Rachus furrows his brow "There are necrotic energy among the shades but that sickly energy is not just necrotic but radiant energy as well. That was something I did not expect. Each pulse quickens the shades. Tread carefully everyone as I see no way of dispelling it. Perhaps Thanadol's search will reveal something"
Thanadol you walk confidently out into the room filled with undead spirits. Examining the sarcophagi (with a 13) you note that they are ornate but not unusual. Most of them bear the name of the departed with a short passage beneath marking their achievements in life. Many of them a etched with a crude image that represents the deceased and their hope in an afterlife. As you wander too and fro (with a 14) you note that the spirits are starting to become interested in your presence, and more so the closer you get to the arch; until at last you are faced with a solid wall of the hollow eyed creatures that gather before you and begin to reach out. (With a 21) you are pretty certain that you dont want them touching you and aided by the words of Rachus it is clear to you that the source of the problem is coming from beyond that arch.
Dealuri you follow the wizard in and from your vantage you see them start to take interest in his investigations as they slowly gather in your path.
Rachus, Vakas and Skritch you enter the room. Rachus you continue to see the steady pulse of radiant and necrotic energy coming from the archway and as the spirits gather the pulse begins to quicken.
Jemile stands in the doorway watching with interest. They clearly do not know how to deal with this situation and are waiting to see what you will all do.
Vakas walks forward, stopping as the others cast their spells and examine what lies beyond in the archway. He looks at the shades, trying to get a count of how many are here, how many have noticed them, how many look … aggressive. He shivers for a second, then begins to wave his hands around in the air, chanting a few words and he seems to feel bolder, protected from these undead beings, perhaps just a little bit. He watches and then says to Thanadol, "Do you have anything to blow them out of that archway, so we can see what lies beyond?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ahh yes. I do have just the spell! But would they take kindly to being blown... Well, let's find out. Curiosity sparked and magic preped Thanadol casts Gust attempting to blow them away and gage their reaction.

Skritch has Dealuri's back. And by that he means her side. He trots in beside her on Sunhill.

Skritch would hate to get a whole church offside by doing the wrong thing.
He Messages Jemile, "Good Jemile, if needs be may we fight these poor souls? ... Asking for a, er, for a friend."
