"It seems one of us is enjoying herself well enough", Arthasis said to Cora with a sly grin on his face. The spell casted by the archpriest was quiet impressive. Almost immediately the Warlock felt that the injuries around his eyes began to heal leaving a ghastly scar above his left eyebrow. What was even more striking was the surge of power caused by the magic. "Well, with the money we have we should stock up our provisions and get every one ready to fight.", the cannon fodder had to surive a little bit after all, Arthasis thought to himself.
When the group eventually leaves the town hall (?), Chubby whispers to them “I don’t trust that fellow...he may seem nice on the outside, offering us that tasty meal and such, but he’s got some ulterior strategery up his cloak. I say we play along with his little charade, but plan to escape as soon as we can. Let’s buy some supplies, and cache them somewhere close to the edge of town where we can grab them in haste....I’ve got a bad feeling that this little charade ain’t gonna go off so smoothly.”
Ah yes.. you were not here when I had already said it. I am Ploopploopeen, Archpreist of the Sea Mother. As a show of good faith, and my last boon for this day, I will give you each 100 gold from my coffers to spend as you will. Our crafts may not be exquisite but they are unique. With that, he would waddle up out of his chair, head over to one of the chests not far from his throne, that was surrounded by many expensive looking things, and thousands of gold, pulling out what would equal his promise, and hand each character 100 GP. With that done, he would take his seat back. Snapping his fingers for one of the preists that had not been raptured to come in and show you around the sea mothers side of the city.
The archpreist fell asleep where he was, made obvious by the snoring.. perhaps that spell had taxed him greatly. However, his eyes never shut.
Eldreth kissed chubby one last time, before hopping off, saying I think I'm gonna stay 'ere an take a nap. After everything 'ats appened.. I'm a bit tired, even after that amazing spell. But feel free tae go shoppin without me. I feel I got enoof fer meself to make it, so take my share of gold my sexy wee chubby!

There are many stores though they all sell limited wares each, individually. You can find most any item in the players handbook between all these various stores (and no the book doesn't tell me anything special about any of the stores, and I think I know why)
You can by any non-magical item from the players handbook throughout town, including silvering your weapons if you so desire. So browse through the items, subtract whatever you buy from your gold amount.. the kou-toas religious fervor prevents them from being willing to barter for lower prices, however their prices are also normal and they won't raise them on you.
Take into consideration your needs, the party's needs etc. You can buy watercraft here, and the type of craft you buy determines how things will go on the water should you choose to go that route instead of walking along the edge of the lake. Water travel is twice as fast, but has many more risks.

