"I'm sorry to hear that," Miss d'Vown shakes her head as she sympathizes with Willie. "It would seem that warforged they apprehended came to life just long enough to implicate you before it apparently self-destructed." She sighs as if such things can't be helped. "I know it may be a bit rude of me to say, but, once I heard a few from the noble house Ghallanda were among the accused, I just knew it couldn't be true. I did a bit of... finagling and made sure only House Tharashk would grab your bid. Thankfully, the reputable Jana was the one who was sent."
The whole time Elaydren d'Vown speaks, she carries a tone of whimsy. She smiles as she watches Yrwin speak with his mouth full of food, nods at each speaker, and generally seems to make polite conversation. However, those of you with a passive insight of 12 or better get the feeling she is sizing you up. You feel that she definitely knows more than she lets on.
"As you know, that warforged killed Bonal Geldem, but it could hardly be considered a murderer," d'Vown shakes her head solemnly. "No, think of it like this... A warforged is just a tool. To prove your innocence, I think you will have to discover who sent the tool to do their killing for them. I think we can help each other out in this regard... What do you think?"

Willie just really wants to get back to cooking, and perhaps finding a nice woman for Yrwin. She's inclined to tell them all off, to hells with it, and let them solve their own stupid mystery. But then, if she does that, Yrwin will end up back behind bars and then what? He's not getting any younger.
"Humpf. Fine, whatever. Let's get this over with," she huffs.
(lmao Willie going "tick-tock" over Yrwin's bachelor lifestyle)
"I completely understand,"Miss d'Vown smiles as she closes her eyes. She seems to be looking for the right words. "Provost Geldem and I were working together on something important to me. You see, Bonal believed he discovered the location of a pre-Galifar foundry here in Sharn. I was going to fund an expedition to the site, but without Bonal..." Her voice trails off. Then she leans in close. "I believe someone else learned about this foundry and killed Bonal to get to it. They sent that Warforged to retrieve the journal," d'Vown looks directly at the Kithkin each, "but it didn't seem to have the journal on them. Perhaps you would be willing to recover this heirloom for me. For a generous reward, of course. Either you cross paths with the mastermind behind this killing, or well..." d'Vown shakes her head as her grin grows wide, "I could just make the charges disappear."

Willie stumbles at the force of Yrwin's blow. She severely dislikes this woman. This is blackmail, pure and simple. She makes a mental note. When she is older, and more powerful, she is going to teach this woman a lesson.
"I am much more of a dinner man myself. Desserts and baking is more Willies forte" , the chubby kithkin responds to his non-relative. He then fixes Willies hair with an anxious smile upon his face. "Sorry cuz, nervous that's all. I guess.." A long pause ensues as Yrwin visibly pockets the rest of the bisquits. "I guess I'm in. Everything is better than 3 meals a day in a cold cell." A cold shiver goes down Yrwins spine as he utters the words "3 meals", everyone can clearly see the hairs on his arms and the back of his neck rise.
Darnic nods, “That’s right. Really, some of those aren’t even really a meal. So it’s more like one and a half meals a day. Do you really think it would be worth it? The only way out is for us to find this journal. Which reminds me, what more will you be providing in our search for this? "It's too late Cuz, you already ate the poor man's apple" Archy says with a tone of deep faux concern. It's not true, Yrwin was much too concerned with his cookies at the time.
"Very well." Archy reluctantly acquiesces, plopping the satchel on the table. He pulls out the assailants hand crossbow and sets it on the table first. Ready but out of reach of the woman. Then he slides the book across the table. "Please, do."
"My, what a threatening gesture," d'Vown reaches her hand toward the book. Her signet ring and the mithral threads on the cover glow in unison as she takes hold of the small book. When she opens it, the blank pages immediately begin to fill with delicate script and line drawings as if they were being penned at that moment by several hands. She seems to know what she's looking for as she flips to a specific page. After a moment of study, she pulls out a folded parchment from the inside of her cloak and spreads it over the table. Facing you is a map.
"The location of the lost foundry is deep within the Dorasharn Tower," Miss d'Vown proclaims, "Fifty-seven levels below the tower's present-day sewer system.
