"These are all very handy, the outfit can change appearance to look like a few different outfits, not sure what yet. The candelabra is a light that won't go out. Bright one too. And the broach protects from damage like that spell the wizards do in where there's the little beads of pure magic. I don't know what to call it, force I guess. So yeah, it protects from that spell completely and other things like it partially."

"Anyone want any of those?" Tori asks while gathering up the rest of the loot into her backpack and pouches

“I suppose these items make a lot more sense knowing they are magical, thank you for identifying them Tori.” Krakel says. 

“Looks like it’s a good thing you were shooting with your bow Lyra. Doesn’t seem like the blaster pistol would have even worked against that beast if it was wearing this brooch.”

Magoo is glad Tori is carrying the loot since he knows that he cannot help. None of the items appear to be useful for the small, quick, hit'em hard and get out fast helper he hopes to be, so he is happy for others to take their pick.

 “I dont know what knowledge may be gained, it was just a thought.”  He replies to Tori. 

Krakel gets up from his ritual and turns to the group “check this out guys, I figured out a new way to help us explore!” He says with excitement and then runs towards the pool of water but rather then falling in he walks right across the surface and stands above the middle. You guys can do this too. That ritual I just did lets us all walk on any liquid surface for a whole hour!  This might help keep us from falling in any more rivers unexpectedly.”

"That will be nice, that was so cold" *Tori says, shivering at the memory as she walks out to join Krakel, she places her arm over his shoulders in a side hug*

“The brooch would be a benefit to anyone of us, but I don’t desire to decide who wears it.”Krakel shares.

“The outfit is an interesting find but I have no need for fancy clothes, so if any of you desire it, please don’t hesitate. If any of you would care to also carry a light against our enemies then please take the candelabra, however if not then I may have an idea for it when we get back to the community. Or we may still be able to find favorable trade from the mephit when we get back.”

"Depending on the outfits I might be interested. Quick changes can be tricky and having some pre-loaded costumes would be outstanding" Tori remarks about the clothing

There is still an area with occasional sounds up and left presumably from where the flayer came from initially…  the pools look very inviting also and (you may choose the nature of the other four outfits)

Lyra goes up to the waters edge, and takes a cautious step onto it to see if it will actually support her. She also looks for any signs that the water is contaminated or otherwise unsafe to drink.

"We should check out those sounds from further it before heading back."

"Agreed, I think we keep the lantern out for now. I believe I'll take the outfit, I think either Magoo or Krakel should take the amulet, Magoo because he's often in the mix up front, Krakel because his magic most easily keeps us hale and hearty" Tori smiles in Krakels direction before heading to investigate the sounds

Perception: 21

“ I think the brooch  would look quite fine on you Magoo. Please use its magic to help defend our group!” Krakel says tossing it to Magoo. 

He then turns to follow Lyra and Tori to investigate the rest of the cavern. 

Magoo pins the brooch onto his robe. Its gold color contrasts nicely with his grey robe and he feels its power envelop him like a warm blanket. Thank you, he says before running on to the water. This is so cool! And off he goes into the caverns (stealth 24)

Tori heads around the bend and sees a sight that leaves her speechless…

Magoo without a sound whispers past into the area…

Krakel and Lyra are following behind unaware of the stunning scene they are about to witness…

There are two pits, in one is a writhing mass of rats, in the other is a mass of cranium rats- but they are fused into one large brainy mass.  There are two almost zombie like elven humanoids they are massaging the ‘brain’!  This chamber is very warm and wet, steam is entering through a metal vent in the floor.  In the far corner is what looks like a throne.

The whole room is about 60’ across 30’ high and at least 20 feet wide.  The 2 masseuse look up at Tori and like automatons start moving towards the rat pit.
