The gnome leans against the wall picking at his dirty fingers with the dagger given to him. He watches to see what the two Shepherds could discover. "Bah...," he snorts at their ineptitude. "The problem with you tall folk is you don't take time to get down low." He marches in and begins to look around.
Okay. I feel karma is against me after running my mouth... Lol
"Is it possible for you to get a better feel for this sorcerer's location?"

The door to this room swings open easily on well-oiled hinges. Beyond it, you see that the chamber walls have been disguised by wood paneling and built-in bookshelves. The stone ceiling and floor are hidden by tapestries with Sune's image. Several large and well-stuffed chairs are arranged about the room too alongside several small reading tables. Along with books, there are trinkets that dot the shelves. It's a richly decorated room with plenty to look at but no one is immediately in view from the vantage of the door.

"A pity we don't have the time... " she says " I would love to spent some time with those books. Preferably reading them in certain glade I know of..."
In face of yet another empty room, Lyra stops for a second, closing her eyes to focus. A moment later, she lets out a disappoving snuffle. "The caster is still here. I can't tell you where, but it is somewhere close. Are there any other rooms above or beneath us maybe?" She then perks up at the mention of books and makes her way into the room, eyes wide open. She strolls around with a look of amazement on her face, here and there leaning forward to read an inscription. "Yes, its a shame...", she aspirates with sparkling eyes.
Thomas breathes heavily and sits in one of the chairs for a moment, his exhaustion seemingly catching up to him. As much as he is able, he keeps a carful eye on Lyra as she walks about the room, looking at the books. He turns his head back to Hrain as he speaks.
"This room would seem to be clear of any un-accounted for casters as well, Captain. We... We should move on to the next one."

"Thomas, you are right but you are clearly drained as well. You need rest, Folzi please continue to investigate the rooms and Lyra you accompany him, whatever presence you are sensing we will try and uncover it but we should finish the rooms on this floor before we worry about the other levels. Halberd here will be with you all the way in case he is needed."
Hrain prepares to unlock the third door, pausing until everyone is in position and ready, he then opens the door.

As the others continue Lebenha enters the library, almost distracted and start looking at the books. She founds one that catch her eye and takes it, then she follows Lyra and Folzi in case they need her help.
The mercenary nodded affirmatively to the Captain as he bid Haldur remain by Thomas' side.
"Yes sir. I will assist the cleric as he requires." A slight pause, then "Call out if you have need of us though, sir."
With that, Haldur moved to stand beside the cleric of Mystra. He gave the exhausted man a brief, cursory glance but knew that he could do precious little to help alleviate his fatigue. What the man needed was some well-deserved rest, but with a threat still unaccounted for, such a luxury could not yet be afforded.
"If, um.." The young sellsword cleared his throat somewhat awkwardly, "If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know and I will try with the best of my abilities."

Folzi gives the Sunite captain a nod letting him know he is ready. He then looks back to Lyra, "Are you sure you're not just picking up that fellow that was down in the dungeon? Or maybe one of these fellows here," he points his dagger at the Shepherds with a grin and given them a sniff, "have some latent draconic 'talents'? Ha! Now wouldn't that be something?!"
It's a richly decorated room with plenty to look at but no one is immediately in view from the vantage of the door.
(Would Folzi and Thomas not have entered the room to perform their investigation?)
OOC: As in y'all checked no one was going to jump out, then moving into the room no one is in there.
The door creaks open, which somewhat overshadows the sound of bubbling liquid. Before you is a room about which alchemist's dream. Three tables bend beneath a clutter of bottles of liquid and connected glass piping. Several bookshelves stand nearby stuffed to overfilling with a jumble of books, jars, bottles, bags, and boxes. The alchemist who set this all up doesn't seem to be present, but a beaker of green fluid boils over a burner on one of the tables. There's a chair and desk here covered in papers as well as a clockwork bird chattering away on a perch on the far side of the room!
Hrain this is the office of Astrid Caelano the cleric-alchemist that's much older than you but offers no guidance or ceremony when it comes to the running of the garrison. You've never been invited here nor have you ever entered without her being present. It's odd however that you recall having not seen the old woman in quite some time, she left for the main temple in Sul na Mara weeks ago, but her experiments seem renewed!
OOC: declare movement before entering the room or rolling, this is the 'view' from the hallway. Looking into the cramped room stuffed with various things.
