“I have oil and a tinder box to burn the door open,” says Dealuri brightly. “Oh yeah, or I could cast a spell to create a bonfire. It’s fun to set stuff on fire.” She adds with a mischievous grin.
Skritch doesn't think he has any useful door related skills. But he thinks he CAN help with Jemile's burns (if they're bad enough to need treatment).
He offers Jemile a Goodberry and advises them to squeeze a bit of its juice onto their palms and really mush it in there, over the blistered area, then they should enjoy the rest of the berry in the conventional way.
"... By, er, eating it..." he clarifies, just in case Jemile had other ways they conventionally enjoyed berries.
Seeing the key burn Jemile, Rachus checks to see if there are any smoke suffusing through the door or anything suspicious that could explain why the key now burns.
"Hold off on the burning Dealuri as we need to figure out what caused the key to turn to red hot"
Vakas kneels about 5-10 feet away from the door, then reaches out toward it with his hand, but instead, a glowing, ethereal mage hand extends out toward the door and the lock. The mage hand is able to grip the white hot key and turns it, wiggling it, moving it just so to try and unlock the door, getting it open. "C'mon, open up...."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Jemile looks a little horrified by the suggestion that the door should be burned down, and then grateful as the idea you does not seem to resonate with the group. They accept the berry gratefully and follow your instructions to the letter Skritch, looking somewhat puzzled as to what else they might do with the item.
"My thanks." they smile in relief as the Goodberry does its work.
Rachus (with a 24) you would surmise that the key has been heated through magical means. There are no physical signs of traps and both Jemile and the two acolytes look surprised by the occurrence.
Vakas (with a 15) your mage hand does the trick, turning the key in the lock and allowing the door to swing open.
"It would appear that the spirits are more restless than is their norm." Jemile says as she leads you inside, "Be on your guard."
You follow and find yourselves in a wide antechamber. It is a pleasant, rectangular room with stone seats and tables for up to a dozen people. The room is lined with bronze plates that emit a magical blue light that casts no shadow. There’s also a small fountain with clear, fresh water on the left hand wall. All in all, the room is pleasant to be in, and it soothes aches and pains of the mind and body. The soft babble of the fountain is accompanied by the almost inaudible sound of whispered voices.
Everyone make a Perception check and a wisdom check.
Vakas smiles as he is successful with the lock pick, he moves inside and stops, looking around and listening. He listens to the warning from Jemile, and he heeds it. He stands completely still, listening and looking for threats.

While slightly disappointed that she couldn’t use her new abilities to burn stuff, Dealuri is happy to get into the room. “Good job, Vakas!” She looks around and listens to the conflicting sounds of the fountain and the whispers.
Skritch you watch as Sunhill yawns and settles down at the foot of the table, pawing at the ground sleepily before closing his eyes and releasing a satisfied growl. You feel something clawing at your own consciousness but (with an 18) manage to shrug it away. Thanadol stands next to you shaking his head, clearly trying to fight off the same effect.
Vakas the drip of the water and the barely heard whispers begin to consume your mind and you see (with a 19) as if in a dream that the entrance to the room suddenly begins to close behind you, the two acolytes beyond already slumping to the ground in sleep. With your elven heritage fighting the effects of the room make a Dex check with disadvantage if you want to try to stop it closing.
Dealuri you see Jemile drop like a stone, their eyes rolling upward and as you look down at her with a puzzled expression they seem to be growing closer, or you are floating toward them? The last thing you remember is how comfortable Jemile is as you drift into a deep sleep.
Rachus the whispers and the water fill your mind and you smile dreamily as you enjoy the soothing sounds. A small part of your mind screams out a warning but sleep calls you into its bewitching trance and the world goes dark.
Not seeing the door closing (OOC: I presume that's the outcome of Skritch's 6 perception roll), Skritch sets about waking everybody up, starting with Thanadol and Vakas who see best able to resist the effects. He gets in each character's face, one after the other and squirrel screams at them vocally as loud and high pitched as he can while also mindscreaming at them, "WAAAAAKKKEEE UUUUUPPP!!!!"
And biting them on the nose.
Then going from one to the other checking them, with great concern and wringing hands, to see if that woke them.
Vakas retains clarity of thought through the profound sleepiness of the room, but does not move in his characteristic light footed speed as he turns to the door. He moves however, shoving himself forward and attempts to prevent the door from closing, mind racing as to next steps as he sees the party fall to the floor in slumber. He reaches his hands out to grasp the door, moving as fast as he can..

Dealuri dreams of running with the wolves in a snowy forest. The snow crunches under her paws as she moves along under the green pines. The grey midday sky does not look threatening or inviting but hints at the determination needed to survive in the wild. Suddenly, she registers a change in the emotion of the pack and catches the whiff of prey on the wind. She turns and turns to look for the victim before realizing her sense of smell would be the best tool for the job. She resumes turning, only to see the pack looking at her. Her hackles rise in their own as she bears her teeth. “So this is how it is meant to be, “ she thinks. “Well, I am ready.”
Rachus tries to scream to do anything to get out of the room, but his limbs would not obey him but wait why was he trying to leave again the sound of the water is so relaxing. Pushing that small voice aside he slumps to the ground asleep.

(Just adding Sunhill here in case it's needed: Perception = 7 + 3 = 10 // Wisdom = 10 + 1 = 11)
