
Thandol runs out into the room and cast gust on the smoke cloud. It is not enough to disperse the smoke completely but it does move it enough to reveal Vakas and the prisoner. You can also see the movement of the kobold in what remains of the cloud giving it only partial cover. Skrich it is decision time... do you release that catapult?
The dragon is looking bloodied but it only has one opponent remaining, fighting for dear life!
OOC: Aargh, no. Don't know how alive the prisoner is. Will waste my action and spell slot (am okay with that, that's how Held Actions work, after all).
Skritch thinks better of splashing acid everywhere.
Rachus moves to help the dragon and thinks I am actually helping a dragon that wanted to eat me. What a strange day this had been, and I am not sure anyone would believe me
He fires a bolt of light at the last kobold attacking the dragon
OOC: Half cover gives a +2 to AC but not disadvantage
Skritch you aim your firebolt at the shadowed form in the cloud and hear a yelp of pain as it hits home.
Rachus you cast your wisp at the kobold striking it on the shoulder. The dragon briefly turns from the battle to look at you curiously before turning its head once more to the enemy chuckling to itself. The killing stroke is almost casual as the dragons tail whips round and skewers the creature. It's battle done the dragon sets about feasting on kobold flesh.
Seeing that all is lost the remaining kobold charges from the cloud screaming wildly as it waves two flasks of liquid above its head. It races toward you Dealuri, Skritch and Thanadol and once in range slams the flasks together above its head. The kobold is blown into pink mist. The three of you need to make a DC 14 DEX saving throw or take 11 fire damage. Half of that on a success.
Dex save = 10+1=11. Fail. Skritch takes the full 11 fire damage. He's still standing, but barely. It's enough.
Skritch broadcasts to the group, "I have some Medical knowledge (OOC: Medicine+5). Our wizard needs to be what is medically known as 'Stabilised'. I don't have time to go into detail, but it’s what medical professionals call 'not dying'.
"If anyone has more medical skill, I'll help you, otherwise please, please help me help Thanadol. Please."
Skritch doesn't even notice that, when it matters, he doesn't stutter or pause for the right word.
(OOC: Here are a series of Medicine rolls, in order, attempting to stabilise the Tee-man. Use them in groups of two, if we get advantage, otherwise just use the first few as sequential efforts.
If/when(!) the Wizard is stabilised, then Skritch will seek to help the prisoner, if they are unconscious. So just work through the rolls in order. Hope that is useful.)
Medicine rolls: 6+5=11, 14+5=19, 9+5=14, 16+5=21, 15+5=20, 16+5=21.
Skritch, still smoking with patches of fur burnt completely away. Looks up from the patient/s. Hopefully, it will be enough...
Skritch you waste no time using your medical expertise to stabilise both Thanadol and the prisoner. The wizards eyes flutter open as Sunhill pads over and starts licking his face. He is still in a bad way but no longer in danger of expiring.
"My thanks," the prisoner manages before breaking into a coughing fit. He is chained fast to the wall and bears the marks of various cruel tortures inflicted on him by the Kobolds.
Ember comes to stand at your side Rachus, her eyes wide with terror as she watches the feeding dragon. For the moment the huge beast seems to have forgotten you all.
Skritch gives the prisoner some room. On account of the coughing. Apparently, on this plane, it's possible for some poor folks to be allergic to fur.
Poor things.
"Nice revivalling assist there, noble Sunhill," he sends to noble Sunhill. "Come."
(He leaves Vakas to unpick the shackles, and someone far more impressive than himself to liaise with the dragon)
He takes Sunhill's reins and leads him for an explore of the room (he does not want either of them to wander onto the dragon's chacouterie board!). He'll take particular interest in the crate of flasks that the IEK* had been previously carrying, that’s if it had been left in the smoke before it charged Skritch n the gang...
Rachus was able to sidestep the Kobold Slaver and in kind he tries to stab him with his rapier only to miss.
6 to hit - miss
Bonus Action
Nimble Escape - disengage and move towards the western wall behind the dragon.
Reaction if hit - silvery barbs where the Kobold Slaver needs to make another roll with disadvantage and Rachus will give advantage to Dealuri.
End of turn.

Skritch you do indeed find the abandoned crate and in it you find :
Alchemist's Fire x 1
Alchemist’s Doom x1
Oil (flask) x 3
Acid (vial) x 5
DM - Warlock of Firetop Mountain
Skritch will take the Doom and 1 Acid vial. These will be excellent, he thinks, to Catapult at some future date.
He will tell everyone what's in there and leave the rest for others to distribute among themselves as they see fit.
Anything no one else wants, and that he and Sunhill can carry in their backpack and saddlebags, he'll take.
(OOC: DM, am not sure of the best way to handle logistics like this in a pbp. Appreciate any guidance!)
