OOC: Immotichey will also buy a healing potion, 50g. Total of 55g spent so he has 45 left of the 100g the priest gave him.
When the group gets back from their various shopping adventures, Immotichey offers his take on the situation. "I don't much like being used as bait either...but if we can make an ally down here it could be useful."
OOC: I was working on a small screen flipping tab to tab, I messed up on price of rowboat. I'll do 25 / halfsies. I thought it was 25 total when I wrote my post.
Evrik says to Cade, "Apologies, my brain weren't working, I'll spend 25GP to share a boat with you. However, we will need more than one as they are quite small. I would also be willing to try to find a boat maker that we could perhaps try to work out some bargain to get a larger boat such as a Keelboat or Sailboat of some sort that would take all of us. Indeed, I could resale my chainshirt to recoup the 50 spent if needed. (The beer though, has already been enjoyed!)"
Evrik continued to walk around town. He had a spare set of leather armor that he hoped to sell for some price. (DM?)

Arthasis arrived first at the archpriest’s hut. Waiting for the rest of the group, he quickly grew impatient and decided to get a bit adventurous. Using invocations bestowed to him by his patron, the warlock casted Disguise Self and in an unobserved moment he took on the form of a random Kuo-Toa. Remembering the riches the archpriest presented to them, Arthasis could not resist to try and get something for himself. He used to power of his newly acquired eye to X-ray the building and looked for people and movement inside trying to discern if it would be save to go in.
Much of the same happens until the day drags on, many kou-toa start heading to bed. Evrik manages to find one who is willing to buy the leather armor for 10 GP, if he sells it. And if he does sell it, the kou-toa mistakes it for some form of beef jerky, and begins to eat it. and another 50 for the chain shirt if he does sell it (I need confirmation on this)
The docks area near the Sea Mothers side seems to still be open, though for how long is questionable. (If you intend to try to bargain for a boat which I will allow) rowboat DC is 10.
Keelboat DC is 20. if you get a nat 20.. He may give you a massive discount, as long as you roleplay it right.
----
Arthasis Can see that there are many many kou-toa outside the thin walls, but all are heading to various locations, and seem tired. The ones inside the building are either already asleep, including the archpreist who is still passed out in his chair, right next to his treasure trove.
Stealth Check DC 7. If failed, the archpreist will wake up, and question what you're doing, and you will need to do a Performance Check, DC 12, and a deception check, DC 15 to play it off as though you are kou-toa, and your reason for being near his treasure.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arthasis seized his chance and made his way inside the hut, trying to get close to the archpriest’s treasure. Stealth with Guidance :18
His heart was pounding but his feet were steady. The warlock managed to move silently and soon stood right in front of the valuable goods. He would remove 27 pp, 1000 gp, a Potion of Healing and the Potion of Water Breathingfrom the piled treasure in an attempt to make it look like nothing was missing. Arthasis stowed the items in his backpack, then turned away and moved outside the hut. As soon as he left the building he would use an unobserved moment to dispel his disguise and get some distance between himself and the hut, watching the perimeter and waiting for the others to come back.
Is it too late to chat with someone? Chubby wishes to ask any of the local residents for directions as to how to get out of the underworld, and back to the surface world. Hopefully multiple directions, to keep our options open.
Cade eyes widen, and for a second he looks at Evrik's ears closely as if expecting something to come leaking out. After awhile, he lets out a relieved sigh, and carries on almost as if nothing happened. Almost. "Oh believe me, Evrik. I know from that from personal experience." He admits, shuddering at some recent memory. "I'll... leave you to do the haggling, if that's alright. The last guy wanted a story in exchange for a ride, and well... I rather not risk dropping the ball again 'cause I misread things. Again." He admits as much. "But if'n ya want me to like, I dunno, help in some way? I can probably do at least that much for ya. Maybe do a few charades or somethin'?"

Crispy listened to the tuna faced man. He described places to go. Some were far. Some had..portals? Finally, some good news. The conversation at the end twisted a turn she didnt expect, and when the fishman threatened to slit their wrists, she looked at Chubby with a look of impatience and violence. She unlocked the safeties from her blade belt and began drawing her stabbers- Oh yes, wrists were gonna be slit, but not hers.
The old dwarf had to force drag her away, she was sick of this place and wanted to murder someone. They were both gone when the fishman returned outside.
Evrik sells his jerky flavored armor to the fishy fish for 10GP and decides to keep the chain shirt. Though not so excited about going across the water, Evrik would be cautiously willing. He looks at Cade, "Have you seen the others? Perhaps we should determine if everyone wants to go via land or water to... well wherever we may be going before spending funds on a boat."
OOC: Evrik is not fond of water, but willing. If everyone thinks a water path is best, maybe we get someone with high charisma to bargain for a bigger boat?
Aside from boat, with all of my sell/purchase, Evrik is spent a total of 42GP (Shirt, less armor, plus caltrops) and 8cp (BEER!) which leaves him with about 67GP total (had 10 plus the fishy 100)

You all eventually make your way back to the hut, as it's the only place you're SURE you're safe here, as you've already, more or less struck a bargain with the archpreist. The night wanes on, and eventually the endless music stops, and silence descends on the town. All the lights are snuffed out, blanketing the world in soft darkness, and silence. There are no crickets in the underdark, so aside from the soft breathing from yourself or others, there is no other noise.
Everyone roll perception. Those who exceed a 15, will faintly hear what could be taken as a rumbling roar, growl, or scream that seems to be coming from beneath the earth.
The morning comes, and slowly, but surely the music comes back, and along with it the rest of the noises common to this place. Each of you is kicked awake, everyone taking 1 damage from it, as you hear an angered voice screaming at you [Undercommon]Get out outsiders! We don't need you! and just as he was about to kick someone again, the archpreist tackled him and an argument ensued.
[Undercommon]You will not harm our pact Glooglugogg! They have already agree'd and we are bound by it's terms! Would you dare defy the Sea Mothers will, or your own father! You will cease this at once! They are to be the bait!
