Magoo starts the explanation and motions for others to add in details. Well, it is like this. We came across some odd creatures who might help us if we kill off a mind flayer for them. Seeing the startled reactions of the diplomats, he continues, Yeah, that was our thought, as well. So, we are here to see if you have any great advice or weapons or defenses that might help us on this quest. He moves closer to the table to see what loot, er, trading items are on display. What do you all have here? he asks the groups.

āI believe the odd creatures we encountered were working for or with the myconids. They all had fungal growths on them and seemed to be communicating telepathically. They said if we killed the mind Flayer that has been bothering them that we could meet them in face to face to discuss diplomacy.ā Krakel adds.
"Yeah, I kinda messed up and got squeemish about the fungus. It was stupid, I have mushroom shoes on for gods' sake, but I got the ick and couldn't communicate with them. Thank you all so much for stepping up y'all"
āIāve never seen technology like this. These must have been an advanced race indeed. Do you know what these do, will they be able to help against the mind Flayers?ā Krakel asks the diplomats.
"Hi, sorry to but in, but there is a mindflayer menace moving to control the Myconids to the east, if it gets a foothold there will be no chance to stop it taking over the area and ruining your little business here. For your sake and ours, please be reasonable."
