Lucky, not trusting of the old woman and her shroom-hut, chooses to stay behind where the boat has been moored on land. Leggy pokes Lucky in the neck, which has been his signal when he needs to get down (or so Lucky has been assuming this whole time). "Ok, little buddy. I'll just wait here for ya. Happy hunting!" Knowing not if the little guy understands what Lucky is saying, Leggy scurries down from Lucky's shoulder and quickly disappears into the underbrush.
Lucky keeps an eye on his fellow companions from a safe distance, and brings out his Shawm and begins to play a relaxing melody to nobody in particular.
Recwyin - you can only see tracks that seem to be from the woman, you are sure she lives alone and it looks like she hasn't had any visitors in a long time, if ever.
To Rhogar she says, "Hmm, you're from up top eh? First time down in the Dark? Well, I've been around, but I've never been up to the top. I think them Duergers sometimes make their way up there you could head toGracklstugh, see if they know. The Drow too, they go to and fro all the time from what i hear, you could try Menzoberranzan, that's where the most of them are."
Rhogar's eyes will go wide at the mention of Menzoberranzan... "yeahh um... we would like to avoid the drow if possible... umm..... I am interested in Gracklstugh though. Do you think you could point us in the right direction? Also, you don't happen to have any items or goods we could trade you for do you?
"I have this net that could be useful for fishing, as well as this nice Trident. Otherwise I have a bag of Caltrops you could sprinkle in and round your garden to keep unwanted creatures away" Rhogar will kind of point his head towards the creatures stomping in her garden.... "I would want something equally valuble in return of course" A smile spreading across his face."
Satisfied with his surroundings Recwyin approaches the woman. If you have something I or my friends find useful I have a spear and a shortsword I could add to our offer. It's a good sword useful for harvesting some of your largest crops. In fact depending what you have we might trade a few hours labor as well helping tend your garden. persuasion 8
"Hmpf, I don't have much use for your weapons, I can't swing any of those heavy things around. But you all seem very apt at such things. Maybe you could do old Nanny a favor, and in exchange I'll give you some directions, and I can even whip you up something that might help you on your travels. How's that sound?"
"I don't need any of that 'god' flim flam, but I'll throw in a basket of my shroomies if you all do this for me. Some kinda creatures been coming out while I sleep and eating my poor little shroomies! I saw it slip back into the water once, but couldn't get a good look at it. I can help you all breath under water if you'll go down there and take care of it for me. Bring back to me if you can."
Recwyin - You're certain she's telling the truth, but you are also sure there were no tracks but hers
(If Lucky were in range to hear this woman's request, he's sure Bigsby would just Nope the hell outta there real quick and probably swoop up some shrooms on his way out...lol)
Does it come every night? Perhaps we could hide and ambush it. Our last time helping a situation went poorly and I don't know that our group would agree to going in after the creature. I'm a fair tracker and I see no sign of this beast.
Rhogar will look at her and with a very straight face ask "So on the nights when the creature comes and eats your mushrooms... do you wake up feeling really full or are you hungry and ready for breakfast?
Perhaps it is drawn to sleep or can sense it. Alone you can't be asleep and awaiting the creature. Before we agree to go after it, let me ask how often does it come and when was it here last? Whether or not we agree to help I think we should at least try and ambush it once.

"Sounds good to me, I need to get out and stretch my legs a bit"
Not having anything to give up. Bigsby offers to pray over the house for protection from evil in exchange for a basket of mushrooms.
Before we agree what do you want us to do and what dangers do we face. There must be some or you wouldn't be asking...
Recwyin study's the woman trying to determine the truthfulness and completeness of her response. Insight 22

“Are we sure she isn’t just sleepwalking and doing this all on her own?”
(that was what I was trying to figure out by asking her how she felt in the mornings after it happens lol)
Recwyin can tell his friends are unsure of the strange green woman's intent so he will focus on determining her motives and truthfulness.

Unfortunately he is still perplexed by the lack of tracks so his focus is divided at best....
***I thought you did that already and Crit lol***
