Lucan chimes in,"Dalia, It could be that someone is simply watching you using scouts along the five paths so that no matter which one you take it would be passed on to the bandits who are attacking your caravans. I suppose a well funded organization could have bandit groups on each route, but that seems a bit much. Do you know the number of bandit and is it the same each time? We could hideout in the wagons as a surprise to the bandits as well as have some cover."
Lucan looks to the others for any possible adjustment to his idea.

Now that they were talking business Salty wanted to know what they might be getting into. "How many guards 'er ye fer havin' 'n where're they comin' from. What number o' knaves fell on yer shipment, and were they fer havin' anything unusual 'bout 'em, matchin' tattoos, same colorin' fer cloths, anything ye recalls is fer bein' helpful."
Krakan smiles and speaks to her, “Dalia, we heard a rumor that someone was trying to buy you out, after going through all of this, the repeated attacks and so forth. Who was it, that was attempting to buy you out? Did they present legal papers, or a formal offer? Have they kept trying, or been back in touch with you? We are wondering if someone is trying to exert significant pressure on you, and this may relate to another matter that we are looking into. Finally, do you know some of the names of the guards that were with you? Or where they might have been hired? Thank you so much.. in the end, I feel that we can help each other by gaining full understanding.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Dalia considers the questions and takes a moment before answering
I always hire six guards
First time I hired from Iron Road Company
Second time I hired from Banner and Blade company
The third and most recent time I hired fighters from the Pit
For names I only know the leader of the guards - Shahbaz of the Iron Road, Zand of Banner and Blade, and Daryani of the Pit.
The thieving bastards dressed roughly similar as thugs tend to do in boiled leather armor and worn armor plates, though I don't think they are the same bandits from each attack, but I cannot be sure as I was more focused on surviving. I think a saw a tattoo of a snake or lizard but that is a rather common tattoo.
Yes Mr. Rostami has come by and made a generous offer. He came a few times, and he is insistent that I sell. I think I have one more run in me, but I got to consider my employees, and I have a large bill I need to take care of as a well.
She then hands to document of the offer that has crisp quick penmanship with the offer being 50,000 gp.
This offer includes:
All titled lands currently registered under Dalia's name
All permanent structures, warehouses, drying barns, wells, and residential dwellings
Existing spice stock in storage or transit
Contracts with local laborers, caravan handlers, and bonded guards
Exclusive rights to your trade route designations and merchant seals
Should you decline, please be advised that I must pursue other routes to secure this strategic trade position — but it remains my earnest hope that we may reach an agreement amicably and without delay
"I'm not fer pointin' fingers at a man what ain't here to tells his side, but yer man be du common thread. Is Mustapha fer travelin' wit ye on yer tradin' routes? Rosmati's fer offerin' a fortune in me eyes, 'er ye thinkin' the coins fer bein' fair trade fer what he asks? Might be Mustapha agrees fer some coin to helps push ye along fer sellin'. Meanin' no offense, I'm just fer sayin' me mind 'n thinkin' on all maybes."

Dalia says "Mustapha stays and helps me run the spice farms and does not travel with me. I do not believe he is involved. The 50,000 is a very generous offer and yes, I am considering it as you can see my store is nearly bare and this business is not sustainable if it continues this way"
“A generous offer, perhaps, but let us not confuse generosity with fairness. If your troubles with the bandits had never occurred, what price would you truly place upon your livelihood?” Samir responds.
"If my business was going as usual, I would not sell it at all though my business would be worth 60,000 gp but that is not the case as you can see" says Dalia as she frowns looking are her bare shelves.
"One way fer knowin'," the orc says. "Plan yer route quiet like, gives him a fake way. Tells us where fer meetin' up, but keep quiet yer path. Samir speaks true, ain't no fair 'bout pushin' folk to do what they ain't fer doin'."

Dalia looks uncomfortable with lying to her Majordomo. "You don't understand Mustapha became like a second father for me after my own father passed. To even think he is purposefully destroying what he help grow is unthinkable"
"If'n we're fer findin' truth, we're fer needin' a rule him out," he says sympatheticly. "If he's not fer knowin' 'n ye're bandits 'er fer appearin' den ye know fer sure."
He gives Samir a little glance, hoping to get a bit of help with his convincing.

She may need some convincing.
