“Should we ask Dalia to cover any of the cost of a camel? She may not be willing to do so… I agree with carrying extra water. I can chip in 15 gold or so, how much do the rest of you have?” Krakan looks to the rest of them as they are gathering items prior to the trip. “Anything else we will need?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I'm fer havin' 'bout da same," he replies to Krakan.
"Valkur's fer showin' me to make sea water ok fer drinkin', 'n Samir's fer conjurin' up water. We're fer bein' OK wit dat. Shoulda checked wit Dalia fer payin' but da poor lass be'n 'n deep wit bandits 'n such."
"Durn, needs fer runnin' back to yon surf. Done forgot somethin' what need'd doin', needin' but a minute."
Salty gives his 15 GP to Krakan to procure a camel for the journey across the sands. When the team is ready to hit the used camel lot he high tails it to the beach. He fills the jar he bought earlier with sea water. The blue haired orc wanted to do right by Daliah and Malik, but he was a bit nervous about moving away from the coast. He figured that taking a bit o' the sea with him is the next best thing to being there. He then scoops up a bit of water and runs it through his hair, shaking his head like a dog. His grooming was complete. He heads back to the team.
***OoC: Salty is keeping his eyes peeled for trouble. He would not be offended if somebody wanted to tag along, but he wouldn't necessarily bring it up either. Perception: 21***
Lucan mumbles a bit, he isn't fond of letting his coin go, but he settles on 10gp for the groups expenses as he discusses possibly bartering before they start buying their goods,"I wonder if we can persuade the seller to drop the price a bit. If someone feels like they have the gift of gab. I can offer 10gp and I have a little more I'm hanging on to but if it's really needed we can chat. I am getting an extra waterskin for myself. Most of my stuff I will share if the need is really urgent."

"I am not gifted in the art of persuasion. All I can offer is blessings from the gods," Samir says, "though, the value of that is dependent upon the ones blessed."
Salty returns as the group just as the used camel salesman is telling them about a real gem; sheltered in a barn, old lady owner only ever rode it to church, excellent water milage for cross desert expeditions, etc. The orc inspects the beast with a critical eye, but with his knowledge of animals that didn't amount to much. Scooting up near Samir he asks quietly, "Can ye magic me up fer bein' friendlier?" He flashes Samir a quick used camel salesman smile of his own; there is no doubt that he needs all the help he can get.
"A fine pile o' beasts ye have," he says to the animal merchant. "Surin' yon humphorse is fit fer her majesty. Bein' but humble wanderers we're fer needin' what carries 'er stuff, not 'er arses. Have ye a pack carryin' humphorse fer 40 gold?" Salty flashes the vendor his best disarming smile,.which turns out to be all tusks and most unsettling to the average person.
***OoC: persuasion: 7 if Samir catches his ask add 1 for guidance. Ugh***
