Week long days, week long nights, sleeping in shifts, learning exploring managing resources. Itâs been 90 days since land fall land crash whatever. It was exciting to see such an exotic planet, I mean really never before has a blue sun sustained a habitable planet, an all blue planet⊠itâs actually torture after awhile. Then one week long day here and the airborne plant pollen starts causing respiratory issues. Luckily we gathered into the Saradie and discovered âlightâ a basic cantrip- not the natural blue light but full spectrum light reversed even aided recovery from the pollen.
For some reason we need to make repairs to the helm as well as the ship, and since the Lady herself Captain Saradie was one of our casualties upon arriving, tension is very high. Daily life now isnât so bad but we have only started our nocturnal explorations. Till now only forays have been close proximity daytime trips, there are however certain areas of interest beyond which could prove very important.
Tori will be scrounging for scrap supplies in the hold that could be useful for making the trek into the wilderness. I'm particular any scrap cloth (masks for the pollen and rope), walking sticks (quarterstaves), and anything they could use to make a tent.
When finished she'll check on her dad who's been recovering from the 'Blue wheeze' as he calls it. She has to hunch in the tight spaces, her full height over 7ft tall. She is a picture of perfect health and has managed to avoid getting sick of the planet thus far, but still wears a mask when outside or in the deck with the sick

Tori finds some cloth and quickly manages to produce four very impressively crafted masks. Material enough for even a single tent however is more challenging, there is an abundance of natural âwoodâ stalk material where you are headed. Actual wood is one of the resources you will be looking forâŠ
Toriâs dad is in good spirits today many have been encouraging him with admiration for Toriâs mission, âShe an them other students are whatâs gonna get us off this blueberry planet fer sure!â
After the initial crash Krakel was very busy. He did his best to aid and heal the wounded, driving himself nearly to exhaustion. Many were unable to be saved even with the aid of his divinely granted powers. Those he prayed over and performed a funeral ceremony, giving them the best burials possible given the conditions of the planet.
The longer spent on the planet the more people were getting sick from the pollen. While the light magic does help, he knows they will not be able to survive by hunkering down in the ship and just passing time. They needed supplies and so Krakel volunteered to join the expedition, knowing they would need as much help as possible in a place like this.
Krakel enters the Lower deck where the sick are inorder to make his âroundsâ and to reactivate the âlight orbâ(an old cannon ball) he had positioned amidst the sick to shine on as many as possible. He greets Tori âHail and well met sister Goliath, how does your father fair todayâ.
After the crash, Lyre helped with her druidic healing magic, till she ran out of magic. After that she had to depend on her untrained medicine skill. Her natural aptitude helped, but after the initial panic, she left the treatment of the wounded to those who were trained in such matters.
Instead, she was on the first on the exploration expedition to examine the world around them, and was one of the first to sick from the pollen. Fortunately, it was a mild case (she had cleaned off most of the pollen with prestidigitation) and recovered quickly. Later, after it was discovered that the light cantrip was effective against the pollen, she realized her quick was due to her parent's liberal use of light spells to light up their room. She retrained to learn the light spell, and used started using it continuously.
After recovering from the effects of the pollen, Lyre joined every expedition she could to learn about their surroundings or to gather supplies. And she studied the notes of those expeditions she didn't go on. {Trying to update her nature skill for this world}
And of course she volunteered for the latest expedition, to find a source of wood...
{Silly question, is there a bag of holding aboard? That would make retrieving wood from a distance MUCH easier! On the other hand, as something VERY valuable in our current circumstances, I wouldn't expect it to be sent with us when we are striking out into unknown territory. Rather it would be used on a follow up expedition after the presence of wood has been confirmed, and the danger of the route evaluated.}

â Yes there is an abracadabrus
and a portable hole they are not available for exploratory expeditions however.
You four need only bring back a sample and report.
