Rajiira, remembering the thing about sunlight would say, "Unless one of us can somehow create false sunlight, all of us should retreat. I do not believe we have a chance against this thing unless one of us can somehow create sunlight as the Mist blocks out the light outside! and we are too cramped here, there is no room to move!" She would then switch back to her Scimitar and Shield as she waited to see what the rest would do. If they intended to stay and fight, she would too, otherwise she would leave with the rest of them. "And this one thinks something seems off. We have not found a child, nor any trace of one, we found blood, locked doors, and a ghost... This one is starting to believe that perhaps maybe those children aren't what they seem, as by now a baby would have been making some kind of noise to reveal its location. If nothing else this one thinks we should regroup outside and decide what to do from there, and should it pursue us, atleast we will have the space to move!."
She growled, low, and ferally, almost matching what one would expect to hear from a non humanoid feline, her hackles raised, and teeth bared. "We can come back, if we must. Either what we seek is in that locked room, or it never existed. That is what this one thinks."
Thrash, still swinging wildly will yell back... voice full of rage. I am glad you agree! There iss no baby here! No one to ssave! RAAGGGGHHH Thrash takes another swing This whole place iss a Trap! GGRRA! A trap I intend to destroy!
** Thrash is too enraged to actually run away. At this point he believes this is all a trap but determined to smash and bite his way out of it, Plus he would want to collect more trophies **
That primarily depends on the rest of the group, honestly. My character feels it better to retreat and plan, as this thing seems to be almost impervious, and apparently the only thing known about the creature even with perfect rolls is that its not fond of sunlight. So, if everyone else stays and fights, I will too, but in character she feels it's a bad idea, since her specialty is undead, she would know necrotic damage that sloughs off flesh can't be healed by normal means :x at this point though, i can't post anymore till I know what everyone else is doing. And with that in mind, my character will Ready her Dodge until she is sure we're staying or going.
Thrash is planning on staying, Since he is enraged and not thinking very clearly... the only reason he thinks this is a trap now is because he was already thinking that it might be the case before the specter showed up. He did see the Specter take some damage when hit by Tisnip's holy fire so that would lead him to believe it could be damaged.
** Not all of it lol! just two hand prints over his eyes.... kind of like a KISS band member :D and I mean... magical healing fixes other wounds and burns so ya know... it will be fine
**So I'll play out the Initiative order a bit to let you guys make a decision mid-round.**
OTC yells at the specter" Just die already!' And swings her staff at it. She's slightly surprised when the staff connects hard with the apparition knocking it back towards Tisnip.
The specter turns to Tisnip and makes a grab at her, but the Dwarf dodges its grasp.
Tyriok launches an icy Chromatic Orb at the specter, it hits but doesn't seem to effect it as much as he hoped.
Thrash takes a wild swing, still too enraged to aim properly.
Tisnip is up next when Rajiira brings up her misgivings about this whole house and situation.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I Am removing this out of order post
OOC: this is assuming Thrash gets another chance to attack the specter
Thrash, even more enraged by his inability to hit the specter will throw his flail at the sceleton in the trunk (drop weapon) and then lunge at the specter with his mouth open wide in the hopes of ripping it apart with his teeth.
Tisnip heeds Rajiira's words but she also sees how Thrash is deep in his rage. She glances around the room, judging their odds based on how the rest of them are looking. She's worried but she also doesn't want to leave this cursed thing around to cause trouble for someone else. "Wait! Don't retreat, let me try one more thing." She slaps her hands together in a prayer to Ilmater and casts Bless on Rajiira, Thrash, and Only-The-Cold. "Let's not give up just yet! Maybe a little more divine favor on our side will help us defeat this terrible spectre."
(Add those d4s to your attacks and let's hope this helps!)
**Rajiira you're next, lets say all the discussion happened mid-combat. I'll still give you the option to Run, or take an action, or whatever you want to do.

Rajiira would growl again, not liking everything that was going on, but seeing as everyone else was intending to stay, would resign herself. Bette to die with others than alone....
However, not wishing to get close redraws her bow and stows her weapon. Taking aim, closing her left eye fully, her shot feeling more blessed than usual, would fire at the spectre where it was most exposed, and she was least likely to hit someone between.
Attack: 17 Damage: 3
Regardless of whether she hit or missed, she would make one more attempt to get the barbarian away from the specter before it drained him of all of his life. Shouting "If you ever wish to know what is below this one's Chain-Shirt, then get back, else it will remain elusive to you forever in death!"
(We're in the third round of combat now, yes? Also, are Thrash, OTC, and myself the only ones right up on this spectre? Is there any way to give myself and one of them advantage by flanking it?)
**Well things got a bit out of order there. But you guys did enough damage to kill this ghost. So you're out of combat now. Final Fantasy victory music plays
The specter dissipates with a scream and you're all left reeling in the dusty hall, wondering what to do next
**I snooped through your inventories and I think Allustine has a crowbar... Just saying

yeah, I think so. From now on, just assume that she is recasting it whenever it runs out, just to be ready.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Thrash will spin around and attempt to land another heavy flail strike, fueled by rage. Attack: 8 Damage: 10
Tyriok is going to cast Chromatic Orb at the Specter.
Attack: 19 Damage: 12 cold damage.
