'You know... that barrier is pretty solid... and it'll probably take awhile for guards to get here anyways.' Cade grimaces at the thought, then looks back to the other exit. 'A peek won't change anything... and if it shuts 'him' up...'After a few more seconds, the goblin caves in to the line of thinking, and with shield and head flail in hand, he creeps out what he hopes is just enough to spy the party's progress without giving himself away.
"Oh you've got to be--" He cuts off there, fearing for a second. Remembering the waterfall however, he uncovers his mouth and sighs before looking to the head in hand. He sets it aside, and ready an axe. Cade didn't quite know what he was going to do with it yet. But, at least he 'could' throw it if need be.

Seeing the quaggoths guarding the lift, Immotichey wonders if the guard change has begun. He pushes that thought aside for a moment and continues the assault on the guard whom his companions have begun in on.
As the firebolt leaves his hand he quickly reaches into a pouch and removes a small piece of mistletoe and a shramrock. He mutters a few words as he rubs the items on his quarterstaff causing it to glow a faint green.

The quaggoth shifted in it's charge, dodging Arthasis' attacks, before continuing. In the back of Arthasis mind, he would hear his patrons laugh like a faint whisper "I have given you power, and yet you can not even wield it properly.. perhaps I was wrong about you... perhaps I should take it back...." though some doubt would linger in the warlocks mind if this was truly his master or not.
Chubby stabbing flatly at the quaggoth, piercing it's chest mid-charge, and giving crispy the chance to sling her blades in, however, the floor was slicker where her sliding-stabs and slashes came in, causing her to slip, and roll out, still managing to get in a few weaker hits, but rolling her directly into the path of the other quaggoth's charge. The second quaggoth taking the opportunity to claw at her ferociously, both claws slamming at her gut (Multi1. 20 2, 14 - - Damage1: 5, Damage2: 7)
The first attack missing, causing the quaggoth to slip in the selfsame puddle that had caused Crispy to slip aw well, unfortunately, the quaggoths body would connect in a tumbling slam with hers, sending them both rolling several feet. The quaggoth taking damage from it's fall. (3)
Cade going unnoticed by anyone, manages to skulk around.
As the second quaggoth was starting to get up, it would catch fire, ablaze for several moments, howling in pain but still not dead, and starting to get up to assail the one who had just ignited him, leaving Crispy's range.
The first quaggoth rearing up now, bringing both of it's deadly claws towards chubby's face, rakign down. (A1: 23, A2 12 - - - D1 4, A2 8)
The pain in it's chest causing it to tense at the last moment, causing both strikes to miss., it recoiled and backed away.
Just as it did. Eldreth charged in, Wailing, much like Xena, warrior princess. Her shortsword having been abandoned for a war-hammer and shield, one she had found amongst their belongings, a very distinctive pair of Dwarven hammers crossed over a finely crafted shield, much in the manner of the humans twin sword/shield motif. Her hammer swinging wide at the first quaggoth as it retreated (A 12, D 5)
The quaggoth managing to parry the attack with it's clawed hand.
Jimjar joining in the frey, attacking from the first quaggoths flank, slicing with his dagger, but making no other sound. (A. 19, D 3)
Once more the quaggoth avoids the attack, with a deft twist.
The twins running off during the confusion, jumping over the cliff, and down into the darkness.
Darendil roaring in fury, though weaker than it had ever been seen to date, slashed at the first quaggoth. (Multi: 12, 2 10, D1 6, D2 9)
The quaggoth taking full force the first slash, and managing to roll out of the way of the second.
Just as this was happening, from the south, a war-horn echoed. Apparently the southern guard post had seen the flash of light from the immolation of the quaggoth, and was sounding the alarm.
Within moments, eight drow soldiers poured out of one of the cave walls doored-holes. Surprised seeing the fight going on in front of them. Soon after, from the stalactite not far from the lift, and the fight, another door burst open, and four drow elites poured out. All of them whipping out thier crossbows to take aim, the ends coated with the same poison that had knocked them out, and put them in the cells in the first place. One elite commanding them all to "FIRE!"
Just before the crossbows would be sent sailing, a loud crash, that rocked the cavern, loosing dust and small stones to rain from above, the buzzing that had been heard faintly was now as loud as the eruption of a volcano, as almost thirty demons, an amalgam of both Vrocks and Chasme's who were apparently fighting eachother crashed into the floor, some rolling over the drow, or nearby them, breaking their formations.
Cries rang out in the sudden chaos, fighting breaking out everywhere. The quaggoths that had been engaged with the party now looking about in confusion. Some demons were fighting each-other, others fighting the soldiers along various theaters, magic darkness exploding in various places, swords and crossbows firing.
As the group is caught unawares by this, and are figuring out the situation they were in, one demon fell in a gorey pile right in front of them. Seemingly not dead, the demon would screech out, too weak to expulse it's psionic attack against them, it rolled over, and reared up.
As the demon screeched at them, Crispy would have a flashback of that dream from the cell, blacking her out for just a moment, before she shifted back to reality. There was another who would experience the same.

