The room confuses Chubby to no end. He just stands there, alternating between scratching his head and his butt. “I don’t get it, guys. I just don’t get it. What is this place? Crispy, luv, you ever seen anything like this before?”
After glancing at Wedge and seeing him freaking out a little, Mr. Bigs pulls out his focus again, holds it before his eyes, and says something in a tongue that frankly no mortal body should've been able to emulate, let alone conceive of as a possibility. And in the brief moment he spoke the words, feelings of confusion, concern, or amusement are felt, if not amplified. [Deep Speech]"Rod of Immaculate Desperation. Grant me sight beyond SIGHT."
His eyes become burning blue embers if the spell is completed without issue. With his vision thus enhanced by the spell See Invisibility, his gaze pierces into the ethereal plane, rendering the invisible-visible, be it creature or object. He immediately turns his attention to the space around Immo. "Now let's here..." He says in surface common with an easy going smile as he puts the rod away.
Bigz' spell takes effect, and after a few moments.. he realizes he see's nothing different.. it all still appears to be the same...... All the same holes, in all the same places.

Why did they lead me here? Evrik asks himself. "Aahh! All of you, stay away from me." Evrik begins to shiver uncontrollably, his stomach in knots. "This place... it sickens me. What have you done!?" He stands, slightly hunched with his front teeth beginning to protrude a little and begins scurrying from hole to hole. "How do we get out? It's coming after us!" (Perception: 13) Searching and searching for a way out, Evrik continues to move from hole to hole without regard to his safety or whereabouts. (Attack: 11 Damage: 4) He momentarily looks up to see Chubby in his way and he lashes out with the nails of his right hand swiping at the Dwarfs face but missing entirely, "You! Stay away! You're in league with it." He continues shaking and moving aimlessly searching for a way out.

As madness starts to engulf two of the people in the group, those who pass their saves would hear an echo.. that seemed simultaneously in their minds, as well as in the room itself. Ha ha ha..! You sought to flee from Demogorgon? You can never escape.. mortals. You will all suffer in madness, clawing out your own innards for my amusement. That will be your reward for setting me free upon the mortal plane. The demon lords will rise, and conquer your world.. for who among this world can stop us? you hear his laughter fading into the background, but you still seem trapped within this roomlike-tunnel hole.
As Evrik scurries about frantically, inspecting every hole, whatever appendage he was using to inspect the holes would keep seeming to hit something solid before actually making it into the hole, and all the holes on the floor would leave it feeling as though it had gotten freeze-burnt. But no matter where he scurried, he always seemed to be met with a solid surface.
Mr. Biggs blinks owlishly, looks around slowly, pats his person down for a few seconds, and then finally fishes out his smoking supplies. It is only after he gets it going and takes one good drag of its contents that he finally says with the pipe hanging out of his mouth, "Why is that dwarf over there scurrying around?"He blinks again and then turns to look at the monkey still flying about, "Huh... Ain't that a cutie. Come're you." He reaches out to try and grab it when something tingles in the back of his mind.
After staring at it for a solid minute, Biggs simply goes, "Huh"before turning his attention back to the others without having grabbed the monkey. While staying mindful of the strange dwarf scurrying from place to place, Biggs walks over to the far side of the cavern and starts trying to push at the stone between holes.

Evrik collects himself as best as he can. He continues to shiver and the unease in his stomach becomes painful. I have to get out of here, he thinks, something, someone, I've got to get out. He stops scurrying a moment, then kneels down. He takes one of Topsy's shortswords and plunges it into one of the holes in the floor. "Let me out!", he cries.

