As you approach, you hear the man is not speaking, but laughing. Something is very wrong with this man. Olgha and Vannithos both notice it with enough time to piece it together and draw their weapons, but not enough to warn Vadania and Vorin: a red amulet dangling from his neck. He turns his head to face you, laughing maniacally. Two thralls step out of the shadows in the back of the room, and the madman gets up from his chair, laughing louder than ever. You hear a distinct voice in the back of your head: "Fools."
Roll for initiative. Vadania and Vorin will be surprised for the first round, while Olgha and Vannithos will not.
As chaos erupts and the madman’s laughter rings out, Olgha’s instincts and training kick in. With a subtle gesture at her side, she conjures a spectral, invisible hand just beneath the table, eyes fixed on the red amulet swinging from the man’s neck. While most eyes are drawn to the thralls, Olgha focuses on precision over brute force. The ghostly hand slips forward, nearly unseen, gliding across the floor. With deft control, she angles for the amulet’s chain, seeking to unfasten the clasp or slip it off entirely...her nimble fingers moving as if she were picking a pocket in a crowded bazaar
Bonus Action: Mage Hand for a little bit of Sleight of Hand (lol, Nat1) on the amulet (maybe that thing affects the mind of the man.)
Without waiting to see if she’s been noticed, Olgha follows up with a sharp, calculated shot from her crossbow, aiming at the shorty thrall.

To Hit: 23 ---> Damage: 6
Your mage hand is easily batted away by the cultist before it can get near the amulet. Meanwhile, your crossbow bolt nails the thrall in the knee, delivering a painful blow to the creature.
The cultist is insulted by your attempt to steal his amulet, and sends three bursts of flame from his hand (Scorching Ray) at Vorin, Vannithos, and Olgha.
Vorin's ray: Attack: 14 Damage: 10
Vannithos' ray: Attack: 15 Damage: 3
Olgha's ray: Attack: 4 Damage: 7
It is now Vannithos' turn. The cultist is 15 ft away, both thralls are 25 ft away.
Vannithos dodges the flames aimed at him and disappears momentarily before reappearing behind the cultist, looking oddly misty and ethereal. He attempts to snatch the necklace off as well.
Bonus Action: Blessing of the Raven Queen to teleport, plus he gets resistance to all damage until his next turn.
You catch the cultist off guard and manage to take the amulet off from around his neck. The magic power he had before disappears, but his loyalty to Balor does not as he draws a dagger from his cloak.
The short thrall charges Vannithos in protection of the cultist, and is put in a state of confusion as his claws have no affect on Vannithos. The ugly thrall notices the ineffectiveness of the other's attack on Vannithos, and instead turns his attention towards Vadania, attempting to pierce her thick skin. Attack: 8 Damage: 10
Hearing that whatever is happening in the back is more than your typical bar fight, most guests take it as their cue to flee. Engelheart notices the rush of people coming out the door, and can choose whether or not he will investigate.
Engelheart watches the crowd start to move quickly out of the establishment "Seems like talking is going well, but alas, here we sit. Just incase kiddo, if we have to go in, you stay with Flicker, ya hear?" Engelheart will try to look past the crowd into the room but currently not trying to enter.
Garil nods at your words, feeling somewhat ashamed of being a burden. As you look through the crowd, you see the bartender, who seems quite unbothered given the circumstances, march towards the door and open it to see what's going on. He quickly runs to hide behind the bar, and you are able to see Vannithos behind the cultist, and a vampire thrall behind him, but it's unclear what is going on.
It is now Vadania's turn. The ugly thrall is 5 ft away, the cultist 15 ft, and the short thrall 25 ft.
Vadania's wolf senses kick in and she moves back. The ugly thrall's claw gets caught up in Vadania's thick coat. The creature looks up to see bestial eyes glaring down. Vadania growls and grows to a full 7ft and bulks up by drawing power from her curse.
BA: Rage (Claws)
She attempts to rip the thrall apart with her claws.
Claw: 12 to hit | Dmg: 7 Slash Claw: 6 to hit | Dmg: 9 Slash
Olgha sees her chance. With Vannithos harrying the cultist at close quarters, the man’s focus is split...just enough for her to act. Sliding along the edge of overturned furniture, she draws a bead on the cultist’s exposed side, steadying her breath. In one smooth motion, she looses a bolt, aiming not just to wound, but to drop the man before he can strike again.
To Hit: Nat20+4 ---> Damage: 7 ---> Sneak Attack: 6 [OOC: Steady Aim as BA if Vannithos is not near the cultist anymore]
Olgha’s lips curl into a sly grin as her crossbow sings. “Oh, you’re going to feel that in your next life,” she mutters under her breath, watching the bolt fly true with a wicked glint in her eye.
Olgha's bolt streaks through the air with unparalleled accuracy, nailing the man in the jaw. Also, sneak attack damage dice also get doubled on a crit, so you'd be doing an additional7damage.
It is now Vorin's turn. Ugly 20 ft, Short 30 ft, Cultist 20 ft if he survives.

Roll for initiative. Vadania and Vorin will be surprised for the first round, while Olgha and Vannithos will not.
Vannithos initiative: 12
Engelheart init: 23 (nat 20) if needed
Vadania initiative (for the round after Surprise): 21
Vorin Initiative: 18
Initiative - 20
[OOC: Are Olgha and Vannithos within 5ft of each other and the enemy (for sneak attack purposes)]
Order of combat:
1. Engelheart (Once he becomes aware of the trouble)
2. Vadania
3. Olgha
4. Vorin
5. Cultist (Initiative: 18)
6. Vannithos
7. Short vampire thrall (Inititative: 2, Left corner of room)
8. Ugly vampire thrall (Initiative: 1, Right corner of room)
Olgha and Vannithos are within five feet of the each other, but not the enemy. I can make a quick map with Dungeon Scrawl if anyone would like.
Olgha will start combat.
As long as I have distance info (like how far away each enemy is from me) I am okay with or without maps.