Arthasis already knew the taunts of his unholy master but something felt off this time around. Before the warlock could give it any more thought though all hell broke loose. He expected things to take a turn for the worse when the alarms went off and an army of drow suddenly came to surround them. What he didn’t expect was a horde of demons crashing into the cavern and going on a murderous rampage right in front of his very eyes.
“Not good… Not good.”, he mumbled with almost desperate urgency. He had to act fast if he wanted to survive. Arthasis remembered the lake below the platforms and that the waterfall was clear of any webbing that could disrupt the fall. Just as he was making his decision another badly hurt demon came crashing down near Crispy, who seemed to have lost consciousness for just second.
Taking a deep breath the warlock sprung into action hurling a Eldritch Blast at the demon in the hopes to finish it off or at least keep it from crushing his fellow prisoners. Attack: 23 Damage: 11
“If you want to live, you have to trust me on this! RUN!”, with that Arthasis turned around and ran straight for the waterfall behind them, taking a leap of faith just as he reached the edge.

The quaggoth's hit threw her off balance, and she grunted at the impact, and they both tumbled, slipping. That's when the chaos started. The other prisoners rushing in and attacking, the two twins jumping off the cliff into the darkness. She could see out of the corner of her eye a whole bunch more Drow reinforcements coming. "Oh, shit.." She wheezed, trying to get up.
Then came that noise. Two groups of what looked like demons erupted into the area, and soon it all went berserk with fighting.
Maybe because of the impact, but for a moment that lasted an eternity, Crispy blacked out right when the buzzing started. A otherworldly darkness surrounded her, and it felt like she was submerged in water that spanned in every direction for as far as she could see. The tentacles writhing, grasping her limbs, she tried to scream again, but popped back into reality, gasping for air.
"GAA! ****!" She barked, trying to shake it. This place. Toying with her. Something evil beyond her comprehension was here. "Chubby!" she screamed, "Let's get out of here! Run!" She turned to Arthasis, saw him jump. In the chaos, she found the place he lept from, and yelled, "EVERYONE! JUMP!"
Evrik grabs his war hammer in both hands preparing to strike out at the wounded quaggoth when he heard the buzzing that he'd noticed before and then sees the room flood with demons. Disoriented by the scene, he takes a quick moment to compose himself as best he can. Seeing enemies approaching from all directions he catches a glimpse of Arthasis going over the edge and hurries toward the same spot... And jumps.

Chubby just assumed the rumbling sound was his stomach, and had ignored the hunger pangs as he was aggressively slicing and dicing the enemy. Working himself into a fervor, calculating battlefield tactics, picturing lines of attack, he’s definitely in his element.
After his attack, he notices his bestie Crispy come up to his side, as planned, and make a stupendous sneak attack. Success!
Then the rumbling starts, and Chubby spares a second to turn his head away from his attack and survey the battlefield further. What the?! Demons, here?!
Thats another variable he didn’t expect. This battle is rapidly getting out of hand. Time to take control back.
Chubby turns and quickly follows Crispy to jump over the edge of the cliff. With his substantial weight and spherical aerodynamic shape, he rapidly accelerates past Crispy on the way down.
"What in the Nines is this," Immotichey exclaims as what appears to be something demonic descending upon the drow. Taking a cue from the others, its appears that a retreat is in order. Recalling the large spiders he had seen in the forests near his village, the druid transforms into a giant wolf spider and runs off towards the edge of the ravine near the waterfall, preparing to skitter down the side of the ravine as opposed to jumping.
Crispy screams in horror (like Homer Simpson) at seeing a huge wolf spider descent somewhat with them as they all escape, while watching gravity play favorites as Chubby swiftly falls faster than she does to the bottom.
Cade almost joined the fray immediately at the sound of the horn. If he could just slip past the group and meet the drow head on, he wouldn't have to wait to fulfill both word and wish. Then came the flying nightmares. He watched at first both in shock and mute horror at the ensuing chaos. But seeing the others make a break for the falls, he snaps out it, waits for everyone (including the NPC prisoners) to make the jump before making a dash for it himself not long after.
But, if any prisoner hesitates,or get caught out up further in the chaos, he'll rush to their aid ready to either goad them on as necessary or defend them.
(S/N: I still don't know if the gnome took the pack or not DM. But if he didn't, Cade will go back and pick it up before attempting the above.)

Crispy's attack would successfully hamstring the second quaggoth, causing it to tumble over.
Within moments after transforming, Immotichey would feel a powerful alien presence in his mind, the weight of thousands of years pushing him out of his own body while it was yet trapped within, seeing what it was doing/ Millenia streamed in every direction, darkness, deciet, lies, plans within plans, all woven on the web. Cast out for betrayal, rage, hatred, vengeance were fuel. Spiders exploded across a barren, jagged land, spires reaching for the sky, spiders exploding out from them like Scarabs from a corpse, flowing, flowing into eternity. As you all fall into the water, creating massive splashes, none of you can stop hearing the droning of the demons locked in combat, drowning out all other noise.
After making just to the edge of the ravine, Immotichey just as quickly drops the form of a spider. "Grraaawar!" the lizardman screams, trying to drive out these foreign images and desires. Breathing heavily, he has to take a moment to remember what he was doing - banging a fist to his head to further clear any intrusion. Seeing the others dropping down to the pool below, he quickly jumps down.
