Rachus is glad that fierce words and a bear deterred the bandits "Hopefully we won't run into more bandits though I am glad to have companions that can scare the souls out of those scoundrels."
He is also glad that we have now gained a cart for Elvyn to rest and walks near the cart to hear Elvyn's answer.
If, by the time Skritch has returned to his mighty-but-tiny squirrel form, no one has searched the cart, Skritch will jump in and toss the joint.
Who knows, might be a few arrows or bolts, some coin, an innocent pouch left by Gendrin by accident full of goodies, an innocent Bag of Holding left by Goodrin full of who-cares-it's-a-bag-of-holding!
So, like I said, only if someone else hasn't already done it, Skritch politely telepaths Elvyn, "Dear esteemed sir, I hope you won't mind if I scurry hither and, er, yon in this vehicle giving it a bit of a once over?"
Vakas smiles as their ruse worked and they now had this mended cart as well. “Great job everyone. Skritch, you are pretty darn scary as a bear. Amazing.. Let’s keep moving. I’m going to look for a spot to stop and rest..”. Vakas leads and looks for a safe out of the way spot to make camp as they continue their journey.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Skritch lets everyone know that, providing we don’t get into a scrap before bed time that needs Goodberry revivals, he should finish up with 8 geebees, which will be enough to provide all with a satisfactory evening meal.
(OOC: DM, just checking if a long rest will remove Skritch's Heroic Inspo from earlier in the day? If so, he'll make sure to use it on a favourable roll b4 bedtime!)
Rachus settles in and takes a berry thanking Skritch for their evening meal. Then before heading to bed he says "I will take a shift at watch. In case those bandits find their courage again"
Watch? Why do we need a watch, I don't truly go to sleep. Thannadol says chuckling. I only go into a trance. Well anyway, time for lights out, nighty night.
"That is true Thanadol. In my head I thought you just needed a bit of sleep. In that case off to bed I go. Night everyone" says Rachus as he crawls into his bedroll.
Dealuri spends some time near Thanadol in the hopes of picking up some magic tips along the way. She is particularly interested in learning if his inner thoughts are a swirl of emotion, some of which are quite dark and violent. These thoughts started with the mark the hag left her and intensified when she learned she had rudimentary abilities as a sorcerer.
Dismissed from your watch Rachus you take to your bedroll and Ember comes to sit along side you for a time. She seems to have something on her mind and at last she asks, "What was it like being raised around humans and elves?"
Dealuri during the late hours Elvyn takes a seat beside you, "Dealuri isn't it?" he asks, "Can I ask... I mean," he gestures toward your eyes, "Your eyes they changed when we left the caverns and now they... well they reflect the light like a cat or a fox? It is uncanny..." he fumbles over his words, clearly seeking an explanation but not knowing how to express it.
Last thing before knocking off for the eve, Sktitch uses some Druidcraft to make sure they're adequately sheltered for the night, and to get an idea of the weather for the day ahead.
First thing in the morning he'll refresh his geebees.
"I would say it was a blessing and a curse growing up with humans and others. The blessing is that I was exposed to different ways of thinking and was able to receive an education so I can read, write, and learn about music. The curse is the need to prove that my family are not savages. My parents took any jobs they could get which was not easy as we are goblins. For years my father worked as a laborer and my mother sewed all day long as a seamstress. They finally caught a lucky break when an aging cobbler hired my parents at first for odd jobs but in time, she saw how good hearted they were and soon after took my parents in as apprentices. When Old Mallory passed, she bequeathed her shop to my parents. Their hard worked paid off and they were able to carve out a better life for themselves and me."
Says Rachus as he remembered rarely seeing his parents when his was really young, as they were working too hard.
Vakas takes a goodberry as well, he’s pleased when it fills his stomach, he feels full without feeling stuffed, a comfortable feeling. “Thank you, Skritch. Thanadol and I can keep watch, he only needs 4 hours of rest like I do, we will alternate watches, I can meditate and keep an eye out for things on watch, all of you can rest. The alarm spell will help too. We will keep moving in the morning. Goodnight everyone..”. Vakas finds an appropriate space and sits in a comfortable fashion, taking first watch. He cocks his head, listening to the tale from Rachus, curious about the goblin’s past.

You know, I'll have to teach Dealuri some more about magic, might be more helpful than strapping wings to her.

OOC: I am happy for heroic inspiration to remain until used. Though it does not stack so if you get it again you waste the old one :)
(With a 17) Vakas you locate a comfortable campsite next to a babbling brook. It would be idyllic if not for the heavy grey clouds pressing overhead.
Does the party have any business before they take a long rest?