The only boats that will fit down in the underdark are the Keelboat, and the Rowboat.
"A pleasure then, Ploopploopeen, Archpriest of the Sea Mother... who is also asleep now. I guess we just go then?"Cade follows after the others without much further complaint. "It is concern'n to say the least. But, I guess a promise was made to help already, and somethin' tells me after that last spell, this guy can prolly work his people up into a frenzy if we don't at least play along."Cade after that will keep an ear an eye out as they go, eventually cobbling together at least a standard affair of supplies for himself from the gold the Archpriest gave. The rest he pass along to the others to help pay for at least one of the row boats they were going to need.
The remainder of his gold: 25gp he'll put towards going at least halfsies on a row boat.. though the group will need at least two.
At some point along the way, he'll also recommend to Chubby to probably get a weapon silvered. After all the strangeness the group had face thus far, he was less willing to believe the more outlandish things -- like werewolf or shark -- popping up at some point.
Immotichey finds a shop that would sell him an herbalism kit. While there he will inquire from the shopkeeper about possible uses of the blue moss and orange lichen he found while the group was near the orog's camp.
Wanted to apologize to everyone abotu my lackluster DMing the last week or so.. between feeling like shit, mental/physical exhaustion i just couldn't. I'll try to improve.
As you all go your various ways, for your various reasons, you continue to hear that same music, among other tunes, and notes. It seems that every street has atleast a few kou-toa either singing, or strumming/banging some instrument.. though not in an unpleasant way. If it weren't for the fact that you knew the kou-toa are inherently insane in the end, this place would almost be somewhere you'd want to go to for a vacation, or something similar.
Almost all kou-toa are hawking various wares, found in (Adventuring Gear) though nothing stood out as more than average, though that did not mean there wasn't. You would all notice they only seemed to be advertising to you or your fellows, and never to one another.
Many kou-toa offered their services as a guide across the darklake, for a fee, or were offering you boats for sale. Some were offering food, all of which smelled foreign, but had the allure of the unknown. Some were selling Spices and other such things for relatively cheap. One even offering a large supply of spices and toppings for only 15GP! guaranteed to last atleast a few months.
All of these shops were outside what you would all assume were the homes of the shop owners. Most buildings were made of roughshod wood, that looked much sturdier than it should, all of them fashioned with fish motifs, or shapes that you could only assume were depictions of the Sea Mother. Occasionally a fight would break out, as it appeared that one or more Deep Father heretics had came to the wrong side of town, and was quickly, and violently dealt with, and then eaten right there on the street.
---
Immo's breasts would be ogled by everyone he passed, a mix of confusion and interest crossing thier features, though none pestered him for details, except one that offered him 200 gold for an 'experience'. Immo would eventually get his answers after making his purchase, though the shopkeeper spoke broken-common
The 'orange lichen' was known as
Fire Lichen
Pale orange-white in color, fire lichen thrives on warmth, so it grows in regions of geothermal heat. Fire lichen can be ground and fermented into a hot, spicy paste, which is spread on sporebread or added to soups or stews to flavor them. Duergar also ferment fire lichen into a fiercely hot liquor.
while the blue moss was
Ormu
A bioluminescent blue-green moss that grows in warm and damp areas, ormu is particularly common near steam tunnels and vents. It sheds dim light in a 5-foot radius, and can be harvested, dried, and made into a phosphorescent powder or pigment, and can be used, with enough skill and an alchemists kit, into a sort of 'flashbang grenade.'
After the feast, Arthasis walked the streets of the Kuo-Toa city searching the shops for something useful. He decided that Thieves' Tools could prove to be just that. He also bought himself a whip, it would provide him with a little more breathing space in close quarter combat if ever the need arises. The warlock then made his way back to the archpriest’s hut waiting for the rest to return so they could begin with the assault.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Evrik takes some time to commune with Berronar Truesilver and learns new incantations during his players. (HP Roll: 7)
He walks over to Chubby and the others, "I'm going to town in search of a fine ale. Would anyone cats to join me?" While there he will also look to purchase a chain shirt and two bags of caltrops. "I'm also willing to split purchase of a row boat, but that's an awful small vessel."
(Purchases: 2 gp for 2 bags of caltrops, 50gp chain shirt, 8cp for 2 mugs of ale. 13gp for boat if we decide on those. 65gp and 8cp total)

Cade politely as he can avoided being drawn in by random purchases. Although now they weren't a sudden army amassing on him and the party, he found himself marveling at the sights from time to time. Seeing one outbreak of a fight however puts a quick end to his marveling at the architect, and focus instead more on anticipating and guiding the group away from any future potential fights between the rival groups.
"That's the underdark for ya. Anything grander is liable to not get much use down here. Even with places like these being so big."Cade says, having joined Evrik at the mention of purchasing a boat following his own purchase. Together, they had at least 38gp. 12gp short of even one though...

Chubby to Cade: “I like your idea, sir, of silvering my blade. That’ll come in handy, no doubt, when I need to lop off the heads of any future she-devils trying to take advantage of my girl Crispy!”
It takes atleast 3 hours for the kou-toa to silver your weapon. Your weapon is now considered 'magical' and can hit enemies that are normally immune to mundane weapons. and some creatures are even 'weak' to it.
Chubby spent the entire three hours during the silvering process, pacing back and forth outside the blacksmith's hut. He was visibly nervous, hoping beyond hope that his precious blade wouldn't get damaged. Once the smith was complete, he walked out from the hut and handed Chubby back his sword. Chubby acted like he was a proud father of a newborn, grinning from ear to ear at the handiwork. He couldn't WAIT to bring it back and show it to Crispy and Eldrith!
The bladed portion of chubby's weapon was now coated in a fine layering of sharp sharp silver, giving it an intense contrast compared to it's former appearance.
Crispy's blades would also take three hours.
528 GP remain, and the party will need to get sleep soon. as it's almost 'midnight'
