The actions of the Archpriest set the scene into chaos but did give Evrik some consolation in the knowledge that the Archpriest was in fact intent on taking out his daughter and her followers. Still, at the sight of all of these kuo-toa ready to kill each other, he continued to be ready for a fight. But if needed, an exit strategy back toward the Sea Mother seemed the best route. As he broke free of his costumed bonds, he whispered to the others, "What's it going to be? She's on the ground." He then casts the spell of Bless which he had readied, giving Crispy, Arti, and himself a little extra help from the great Revered Mother as things begin to unfold

On the count of Cade, Arthasis broke free of the guards behind him trying to get some distance between them and himself. The Warlock felt a surge of fevor overwhelming him the moment the fighting started. He began to enjoy this. His first priority was the archpriestess. There was a chance that the rest would surrender if she was dead and she was also probably the most dangerous enemy on the field. But before he could unleash his magic he decided to change plans seeing there were so many kuo-toa behind him. He picked one of the guards(#1) and Hexed him(bonus action / Athletics) before hurling an Eldritch Blast at his face. Attack: 23 Damage: 12
OOC: Show us some of your stunning artwork abilities, heil DM. I need to visualize the scene in order to figure out my move. i.e. can Chubby bum rush his way to meet up with the priestess?

Chubby grins sheepishly, drops the charade of being the meek slave, and pulls his hands out of the rope bindings. Unsheathing his sword, he charges towards the young priestess daughter and attacks with inspiration, spending a superiority dice to make a Goading attack.
Goading Attack (Special)
When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll and the target must make a WIS saving throw (DC 14). On failure, the target has disadvantage on all attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of your next turn.
Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Extra damage due to superiority dice: 6
Chubby will then use action surge to make a second attack:
Attack: 22 Damage: 16
Chubby will use the rest of his turn rock disengage and run back to Crispy’s side.

Immotichey rushes over to the deep gnome, throwing the rope to the side and pulling the shield from his back as he does so. "Grab the dagger off my belt and free yourself," he says to the prisoner. Being inspired by Cade's call to action, the druid launches a flame at the priestess.
As the chaos breaks out, Crispy frees herself, draws her blades, and runs with Chubby to attack the priestess as well:
Main: Attack: 12 Damage: 7 Sneak: 4
Oh **** yes, that's a great start. Most likely missing, I use my Cunning Action to disengage and follow Chubby - we stick together - and plan to get the Hells out of here.
"****! WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!" I scream to all the others.
The archpreistess doesn't even flinch from Chubby's attack, despite it being very effective otherwise. Shes assailed by several more attacks, she managed to growl, and throw them off, despite bleeding quite a bit. RRUUAGGHH!!! she roars as she rolls away, and uses the rest of her movement to stand, so she would no longer be prone. Her arms raise mystically, as she casts Control Water Causing the water nearby to rise up in a flood. The water rose so high that you and everyone else felt as though you were in a very very deep pool. The water rose above the houses, other than their roofs, leaving only the tallest towered ones above the water itself. The grate began acting like a natural drain, as the water slowly but surely started to form into a whirlpool.
(Each turn you must either make a STR14 DC check, or expend ALL movement not to start getting drawn towards the eye, which led to the hole where the sacrifices had been dumped.)
The other kou toa only feel this as difficult terrain.
The Duergar had only just grabbed the dagger when this happened, to which he began furiously swimming away from the current, attempting to help kill the preistess.
(I have to get in proper melee, so let me get this strength check out of the way.)
Strength Saving Throw:22. (22 in case of error)
The goblin turned back into a Human sucks in a breathe if possible before the water consumes him and the others. Cade glances back at the budding vortex, and seeing it forming, he quickly swam hard against the building current towards the priestess with eyes glowing in the new dimness. The current slowed him, but doesn't relent(dash) until he got within range of severing at least one of her hands with his hand axes.

Arthasis couldn't believe his eyes as he watched the whole place flooding with water. He wasn't the best swimmer and the tides of water pulling at him did not help. Strength check: 7 As soon as he found some balance the Warlock focused on the kuo-toa which he had attacked previously in an attempt to finish him off. He casted Eldritch Blast while shouting, "Die creature!" Attack: 22 Damage: 12
"Ah, SHIT! What the HELLS!" Crispy barked as the water rose fast. While holding her blades, she attempted to keep her balance in the rush of rising water..
STR DC 14 check: 18
"Oh shit, oh shit!" She managed to maintain balance.
(STR DC 14 Check: 24 -- Roll is NOT correct, I originally rolled a 10 and forgot to add my 1d4 for bless, which was a 2, so my total is 12, failing the check.)
"Not a fan of this wet stuff! It's great in a glass, not so good trying to consume me!" Evrik yells. As the water rushes around him, he uses every ounce of strength to hold himself steady and to keep from being swept off toward the drain. But reaching deep within and calling upon the graces of Haela Brightaxe, Evrik feels inspired and manages to speak a few words of thanks to the gods as he gets one hand up above the water, quickly rolls his fingers as if he is spinning a small ball and a Guiding Bolt erupts in a fantastic lighting show and is launched towards the priestess. (Attack: 11 Damage: 16)
Again with the dice changes... My roll for attack was 20. My roll for damage was 12. Not sure how it became 24 or 16 but if you hover it shows the 12. ODD.
"Evrik!" Crispy screams as he falls into the water, forgetting about the Priestess and the instinct to help save a teammate kicking in once more. Maybe this time, it wouldn't involve falling miles in the darkness and being seperated for days on end.
She helped anyways.

Arthasis / Crispy - Evrik did a spell of bless for you two so you can add a 1d4 to your attack or save rolls. May have helped you above.

I use my Cunning Action to disengage and follow Chubby - we stick together - but we intend to slay the priestess as agreed.
