"Greetings. I could not help but notice that I have not seen you around here before. You are all quite outfitted with all sorts of gear, and I was wondering if you might be heading into the jungle. You see, I am a wilderness guide, and I wondered if you might conssider hiring me. My name is Salida."

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Grugg squares his attention towards the outgoing stranger and says firmly in a deep voice, "Salida not on job board. Not real guide." Grugg looks around at his companions then back towards Salida. Grinning broadly at the woman then said, "Not pay real guide prices. Sit. Drink. Talk." Making sweeping gestures towards their bench and then a mug near the open space at the table.
Grugg looks around as if about to say something dumb...then keeps his drunken mouth shut.
Raaldo looks the woman up and down a bit trying to get a feel for who she is. He then looks her in the eye and says, "Ah, Salida. Yes, I believe I recall a post of yours hanging in the harbormasters quarters. Not one to share the spotlight it seemed. What is it you have against the other guides? And why is it you think we should hire you instead? Speak truthful now so that we all here can understand why you think our choice should be for you."

"Plainly and simply, they cannot be trusted. They are fools and charlatans, and have led many an expedition into the forest, and came out alone. I, on the other hand, know every bit of this jungle, and have led many successful expeditions. I also do not charge a thirty day payment up front like the others."

"BAH!"Grugg retorts. "You sound same as other guides. All blame each other."Grugg turns to the barmaid's direction and yells, "More now please!"Grugg has only ever been known as the polite drunk of the crowd. Turning his square, chiseled and relatively perfect jaw-line to once again face the guide, he says in a lower voice, "Nobody say White Dwarf-guide bad. Why not?" His inquisition-like gaze would probably make any deceitful stranger reconsider their next response.
Raaldo scratches his chin. The group had been considering the dwarf as their guide, and now here appears a witness against him. Adding this with what the man told him earlier "a pale-skinned whispering to the dino keeper", could those be one in the same? Could there be something amiss with Musharib? But why would she say they are all brutal savages if it were just this one? Raaldo leans in towards the woman and says, "I'm sure we all want to believe you, really we do. But besides a few words of discouragement towards the others, what proof might you have? What else do you know that would help us to decide?" (Insight21)

Kosadius is sitting and listening to the others and they have their say to the female guide. After a while he stands up. " Please sit and join us. I'm more inclined to sit, have a drink and then talk business. Do understand that we all came to a agreement on the dwarf. So, please sit and tell us a tale. Why we should trust you and what do you get out of it, other than payment at the end. Also, what would a guide suggest we equip ourselves with when we do go into the jungle. " he says this all very nicely, kind and making it obvious to her that we will listen and make a decision after.

As they continue to listen to the woman Raaldo excuses himself briefly, "Pardon me a moment, while I retrieve more ale for the table." He stands and walks towards the barkeep.
As he approaches the bar keeper he nods back toward the table, "Beg pardon sir, but what might you know about that Salida character over there? She comes on a bit strong." Raaldo lays down 3 sp and adds "And another gallon of ale if you please good sir." He watches the mans actions and listens to his voice for any hints about Salidas character. (Insight: 21)
After hearing anything the bar tender may say as he collects the ale, Raaldo heads back toward the table and fills everyone's mug with a smile saying, "Now this should make the nights tales a bit more fascinatin'!"

"Many times, other guides have been seen limping out of the jungle, barely alive, having gotten their groups, and nearly themselves, killed with their terrible guidance. I, on the other hand, have never once left a group behind, instead successfully navigating the jungle every time. I have discovered great riches for the parties I have guided, only taking a modest share for myself. I know every inch of the jungle well, and can find secret shortcuts that will bring us through the jungle at twice the speed you would normally achieve on your own! I implore you, adventurers. Hire me to guide you through the treacherous jungle."