After connecting with this unseen object, Immotichey grimaces but does not take his hand away. He continues to probe and follow the structure trying to glean more information. The druid looks up from his investigation at Mr. Biggs' question and gives the bugbear a curious look. "What do you mean..? You were there when he got bit by that one and her friend," he nods towards wererat.
Bigz's hands never seem to actually push into the holes, however it feels as though volcanic lava is on the other side of them, the ones on the wall, that is. He can clearly see the holes... but his fingers always seem to hit something solid before entering them. As Evrik strikes at the ground with one of the swords, the holes spark in impossible places as there shouldn't be anything there.
As Immotichey's hand caresses the unseen object, he would notice it was cylindrical, slowly shrinking near the tip, before it mushroomed out, and as he stroked down, it got thicker...it felt as solid as a rock, and as rough as one too.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chubby still just stands there, where he first entered this weird beehive, pondering what to do. As he watches the rest of the crew experimenting with the holes, some appearing to go a little batty, he wracks his brain trying to remember if he's ever seen or heard of anything like this before (History: 15). Suddenly, a little spark of light pops out of both ears....for his two brain cells have connected for the first time in decades!
Mr. Biggs winces and shakes his hand a few times as if burned for a second. "I was?" He asks with a mouth full bugbear thumb. "Huh... You'd think I remember that sorta thing. Then again, I don't even remember how I got here, or who you folk are. But eh, it wouldn't be the first time my I've woken up in strange places with strange people. In fact, there was this...."Biggs' bushy brows furrow together.
"That's... weird. Hey. Any of you seen an illithid around here?"He asks just as nonchalant as ever. "Also... why are you fondling the air, Mr. Lizard?"Biggs asks, raising a brow at the Lizardfolk. "You doing some sort of after-getting-blacked-out-drunk ritual dance? Cause I dig it. Very... Not sensual. But entertaining."At that Biggs looks up to monkey. "Hey... you... Flying Monkey guy you. Mind doing us a favor and seeing what's up with those tunnels up top?"The monkey in turn gives Biggs the finger before doing as he was requested, much to the further obvious confusion of the bugbear. "Well that was awfully rude."

Chubby scours his brains, as small as they are, and comes to the conclusion that no such thing like this should exist. There is no creature he's ever heard of even one that lives in packs, that would make so many small tunnels to a single location... and even if there were, that wouldn't explain the sudden darkness, and the fact that their entry tunnel had disappeared entirely. Perhaps something about this wasn't real. Especially considering all this extreme cold and heat doesn't actually seem to cause any actual harm....
On top of which, there was that Demon lords voice that everyone seems to have payed no attention to at all. (angry DM fist shaking)
The Nimbat would fly up to inspect the upper tunnels, and just as he reached one of the holes, he collided with empty space.... and suddenly, a deluge began to pour out of all the holes from above, crashing the nimbat to the ground in sudden force. The water didn't seem to flow into any of the holes either.... The water was beginning to rise rapidly. Every minute raising by 10 feet.... giving you all about 10 minutes before the entire room is flooded and you all begin to drown.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Immotichey scratches his head in thought trying to figure out what this structure may be. "There is something here," he answers the bugbear's question. When the water begins to pour in from above the lizardman begins to pick up the pace. "Is everyone just going to stand around?!"
First he cast faerie fire around the area he felt the structure, hoping to reveal more. (Immo's save, 16). Then, regardless if anything has been revealed, he will try pushing and pulling on the length of the structure. If there is no movement there, he tries to turn the end where it flares out.
Your faerie fire causes part of the floor to illuminate, as well as the object you were fondling. Through it's glow, you can see the true floor as well as the true object you had been touching. It appeared to be a stalagmite jutting upwards, as well as what seemed like the floor you were standing on, the holes going deeper but the faerie fire did not touch them. Just as you see all this, the water continues to rise, and everyone in the room is floating at this point.
Mr. Biggs makes a silent 'o' with his mouth and nods in understanding. And then frowns and scratches his head in wonder of his own magic. He gets so caught up, he doesn't even notice that the room began feeling with water until a water-logged Monkey-bat clawed its way onto his shoulder and poked him in his currently still exposed face.
"Hm? Oh.. that ain't good. Thanks little buddy. Why don't you take it easy for awhile." Mr. Biggs eyes widen a second later as the monkey vanishes from his shoulder. "Whoa... okay then." He shrugs off the mystery to see illuminated stalagmite... which raised even more questions. "Alright Dale. Thinks its about your time to shine."He says as he puts away his shield, takes out out the axe in his belt, and then twists some part of the handle causing it to extend into a full on Glaive. He closes his eyes after, mutters something in that strange tongue of his again that sounded almost like 'Thunder' over and over again, then closes his eyes and make wide swing with the weapon visibly vibrating the air around it. His aim was to cleave through stone and holes alike, testing a theory before sucking in a deep breathe.
The room confuses Chubby to no end. He just stands there, alternating between scratching his head and his butt. “I don’t get it, guys. I just don’t get it. What is this place? Crispy, luv, you ever seen anything like this before?”
